Bought a used 740iL from Ken Webb, it started to fall apart on the interstate on the way home. Ken specifically told me and my father that the car had been checked by their service department before being put on the lot. I had them fix the glove box before I bought it (which fell apart 4 days out of warranty and they wouldnt do anything about it). ALL of the speakers were blown, which I didnt realize on the test drive because I didnt want to turn it up too loud. Service Engine light came on about a day later and I had ANOTHER shop, with a little more brain power than the fools at Philips apparently, check it out and the wiring going into the computer is messed up, another $800. The rear window regulator went out on the interstate in the rain on the way home. Ken told me the service manager would give me a good deal to fix all the problems (that I was told were already checked up on), which never happened. If you MUST buy from these half wits, at least take the car to the dealership (BMW, Lexus, Audi, etc) to make sure that nothing is wrong with it. The cheats at Philips have NO problem lying to you just to make a sale! Lesson learned.

Philips Auto Tech is my vehicles new repair home. Both Jason and Mr. Ernest were both informative, friendly, and professional. They made my stress level decrease in just the manner in which they spoke to me and took care of my vehicle. Most of the time Phillips is able to make my repairs but this time it needed to go to the dealer.They tried EVERYTHING to save me some $ but ultimately I had to go to Land Rover.BUT,they DID not Charge me for the diagnostic since they couldnt fix it!! Just coordinated service at Philips Auto Tech from NY for my daughter attending University of South Carolina. Couldnt be happier with the service I received from Jason. They were polite, efficient, effective and economical. After speaking with a local dealer and two other shops, Im really happy I chose them. You guys are the best. I had taken my car to four different shops, including the dealer, and no one could identify the problem. I had wasted money fixing things that werent broke, trying to find out what was draining my battery. Your mechanic persevered until he found the problem and fixed it...and at a reasonable price. Fantastic auto service shop. My BMW over-heated on a road trip and I had to stop in Columbia. I called this place and they were nice on the phone, helpful in person, and fixed my BMW that day so my family could go on our vacation.
