Have been with Comporium for almost 3 years and have had multiple problems. Our connection is consistently terrible. I called and talked to their tech support and was told that I would need to change the location of our modem/router and there would be a $50 fee to come out and do it for us. They said it could possibly be our equipment as well. My other problem is they are constantly raising their prices. The last time I spoke with them about this and told them I was going to leave them for AT&T they agreed to give me $42.95 for life (as long as I chose to stay with them). My rate went up AGAIN. I just called and spoke with Rachel and she said they would have my phone call records pulled (which I suggested) and would call me back. According to their printed records, they offered me that deal as a promotion for 6 months. For the coverage I get with Comporium, I would rather pay ATT $19.95 and get the same coverage. I miss Time Warner Cable...they were hands down so much better!

Comporium is a terrible company, I would never use them again. Every 6 months they jack your bill up an additional $5-10. I have to call and renegotiate my bill everytime. They do not offer any reasonable packages, what once was a $90 bill for basic plus cable-roughly 200 channels and basic Internet is now $155. Its highway robbery. Their staff is rude and irrational. This company is a monopoly in most places and they know it. They would not survive one day of competition in a large city. Comporium is the worst-youve been warned! Stay away!

The link I had on the card I was given did not work. Not a good start if you want a review. Then I was given this link and had to search for the area in which one posts a review. Again, not a good beginning. Re the service I experienced today: Steven Gregory (010053) did a great job of hooking up all the items. He experienced a few "bumps", none of which were his doing but was professional and extremely pleasant. He was exceptional in getting my pc hooked up so I could get back to work. You are fortunate to have him in your employ!

Absolutely horrible service. I would rather deal with the pain of a big company that at least has good service once youre set up and connected than constantly have my Internet service either out, or so slow its impossible to accomplish anything. Despite saying they will fix it and making it seem as though its as simple as contacting customer service and a technician, it isnt. I would not recommend Comporium to anyone. In this day in age, its unacceptable and a huge waste of money.

We have been using comporium for a few years and I have never been more dissappointed in service provider than this company. I expect some things to go wrong but i have had enough!!! You over pay for internet that is slower than G3. I cant even go one night without having to reset my modem. Ive never posted a bad review online before but I had to make an exception. If you have a choice, choose a different provider. Even if it is double the price it will be more then worth it.

The data aloud for cable modem even on elite package is so small, but when you request a bigger package, of course they dont offer it in our area. They are more worried about providing fiber to the new neighborhoods an forget the loyal an original customers from the start! Without the original customers the company wouldnt be where it is. Thank goodness TWC will be here soon. They will be more than willing to provide updated stuff for "old" neighborhoods!

Comporium is so expensive. The charge for services is asking way to much. The employees are great and the service is ok but not great. Right now I dont have much of a choice but to keep it. Need to lower prices. Everyone else the prices are awesome except for Time Warner they expensive to. You charge way to much for services. Do something about it.

So far so good. They sent the tech over as scheduled, they were on time and made all the necessary changes as requested. We preferred having a black DVR, but they did not have any in stock, they put me on a waiting list. A couple weeks later, i was able to pick up and swap my DVR for a black one with a larger storage capacity at no additional cost.

My TV service just went out and on the screen it says... Failed to receive broadcast ughh! Im a new customer and Im not happy at all... I have tried to call at least 10 times to find out what the issue is and all I get is circuits are busy..Reallyyyy??? So annoying that I cant reach someone to perhaps help me... Thanks for nothing Comporium!!!!

How terrible is Comporium? I had to run windows diagnostics twice, reset my router, and refresh this page a dozen times just to leave this rotten review. The worst internet service Ive ever experienced, and expensive too. Unfortunately, you are forced to use them, despite the supposed illegality of monopolies in the United States.

I hate these people. They are looting us. Dont tell me to call the Tech support. They came and charged me extra dollars and told me that it is my laptop wher ei have the buffering issue on TV as well. Thes people is of no use. I like fortmill But hate comporium to the core which might make me move to NC for google ...

Complete joke. They charge the older part of Tega Cay the exact same monthly price as customers with fiber optic connections with faster speeds. Do you think they will upgrade our lines to fiber optic? Of course not but they sure as heck dont mind ripping off loyal customers.

I only have Comporium for my internet and only because there are no other options here. Rates constantly go up and, after calling today to see what discounts I am eligible for, was told that I can only get a discount if I opt for a more expensive plan. Defeats the purpose...

Moved to Fort Mill in 2008, we have 3 computers (desk, lap tops), we got Comporium since it was the only game in town, we havent had a single problem, called customer service a couple of times for small issues and everything was fixed in no time. No complaints here.

We have to constantly reboot the cable box, get kicked off the internet all the time and comporium is not compatible with our security system. Should have gone with Time Warner

I needed help with my AT&T account and the staff was super helpful and nice. Plus, their free coffee and hot chocolate is amazing!!
