we brought our car in to have the brakes pads replaced, they did that and the next day it was driving like the emergency break on, squealing loudly and smelling like burning rubber (it did not do this before). I brought it back and they would say they would take a look at it. They had it all day and didnt bother to call me, so I called them and they said they couldnt find anything wrong with it except replacing the AC compressor (a $800+ part) and that was what was causing the squealing and smell (it did not do this the day before, it only started after the brakes were replaced). I told them this and they said theyd take another look at it. It approached closing time, I called back and they said that they did found out what was wrong, they would fix it but it wouldnt be done till the morning. Next day... after 3:00 I finally called and they completely ignored what the guy had told me the day before and said that it was the ABS system and it would cost us if we wanted it to be fixed. They said they tried calling but didnt leave a message. I have caller ID and they DID NOT call. I just think its ironic that we had NONE of these problems until we brought the car in for one simple thing, now all of a sudden we need a complete overhaul. Is it just really that much of a coincidence? I seriously doubt it. Bottom line: they suck. Dont go here. EVER.

In the past three weeks, I bought Michelin tires there, then had my car’s 28 year old suspension replaced yesterday. Through it all, I was made to feel like family, very welcomed, with all my questions answered and a very friendly “porter” who took me to several places in town while I waited for my car. Being a member, the work is guaranteed for two years, but, having had work done by them in the past, the excellent work they do never needs repeating. Their parts are equal to or better than dealer replacement parts and I have confidence that any “rework” that would become necessary will be handled in the same friendly, helpful manner. In the past, when parts needed to be ordered, making my car undriveable until the job was done, I was transported 28 miles home and picked up when the car was ready – for free. Although my dealer will sometimes rent a car for me, I never know if they will or if I’ll have to rent a car - not until it comes up. AAA can be counted on to transport me home and back for free. I can’t praise this location highly enough. They’re the best, and their prices are much lower than dealer prices. That’s a quadruple winner: friendly, great work and parts, free transportation, and good pricing.

Took my car in to have some service done. Needed an oil change, air filter change, tire rotation, radiator checked and possibly flushed as it was overheating, and my air conditioner fixed which I believed to have a leak. Dropped the vehicle off at 9 when they opened and was told it would be done by the afternoon. Called back to find that they had not been able to get everything done and wished to replace my break pads which looked corroded. Fine. They then keep my car for another day and said it was fixed. When I asked about everything they said the AC had been leaking from a valve, but they did not replace it. So I let them keep it for another day to fix the leak. Picked up the car, checked the AC but turned it back off as it was cooling down. A week later I find the AC is all gone and the engine is still over heating. Bill shows a charge of 180 dollars for the AC fix, and nothing done to the Radiator. Three days to change the oil, rotate the tires, replace some break pads, and NOT Fix the AC or Radiator.

Since new management has taken over the store the service and the staff are very friendly. I took my car in for an oil change and some other service work I needed. ie. air filter, cabin air filter. When they talked to me about the service I asked for they told me that the air filter is ok to keep in car. They did change the cabin air filter since it was very dirty. They also informed me of other things such as the brakes, belts and some flushes that they recomended. They told me that the flushes were not a safety issue but the brakes and belts were. They gave me the option to do the flushes but again told me that they are not necessery just a maintance issue. Because I felt like that were concerned with my safety and not making a buck I did the brakes and belts. I left the store for lunch and I was called and informed that it would take a little longer than told initialy which was great to be kept in the loop. Over all very happy with the service and the level of care that they showed me. Highly recomend.

Ive taken my rav4 here twice for an oil change. Will not go again. The staff is polite and nice, but each time I had to bring my vehicle back after they made a mistake. The first time, the cap on the oil pan was not screwed in all the way, causing an oil leak after the change-they did resolve the issue. I thought Id give them one more chance. I took it back for a second oil change recently. After getting my car home and thinking everything ok, I look down to see that my check engine light, 4WD light, and traction control lights all were on. Also, my cruise control would not engage. I took it back, only to be told that I would need to PAY $95.00 for a diagnostic check-even though all the warning lights came on immediately AFTER leaving the oil change. Took my car to the dealership and they said the air intake manifold on the engine had been knocked loose somehow. Had to pay to have this fixed at the dealership. Never again will I go to AAA.

BEWARE........The WORST! I went to get a van repaired! I thought everything was ok until my van started to leak again! I took the van back to AAA and they advised me that my engine would have to be taken out to repair the leak. Aaa also advised me that they werent responsible for the repair and that they were in the process of shutting down the rock hill location so there was NOTHING they could do for me! I took the van to another shop on Anderson rd & they advised me that the thermostat that I got put in at AAA was installed backwards! Wow...Needless to say my van was fixed and the engine didnt have to be removed! Afterwards I advised the lady at the front desk at AAA in rock hill what was going on & she replied " what does a thermostat being put in backwards have to do with your van leaking coolant". Yikes!!! I would not recommend AAA under any circumstance and I am in the process of trying to get my 800+ bucks back to me! BEWARE.
