My rental agreement began on Oct. 25th. When you sign your agreement, you have to pay rent for the first 30 days, which would have my account "paid" through Nov. 25th. Typically, rent is due on the 1st of each month, so I figured the remaining 5 days would just be added to the following month, due on Dec. 1st. Apparently, I owed them rent on the 25th for the 5 remaining days that month, which also happened to be the day after Thanksgiving. I did not realize this or it was not made clear to me. I had already set up my payment for Decembers rent through my banks online bill pay. I received two notices in the mail in December, one day a part, stating the my account was past due, and then that it was delinquent and the locks had been changed. Apparently trusting the post office to deliver time-sensitive and important information is sufficient to them. I never received a phone call to resolve the issue BEFORE the lock was cut. I called and spoke with Amanda, who stated that any account "past due" at the end of the month gets the locks changed, no questions asked. Never-mind that my account was past due by less than 5 days, two of those being non-business (weekend) days! I spoke with the Area Manager who maintained that I had not followed the rules but since I was a new customer they would waive my late fee and my fee for a new lock (to replace the one THEY cut). When they cut my lock they also damaged the door making it very difficult to lock the unit. I requested it be repaired and that never happened. Fast forward to April... I received a notice saying that my rent is going up $6 a month, and that my account is past due. I check my online bill pay, and a check was sent to them on Mar. 30th, they just havent cashed it yet. This facility is always looking for ways to make extra money off of their customers. A fee for a lock (and you cant bring your own), a fee if they cut your lock, a fee for a late payment, a raise in your rates, etc., etc. I would not recommend this facility. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is that the Area Manager did waive the fees they charged me. There is another facility down the road from this one that was just a few dollars more a month, I wish I had chosen that facility instead! It would have been worth a couple extra bucks to not have to scrutinize every bill and notice I get to make sure Im not being charged unnecessarily.

Amanda equals Amazing!!!! My mom and I were so over whelmed with our move. She made our lives so much better and was so sensitive to our situation. She took her time after we continuously had to reschedule our appointment. She greeted us with a fantastic smile! She answered all of our questions. She took the time to explain every single thing to us. Great customer service are small words for the help she rendered. Thanks Public Storage for delivering employees who have a heart for the customers. Thanks Amanda for being Soooooooooooo Amazing!!!!!!

We walked in and we were greeted by Amanda and she was fabulous. She assisted us, gladly walked us around the grounds to show us the features this site has. She was so friendly. Tried to rent a unit, they said they had what I needed no need to reserve or put a credit card down. Arrive the next day with my uhall full, and now the unit I needed is actually still locked by the previous renter. So they offer me a different unit for 30 dollars more a month without drive up access. Go to storplace of Hermitage. Cheaper and nicer.

Had a wonderful experience with Rachel today. She had the exact Unit that I needed!! It was quick, easy and really convenient. So glad that I found them in the neighborhood. If you need storage in the Hermitage area, please check our Public Storage. Best thing I did today. It really gave me piece of mind to know my stuff will be safe and convenient.

Never had a problem with any kind of damage or theft at this location. When I moved from a 10x10 unit to a 10x30 the process went very smooth, with plenty of time to empty out the old unit. Angie is a complete joy to work with, always helpful and pleasant I recommend this location.
