After a less than stellar experience with my 2010 Honda Fit Sport at well reviewed collision repair center by another name in Addison; my wife and I thought we would give this Caliber Collision an opportunity to replace her Mazda CX-5s front bumper. It was damaged in a hit and run while she was parked at work. Nice right? Upon entering Caliber we were greeted in a professional and friendly manner. Our service manager Ron Graffin got with us right away, surveyed the damage, explained to us their process and time frame, and sent us on our way feeling confident our Mazda was in good hands. Communication regarding the progress of our vehicle was excellent. We received both texts from Caliber and phone calls from Ron. We dropped the car off on Tuesday and it was done by Friday as promised. Great! Right? Not exactly. When picking up the car on Friday morning the car looked great at first glance. However, the mark of great workmanship is in the details. Upon closer inspection we noticed some paint had bled and dripped down onto the unpainted portion of the bumper in a few places. Also I was not thrilled with the color match of the bumper to the rest of the car. With a smile Ron explained to me that he and a shop full of skeptics felt that the color match was excellent. He further explained to me that even from the factory; plastic parts such as the bumper will present slightly less dark than the metal parts on the car. So I looked at the back bumper for a comparison and it seemed he had somewhat of a point. Fine. As for the the excess paint......with an even bigger smile Ron stated that sometimes on plastic bumpers paint will bleed through the tape and that not even factory paint jobs are perfect. Furthermore he insisted that it was a job he was proud of as a finished product and saw no issue with what we were pointing out and made no effort to remedy our concerns. Wow!!! Come on Man!!! Really?!! In what world is good enough an acceptable answer with regard to work done on anything you own? Let alone a car you work hard to pay for at a fairly substantial cost I might add. It was great to get the car back in four days but I would trade great workmanship over timeliness every time. Because we needed the car back and we were certain Ron wasnt willing to remedy our issues we reluctantly accepted it. Then, even though he was fully aware of our dissatisfaction as we parted ways, Ron jokingly asked us to lie and give Caliber Collision a positive review when their satisfaction survey was texted to us. Seriously?!! To summarize: the work completed by the body shop was less than excellent and Ron insistently sold us a substandard product as a great product without remorse. Please heed my warning and take your business elsewhere. It seems that their bottom line was more important than integrity, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. Shame on you Caliber Collision. Shame on you. FYI: I am a firm believer in accentuating the positive in life and I disliked writing this review immensely. With that said I felt I had an obligation to share the truth with you, my fellow citizens, so that you would not have to endure a similar experience. PEACE

Had to visit this shop on five (including initial drop off and final pick up) separate occasions to get my brand new car that was in an accident back to looking brand new again. This shop is absolutely incompetent. The first time I picked up my car they left a chip in the clear coat on the door. Once I picked it up again I noticed they left buffer trails in the paint on the hood, but I couldnt return until a couple of months later because I needed to travel. After I returned to have that fixed, I noticed the panel gap was on the passenger fender causing the door to rub on the fender (which was exacerbated by the fact that I had clear bra installed on the vehicle, but on an undamaged car that would not have caused the creaking sound and rubbing). When I brought my car in for the door rubbing on the fender, the service manager told me that I was exaggerating about the number of times I brought the car in, but I had the dates of each time I had visited the shop. I dont recommend this shop unless you dont mind lackluster quality or you like wasting your time. I was holding off on writing this review just in case I found yet another problem with the work they had done to my car. I wont be returning to Caliber Collision on the chance that all of them are like this one. I really want to give them two stars because the service manager seemed sincere in wanting to get the problem fixed each time I came in, but the final visit there and the reminder of the number of times I had to go back really leaves me feeling sour about the whole experience.

I do not usually right reviews, in fact this is my first, but I had such a great experience at Caliber Collision on Park in Plano I just have to share. The service I received was top notch. While my car was in the shop I received regular texts, with progress details, from Johnathan. These updates were much appreciated and let me know that my car was not just sitting, waiting to be worked on. When it was done I was given a “tour” of the work which looked great, like new. This was all great but what really impressed me was the customer service after we left. It turned out that because of a miscommunication between my daughter and I both sets of our house keys were left in the rental we returned… and we realized it after the shop had closed. Lucky for us Johnathan had given us his business card, that included his cell number, before we left. I called and explained the error and he was kind enough to hang out at the shop so we could pick them up. Never before I have I been so embarrassed and relieved at the same time. Needless to say if I ever find myself in a situation where my vehicle needs body work I will bring it to Johnathan and his team at Caliber. Great work on the vehicle and customer relations. Thanks again!

My son was in an accident on 5-27-17 while on the job. No one was injured, though the car was totaled. We had it towed to Caliber as wed used them several times in the past, always with good experiences. Unfortunately, we learned our insurance would not cover the damage, nor would our sons employer. The dispute lasted over a month, all of which time the vehicle sat on the lot at Caliber. Throughout this ordeal Calibers management was patient and helpful, even pointing us in the right direction to find a salvage service for the car. Everyone from the front desk (a delightful Addison), to the technician we worked with (Brian) to the manager (Jonathan) was great, as always. Its unusual to write a 5 star review for a body shop when we didnt even repair the car, but I want to give them credit for being 5 Start folks. I hope I wont need them in the near future, but they would be my go-to folks if I did!

My experience with this Caliber Collision shop was excellent from the initial estimate which I received within hours when the website said it would take 24-48 hours, to picking up my beautifully repaired and sparkling clean car! Frank Gonzalez was my service advisor and he was great. He was professional and took time to walk me through the process. I was kept informed about the progress of my repairs. In fact, Frank was out one day and one of his co-workers assumed the task of calling me to give me a progress update. Thats the kind of teamwork that results in excellent customer service. Mr. Jonathan Hegerty who is the manager is doing a great job. I have and will continue to recommend Caliber Collision and especially this location to friends and family.
