I would recommend the Heating and Air side of Griffin to others. The service was friendly and prompt, and the problem was fixed. Although I would go through Griffin for Heating and Air service again, be careful when requesting plumbing service. This is where some "fine print" fees show up (i.e. two different "service calls" being charged when the same person doing duct work also looks at a plumbing issue during the same visit). The time actually worked doesnt match up with the time charged on the bill - but thats just the nature of any kind of maintenance/service work I suppose. Just be sure to get a pricing breakdown before hand so you know what to expect. If not for my experience with the plumbing side of Griffin, I would have rated them 5 stars. Again, if youre having heating and air issues, theyll take care of you in a friendly and fast manner.

Griffin Mechanical has done great work us ever since we moved here. We had two aging AC units when we moved in and as we asked around for recommendations of who to use, we figured we give them a try. After our old 2.5 ton unit was upgraded to a 3.5 ton unit and new duct work (old system ran high pressure under the crawl space -- never seen anything like it), service calls, warranty work, etc. weve always been pleased with their work and Wills response. We have had the brief pleasure of trying the smilier company at our house for plumbing and HVAC service and it didnt take long to figure out we were paying more for fancy advertising and within hours response. Instead of an overly bad review for them, Id rather point my money to the better company. When our 2nd old unit finally goes, theres no question Griffin will get the job.

Weve live in Dickson, TN for 25 years and in that time weve used 4 different heating and air specialist. All of them were a major disappointment and two of them have since gone out of business if that tells you anything. Recently we replaced one of the heating and air units at our home and after two local friends recommended Griffin Mechanical we called to get an estimate. At that point we already had 4 other estimates from other well known companies. Because of their reputation we chose Griffin and we are glad we did. They are very nice to deal with, trustworthy, very professional and spent more time helping us choose a system with specs and features that would best suit our needs. Of the 5 estimates we got they were very competitive in terms of price and and less than the two highest estimates.

Griffin is my "go-to" company for all heating and air installations and maintenance! They do not spend a lot of $$$ on advertising or slick materials, just on service and equipment - which means they actually do pass on the savings to you. In getting estimates from the big names and then calling Will Hicks at Griffin, I always save literally a thousand or more dollars. They are honest, dont try to sell you things you dont need, and they will support what they sell. Their techs are professional and friendly. You cant go wrong with Griffin Mechanical.

Heard great things about this company so decided to try them out. Signed up for an annual service checkup and was pleased with the results. I was worried about my aging HVAC unit and feared I would get an expensive recommendation. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable but (thankfully) not a sales person. He pointed out some parts that were old, but still had plenty of life in them. If they were all about up-selling, Im sure I would have gotten a laundry list of things to replace. Definitely will stick with them.

I requested service on my unit due to my heat being out at 3pm on a Friday. I fully expected to have to wait until the beggining of the next week to get my unit serviced. By 3:30pm the service manager, Will, was at my house to service my unit! He fixed it quickly and at a fair price. I was pleased. Whatsmore, he knew that I wanted to know what was going on with the unit. He educated me on how the unit operated, why it was not working, and what he was doing to fix it. Great experience!

During the extremely cold weather my H C unit stopped working as far as the heating part. A friend recommended calling Griffin Mechanical . I called and immediately spoke to someone who was very knowledgeable about the problem. They were very prompt in getting to my home and taking care of the problem in a fast and perfessional manner. Quick and timely services - they dont try to "upsell" once they get to your house, they fix the problem and stand by their services..Fabulous company with attentive employees and managers. I had my AC unit go out and Griffin responded promptly. It ended up being a small part that failed but they could have easily told me I needed an entire AC unit and I wouldnt have know the difference. They are honest and do great work. I recommend them without any reservations. Thanks for being one of those hard to find vendors who actually walks the talk.
