STOP !! ... going to anyone else for all your automotive needs. These guys are the best ! Joe, Mike, Kevin and Mr. Pedro are a class act. I recently inherited a 2001 Ram 1500 from my father, after his passing. While it was fine for an 88 year old man to drive to the corner store and to church, it was in no condition to drive on DFW highways. They have made major and minor repairs to the vehicle for less than half the cost of City Garage estimates. Mike has filled Joe’s shoes, (while he is out on a well deserved vacation), with excellence. They even threw in some additional repairs as a customer service ! I have been a customer of First Choice before they were First Choice. In 1989 they were Swami Auto in an old gas station where Taco Cabana is today. I worked down on Plano Road at the time. I moved to Oklahoma and now to Arlington and have been with First Choice the whole time. They have repaired 8 different vehicles of mine over the years, in addition to several other friends I have sent there. Not one complaint.

Found out about first choice through google LOL, it was at the last min and I had to find auto shop FAST because my brake lights came on, it smelt very strong and I the break pedals felt like it was more loose (no Bueno) so I was really praying that I will find a auto shop that is still open around 4, luckily I came across first choice. Both guys there at the front desk are truly honest, genuine, caring. I came in thinking that they will try to swindle me but I was so wrong they told me the situation about my car and fix it with no problem plus I did not hay to PAY much either, I will definitely be going back to first care Side note: that little paragraph at the bottom is a mistake, I am writing this review on my phone and as Im writing this its giving me problems lol Sorry! was wingin it at this point and praying that I will find as auto shop that is still open

I come here all the time for just about everything. Everyone is nice but the owner (I think, I could be wrong) an older guy who always sits in the front always takes care of me. Super nice, respectful and very knowledgeable about everything, he doesnt try to take advantage cause Im young and dont know anything about cars. My dealership told me I needed a new battery one time and I said no, let me check and see what he says first. He confined they tried to feed me bs and honestly he couldve said I did and took my money then and there. He told me a price so cheap one time he looked and couldnt believe he gave it to me that cheap. His brother is helping him now and hes nice as well. Very honest people and I never had to come back because something they fixed wasnt correct. Ive been coming here for years.

I love this auto repair shop! I am new to Dallas and went here based on a recommendation from a friend. The wait time was very reasonable for a walk-in, no appointment. The staff, Mike, Joe, and Kevin, were very professional, yet friendly and sociable. The technicians worked fast and completed an overall assessment beyond what I brought my car in for. The company of the other customers was even better as we made conversation during the wait. And lastly, if not most importantly, the price for my repairs was right. No gimmicks, no surprises, just plain honesty. Initially I had gone to a Toyota Dealership and they were going to charge be $130 just to diagnose the problem.... Im so glad I reconsidered and found First Choice Auto!

This location of business is exactly what it says it is FIRST CHOICE. I tried to go to a different shop for my car because it was "convenient" for me at the time and all I did was waste time, and received false information. I then went where I was supposed to go in the first place. Joe has been helping all of my family and friends for many many years but I had a honor to be helped by his brother Mike that did nothing less than what Joe would have done. Mike helped me out tremendously and stuck to his word and his plan. If youre looking for honest and trustworthy people with your auto works, Joe and Mike at First Choice Auto are definitely it!

Joe and his partner Mike are great to work with! For about 8 years, I worked primarily with Joe and he never steered me wrong with any of my car repairs. He has great communication skills and goes above and beyond explaining the situation at hand and options to get the problem fixed. Since bringing Mike into the mix, it has been a great experience as well. He is knowledgeable and courteous. Both guys show much concern and empathy to their customers. Pricing is always my main spotlight. Being a single parent, I am the queen of saving pennies. They offer value in their services. I appreciate you both, Joe and Mike!

This place is a first class auto repair shop Ive been living in dallas 3 yrs with 2 different vehicals a chevy and a lexus . They treat and repair them both with the same care. I Just Bought A New Car From A Car Lot And Ive Already Had Many Problems But I Found First Choice Auto Down The Street From My Home And Its Probably One Of The Best MECHANIC SHOPS. Mike Is A Great Person He Works With You And All The Employees Here Are Trustworthy And Honest. And They Make Sure Your Problems Are Solved Before You Leave. I accidentally came into this shop looking for help with my car... I saw a bunch of guys and immediately said theyre gonna rip me off cause Im a lady... Well its the opposite.. Theyre pretty cool, funny and provide more assistance than just taking your money... Mike is the balled guy lol hes f Great at customer service...then I met Joe looks like victor Newman from the young and restless... Anyway these guys know the business and educated me .. I was very pleased with the body work they done on my vehicle. They called me on everything they needed to do so I could come by and look before starting the job. They replaced my bumper, hood, front headlights, radiator, condensor, fan assembly. The total cost stayed the same when I dropped off my vehicle, no surprises when I picked up my vehicles. I would recommend this place. I was referred by coworker and started doing basic repairs like inspection. Staff is friendly and gives personalized service, not like another number. My car recently broke down/transmission. They guided me through process with minimal stress at a reasonable price. Best part is, my car drives like new! Only place I go and trust. Thx 1st choice
