I have shipped items from this location for years. I have been coming here every few months since 2004. They are always very friendly. In September 2011 I shipped a small package to South Carolina. This package contained a small Build a Bear teddy bear and a card. I paid close to $20 to ship it there. I did not have it rush delivered or request any extra bells and whistles. I was told that because of the area it was being sent to I had to pay extra. I thought it was odd- but needed to get it on its way and decided to avoid shipping gifts to this person in the future. I went in again last week to ship another package.. this time to an urban area in Texas. The package weighed less than 5 pounds. The girl showed me prices- the cheapest option I had was $28! I was told that to have it shipped UPS ground I would have to pay $45. I took my box and left. Later that morning I logged onto the UPS site and printed my own label for $15! I absolutely will not go in here again.

I went to this store twice, the first time I wanted to ship a pair of shoes to Europe, they gave me a price that I thought its quite expensive, but I was under the impression that thats the price, although the guy had an attitude as if he is the head of control room in NASA, still he wasnt rude. The second time I went there to ship a card to Europe, I had it in a bubble pad. He said its gonna be $70 and it takes 3 business days and the carries would be FEDEX. He said the card has to come out of the bubble pad and when I asked why, he rolled his eyes and he got very angry. I came out and I went to "The Woodlands Postal Express" on sawdust and I-45, the lady gave me the quote of $54 with DHL, she put my padded card in another padded rap and put that in an envelope and she smiled. I really recommend the woodlands postal express over the shipping store at college park for better and cheaper service with a fantastic attitude.

This store is good for shipping, packing, and boxes. But for printing its ridiculous. They dont accept flash drives and you can only email them. Their website states its 49 cents per page for color. When I went to get 4 pages printed out they tried to charge me $5!! When I raised a fuss about it, the employee told me is was a fee for printing from email! Wtf? Thats the only option I had as you cant bring a flash drive! So they gouge you by giving you only one option and then charging a fee for the inconvenience of having to email it to begin with. That is just terrible business right there. I felt bad for the employee as I was obviously irritated by this and he had to hear me complain. He did a good job handling the situation but the owners/managers of this business need to get their act together.

I recently shipped a package at this location and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and clean appearance. The staff seemed very knowledgable and helped me with a pretty difficult shipping problem I had. They even went so far as to follow up with me later to see if the problem was fully resolved. A++ The prices seemed high to me, but after some checking at other shipping locations, they seemed to be pretty par for the course. Plus they offered alternative carrier prices. They do have a surcharge on their USPS (mail) services though. It was explained to me that this store is not a Postal annex, so the charges are retail. It makes sense I guess, and the prices werent too steep.

I was at this place the other day to ship two packages. The guy who took care of me was polite and all. He said he was offering me the cheapest rates available for my packages, so I decided to go ahead and pay since I had to ship them that day. The price seemed to be a little high but I didnt think much of it. I went home and double check online if what I had paid was the right price. Checked USPS and FedEx, and both places quoted way cheaper prices for my packages. I guess these guys werent really giving me the most affordable options. I feel like I got robbed honestly. That was my first time there but it looks like Im never going back to this place again.

I shipped a package from the ship store via USPS but on arrival the package was missing items. I went to The Shipping Store and explained the situation and immediately the manager refunded my shipping cost and opened a claim with USPS for resolution. The people who work there are not only friendly, but go the extra mile to make their customers happy.
