I have been a customer of TWC for several years. I discontinued my service with them about 5 months ago because I could not get service personnel dispatched within a reasonable time. I decided today to give them another try. I went to the Spectrum website (Spectrum now owns TWC) and looked at the cost for a high speed internet connection. Website showed $44.95 for 60Mps connection. Not bad! Went in to schedule an installation and was told that the cost would be over $80 for a 50Mps connection. When I told the service lady this she said that they could not give me the internet price. Was told that "Spectrum pricing" would not be available until the 15th of the month and oh by the way, the internet price is different than the price you will get if you go to the counter. Really??? I wonder if they have never looked up the definition of customer service. Now, DirectTV will be installing equipment at my house tomorrow. Do Not Recommend! (I will say that the young lady who assisted me was personable but her hands were completely tied by the company).

My experience with TWC in North Myrtle Beach has been consistently positive. Having been a customer of this company for several years, Ive had few problems in the first place, with my service offering great performance and a near-100% uptime (for internet, at least; Ive never used the TV side of the service). However, on the rare occasion that Ive required assistance, TWC and their folks have always been fast, capable, and friendly, from the front-desk receptionist when paying my bill, to the repair man when they once had to roll a truck to my place. After reading the other, negative reviews here, Ill say that, perhaps, Im just lucky in my dealings with TWC; but, for what its worth, I have only good things to say about it. All in all, I am grateful for this business and those who run it. Much thanks :)

FRAUD! We were sold our package deal when we moved into our new home and was told by the salesman that came to the door that we were to receive a $300 gift card as the current promotion. We were told wit would arrive in 3 months and when it didnt arrive I called . I was told the y dont offer that anymore by one woman and told by their resolution support Stephen, that I had to prove it and he refused to let me speak to someone that had authority. He hung up on me when I insisted. I wonder how many others were told they would get a promo that NEVER arrives. Time Warner is trrrible.

My son tells me his Internet and Cable Service has been horrible since the day he ordered it. Internet is sporadic at best, constantly losing its connection. I cant believe he has to pay full price for the poorest of service. He was told his house is too far from the road (75) and there is insufficient power to transmit the signal that far. The trees are too tall to get Satellite Service... so he is stuck with TWC or nothing... Cmon TWC... send someone to fix the problem or reduce his charges to compensate the shortfall of Service provided by you...

Worst internet services ever. PERIOD. It isnt reliable and the customer services is garbage. Also my internet went down resently so i called customer support and not even a minute after finishing the 20 minute hold time the dude hung up on me.
