**VEHICLE DAMAGED BY THIS CAR WASH. OWNER DID NOT REPAIR** On Friday, August 9th 2013, I brought my vehicle to the wash factory to have it washed. I paid for the $7 wash package and was instructed to pull forward towards the wash entry. Right before entering, there was a sign that stated "...any vehicle older than a certain age will not be covered for damages" as well as other stipulations regarding damage to a vehicle. After reading the sign, I looked around the pathway curious as to why this sign is by the wash entry instead of where you pay for the wash service. On this sign were no instructions on what to do if you did not want to proceed with the service and by looking at the layout of the wash, there was no exit once you were in line. So I proceeded, thinking that there was no way to exit without having every car reverse to let me out. Once at the entry, an employee guided me onto the wheel track and once my wheel was set I heard a small pop come from the drivers side of my vehicle. I figured it was just the tire setting into the track so I proceeded through the wash. Upon arriving home, I noticed the lower side skirt on my vehicle was protruding from the car and I instantly knew what happened. I went back to the wash and spoke with the manager. He took down my information after showing him the damage and told me someone would contact me within 48 hours. I did not hear from anyone until Monday, August 12th 2013. The called after I went by there and asked why no one contacted me. Within the next hour, Brad (owner) calls me and tells me that he could not see the damage done on the video and said that my car was probably involved in an accident due to it being an older model. I told him no, and did not understand how he could make such a statement with only knowing the year of my vehicle. I told him that the damage is an extremely inexpensive fix, which is why I could not understand why he continued to create wild accusations of why it happened when clearly the damage was a result of his car wash. I then asked him why was the sign that list vehicle age and etc. by the wash entry rather than the payment center and he said that hes only allowed a certain amount of signage due to city regulations. I asked him wouldnt it make more sense if you put the sign before people entered in the wash because at this point its too late for a person to exit the line once they see it. Brad then tells me that I could have asked a manager to allow me out of line, but I explained to him that there was no sign that gave you instructions on what to do if you do not agree with what they will and will not cover. In addition, the layout of the wash forces you to stay in line once youre in line so how is a consumer supposed to know what their options are if you dont list them. He did not have a response for this and told me to file a claim with my insurance company because he refuses to pay for the damage done by his establishment. I told him it is ridiculous that he treats customers in this manner and that he thinks less of any person not driving a brand new vehicle. He did not even offer a refund for the car wash package purchased.

My wife took my 2005 Subaru to this car wash before we left for an out-of-town trip. The brushes in the car wash broke the rear wiper blade off of my vehicle, even though it was taped down by the attendant. Brad (owner) told my wife that he has signs posted concerning damage to any vehicle 8+ years old negates liability for The Wash Factory. He told my wife that he would repair the damage even though my vehicle is a 2005. I finally was able to get in touch with Brad a few weeks afterward, to bring him a quote for the damage. I will admit that the quote I received from Huffines Subaru in Denton was very unprofessional (handwritten and didnt have a letterhead). Brad rejected it; which, I completely understand. I suggested that I get a quote from Caliber Collision on Elm St., and Brad agreed and mentioned that he uses them all the time. Brad called me after he got back from vacation, and left me a message. In the message he stated that he would be willing to honor the quote from Caliber Collision (I had dropped it off), and wanted to know if he could mail me a check for the amount on the quote to my address. Unfortunately, on the phone, Brad mispronounced my street name. I attempted to contact him afterward because I wanted to make sure that he had the correct address to send the check to. I left a message on The Wash Factorys answering service, asking Brad to please return my phone call as soon as possible. One week later I stopped by The Wash Factory on my lunch break, and left a note for Brad to call me. On the note I wrote that it was concerning the 2005 Subaru Outback with the broken rear wiper. Brad called me the next day and stated that he would not be able to pay to repair the damage because my vehicle was 8 years old, and he has multiple signs stating that his company isnt liable for the damage for this reason. I told him that he had told my wife that they had discussed that already, and that he had agreed to repair the vehicle. He repeated himself, and offered me a gift certificate to The Wash Factory, for my trouble. Brad did not honor the verbal agreement he entered into with my wife. I have yet to receive any gift voucher in the mail. Brad also has not returned my phone call from two weeks ago. From start to finish, this process has been going on for 2 months. ANYONE WHOSE VEHICLE IS DAMAGED BY THIS BUSINESS: Please be aware that regardless of signs that are posted attempting to negate liability on behalf of the business, the law is technically on your side. A sign attempting to negate responsibility for damage or theft doesnt mean anything unless the customer signs a Waiver of Liability. In my eye, Brad is not a man of his word and his customer service is severly lacking. I wont be using the services of The Wash Factory ever again, and I highly recommend that anyone reading this review be cautious.

I stopped in here today to get my SUV washed just as I have a few other times. However, today I was over charged on the automated machines that they use. As I pulled around to enter the car wash I told the girl attendant what had happened and she replied with "So do you want your money back?" I said to her yes, I dont feel that anything above and beyond the five dollar wash is worth the money. The girl then told me "Go ahead and go through and then pull back around and we will get it taken care of." After exiting I pulled around to the girl attendant, she motioned for me to hang on a minute while she was dealing with other customers. I parked my vehicle and walked over to the office where I was greeted by a guy who I assumed was the manager. He asked me if I was over charged and I said yes, then he proceeded to walk me over to their automated machines. Now standing in front of the machine, he pushed the button for the five dollar wash and asked if that is what I did. I reply yes it is, and then told him I hit the NO button to decline the three dollars in extras. He then tells me “No, you hit the yes button or you would not have been charged.” I say to him no, I hit the no button because I don’t feel that anything above the five dollar wash is worth it. He then said “No, you hit the yes button. I’m sorry, but now you know for the next time.” I then say to him so you’re not going to do anything for me about this? He then replied “Nope.” I then said well F*** you and proceeded to walk off. He then told me “I can’t talk to anyone that way and to leave the property.” As I am still walking away, I said some more foul words. He then says “I can’t believe you are arguing about three dollars, that won’t even buy a gallon of gas.” I again replied with more foul words while still walking back to my vehicle. After getting home and doing a little looking around, I found out the guy I was dealing with was the owner. I guess my three dollars meant more to Brad Mann today then all of my future car washes. Maybe I should not have popped off like I did, but it just goes to show that there are some business owners out there that simply don’t care.
