The cable and phone is good but not great. The internet has been poor for as long as Ive had it (8yrs). Ive had multiple outage issues and numerous techs to my house. I still have sporadic outage issues. Im not new to computers, I built my first one 30+ yrs ago and own an IT consulting business in the DC area (now mostly retired from IT). When I call and while on the phone with the tech my connection mysteriously comes back but it was supposedly my router that is causing the problem...sorry not buying it. Now with data caps I will be dropping all of my cable service (including the extra channels I pay for), my phone service and if I can find a reasonable provider my internet as well. Im thinking its time for an HD antenna and a HTPC. Ive had a number of cable providers over the years and Armstrongs customer service people are possibly the best Ive dealt with. They are always very nice and helpful. Sadly the product is sub-par. In my opinion thats usually what you get from small town monopolies.

Constant connection drops, worse than dial up. Company has had a tech out 2 times, going on 3. Wont offer a discount for their shitty service. Has no problem taking my money monthly out of my bank account. Worst cable company around. Would love TWC or COX or anything. Company needs to be shut down, CEO needs to be fired and put on the streets. Had satellite and it offered better connections than this terrible company. The speed is good, when it works, which is rarely. They like to say it is "on my end" when it clearly isnt. Absolutely hate this company but Im stuck with them because I dont want to pay for a phone line plus DSL. Then has no problem slamming customers with overages because they put a limit on their trash internet service.

Worst ISP, Its pretty sad when theyre base internet is so similar to DSL, that if I could get DSL I would. I have to Get the " Business Class" internet to even compare what I had at Comcast or Time Warner at a base speed. Oh and the Data cap..... who the hell does this in this day and age, its just a greedy money grab. And one last thing that grinds my gears, and other local utility companies are guilty of this, ( you know who you are) the damn fee for paying your bill online with a credit card?!? its Mother F*&^%$G 2016! not the mid to late 90s.... / End Rant

Worst internet provider Ive ever had the misfortune to use. They set an unrealistically low data cap, which we exceeded monthly, causing us to pay additional fees. They refused to send bills to the address where the Internet was being used, and instead sent bills to the wrong address in another state. This led to bills being paid late, which added even more fees. Their website is virtually unusable, and often reflected different prices than we were quoted or being billed for. If you can avoid using Armstrong, do. They are awful.

I thought it was reasonably priced before the data cap. Now you have to limit yourself to 5 gigs a day, and with a household of 5 people that watch online video it gets past the cap fast and you have to pay a lot extra. I have a feeling they are going to lose a lot of customers to verizon or other options in the grove city area. I know i will be canceling soon if the data cap is not removed, its just another way to make extra money when there is no legitimate reason to have it.

The phone and cable TV were fine for as long as we had it. My parents got rid of cable and I have wanted them to get it back for a LONG time now. The internet SUCKS. Its slow, not very reliable, and if you exceed your data limit, will you get a letter in the mail? NOPE! Instead a very important and frequently visited website (such as Youtube or Facebook) just decides not to load one day and its a PITA to fix. Do yourself a favour and dont get Armstrong.

Truly the worst service I ever had. Lived in Syracuse NY with TW and it was ok. Came here and got to experience first hand what a true monopoly business Youngstown has going. No options and the one you are stuck with provides the worst service I have ever seen both on the internet and TV. I switched my TV to DirectTv but am still stuck with them with internet. No options on where to go. I cant wait till I move to get away from their shitty service.

money hungry company, want to charge for everything. internet is overpriced. and their usage caps are unrealistic. got a crappy choice on internet packages, with poor customer service! havent even had the internet with them for 30 days. im sorry i switched. need to open the area for other companies with better service to move in!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a joke of a company, and if you are unfortunate enough to be forced into being one of their customers you already knew that. I get 300GB on a 100Mbps connection. I can kill this data cap in a few hours in my home. Unfortunately for me and my family, we are forced to put up with this awful corporation. Do yourself a favor and check ISPs if you are moving. You DO NOT want to get stuck with this joke.

The WORST service provider of anything that Ive ever had. Over the top pricing on sub-par speeds with terrible customer service. The star review is pretty spot on with there company. I have there pro internet service, it drops speeds all the time to not even let videos stream. I really hope the contract hold on other carriers ends VERY soon.

Tech came out twice... internet is always down. Customer service is garbage. Corporate america so its either armstong in our area or no internet. First chance i get im going to another company. Waste of money. Id be better off and be more reliable to just send smoke signals instead of trying to send someone a email...... not satisfied....

Constant problems with wi-fi. Have called repeatedly and get a different answer every time for why the wi-fi keeps going out. Techs have been out on several occasions, but no fix. However, rates continue to rise. Also, they do not include Netflix on the TiVo box. Other than that, they are pretty good as far as service.

Imposed data caps on my internet 2 months after getting service. Overage charges are outrageous, cant stream video without going over. Obviously designed to punish cord cutters, since data caps are raised if you add their crappy cable service. If you are moving to an area with Armstrong service, dont.

Speed have increased in 2017, they are competitive in speed pricing is fair. While I do not agree with data caps theirs is currently 1tb. Which I dont see me using. Though to be fair it cost them zero extra money regardless of how much data I use, so its just a shady way to get money from people.

We have been with Armstrong a long time. Customer service is knowledgeable and extremely nice. Service calls are free but we have never actually needed one. We almost never loose service and pricing is competitive. No one is perfect but these guys are close
