I wrecked my BMW 128 this past June when someone turned left into me as I was going through a green light. My entire rear quarter panel and suspension were damaged. I did my due diligence in researching collision repair shops and I decided to choose Linear. Adam was very helpful throughout the entire process. My car was returned to me promptly, but after driving it for only 20 minutes, I realized there were several issues. Unfortunately, as I was driving it back because the back up sensors were not working, all the power in my car died as I was driving, including the blinkers and spedometer. Once I got it back to linear I noticed there was water in the rear tail light as well. Linear put me in another rental and I had my car back in a few days. A few weeks passed and my car failed inspection. I had some extra time to take my wheels off to check the repairs as well and thought it might be a good idea before I took my car back again. I noticed there was a crack in the rotor, the window panel was mounted incorrectly and my brake pad sensors were broken (I had bought the car less than a year prior and the brake pads were brand new). I took it back again, and Linear went above and beyond to make it right. They put new rotors and brake pads on each of the rear wheels. The reason I am goving them a 4 star review is because even though there were problems, they made it right and fixed my car no questions asked. Many mechanics might try to argue or claim that damage existed before the accident, but Linear truly cares about their customers. Adam was always kind, helpful, and caring. The only thing I would like to say is that I would not have minded if my car was in the shop for an extra week if it meant I wouldnt have had to take it back several times. Overall, I understand that mistakes do happen from time to time and I would like to thank the team and Adam for helping me get my car fixed and back on the road.

My 2006 Prius was a victim of the big hailstorm that tore up the Northwest DFW area in the beginning of April this year. We had just moved to a rental home in Plano from our previous one in Denton on April 1st, so we were already under a lot of stress from moving. The new place is much nicer, but quite a bit more expensive as well. During this tumultuous time, to keep a long story somewhat short--the Prius was still in Denton for a few days. Insurance was going to cover the damage--except for a relatively small deductible--but where to take the car? Not having any friends in the area to ask, I looked through Google reviews carefully and discovered Linear Automotive. Admittedly, I was a little leery about the wildly positive reviews at first. After all, Ive got first-hand experience being disappointed by products and services with rave reviews from sites like Amazon. Without much else to base my selection on, I took a shot in the dark and entrusted Linear with my car. What an incredible decision that turned out to be! Sully worked with me from start to finish, and there was never a doubt in my mind about the competence and quality of the work being done. Through all the chaos of getting settled into our new place, it was reassuring to know the car was in good hands. When I got it back, it had been washed outside, and dusted and vacuumed inside. Not to mention, during the repairs it was discovered that one of the headlamps was damaged, (which they filed with the insurance to get repaired as well) and so not only did we get a new headlamp out of the deal, but they also did an excellent job of cleaning up the other headlamp to make it less obvious that one was new and one was old. All in all, Ive never had such a good experience having anything done to any car Ive owned. No oil change, tire replacement, or other auto repair has been anything like this repair at Linear. Extremely highly recommended.

Let me start off by saying I am much more particular than 99% of car owners and I see flaws that most folks do not. I also do not typically write reviews. That being said, I had some damage done to my Corvette hood and front nose cover from a piece of metal on the highway. The car is 16 years old but has never seen rain or even really been out in the sun for more than a few hours at a time for weekend cruises. Needless to say, it was showroom condition before the “incident”. After speaking with a few body shops and not getting the feeling that they fully appreciated the condition of the car or how I would scrutinize the paint job, I stumbled upon Linear Automotive in Plano on Ave. K. Let me tell you, these guys (Joel and Sully) totally get it and I knew I had found my repair shop and they did not disappoint! Joel and Sully are exactly the kind of “car” guys you want working on your showroom condition cars, or any cars for that matter. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and CUSTOMER FOCUSED. These guys totally get the “It must be perfect” attitude I have. I got the car back this week on time and on budget and it was absolutely beautiful. It looks better than it did when it rolled out of the factory. The painter at Linear is a true artist with exceptional attention to detail. I wasn’t sure the color could be matched but it does absolutely perfectly. If you want your repairs done right, these are the guys to deal with. You will not be disappointed, I can assure you of that. Aside from the quality of their work, they are just really decent, honest guys (sadly, that can be hard to find these days). I cannot say enough about Linear Automotive. They restored my Vette to mint condition, hassle and worry free. I will be taking all of my vehicles there going forward for mechanical and body work.

Joel is as honest as the day is long and hes one of the few that if you dont know anything about a car, will actually explain things in a term you understand rather than using your lack of knowledge as a reason to screw you over. Ive seen a lot of shops that see the less you know about a vehicle in you the more chances they have to take advantage of you. Ive never had trouble referring someone who has zero knowledge of vehicles to Linear because I know the guys up at Linear are all hand picked by Joel, and Joel is not only honest, but hes a perfectionist too. Joel runs a tight ship and can get a car in and out quicker than any dealership Ive ever worked with and considering that the dealership stocks most parts and or can get them delivered quicker, Joel still manages to get you your car back quicker, cheaper, and deliver a higher quality of craftsmanship than many high end dealership run repair shops. Joels the only person that you can trust your vehicle to time and time again and never have to worry about shortcuts being taken or sub par parts being used. Its a tough world out there, with a lot of people who have no problems screwing you over for a buck. Joel will take money out of his own pocket before hell pass on a loss to someone because hes one of those few businessmen who realize that in the end, it all comes back to you.
