I used Stuarts toward the end of 2016 at the recommendation of the Porsche dealership in Plano after someone ran into my parked 911. While the body work done on the car was satisfactory, the communication provided by Donovan was poor and the delays were extensive. I was originally told 7 - 10 days for all the repairs - and purposely waited till the parts were in to drop the car because the other insurance company was providing a rental car while my car was being repaired. 7 - 10 days passes - nothing. 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks - after 6 weeks my car was ready. Absolutely unacceptable. Mind you, Im not getting phone calls about delays - Im having to call them and email to find out whats going on - part was wrong, delay - they are behind, delay - taking longer than they anticipated, delay and so on and so forth. I will also add - there was no added extensive damage that was found after they started on the car that would cause 10 days to turn into 6 weeks. If you take your car here you better hope you have a long-term transportation plan because you will need it. Additionally, while I cannot prove it - the person that ran into my car took a chunk out of the wall of one of my tires. One week to the day after I picked up my car there was a leak in that same tire. I took it to the dealership and magically, in that same tire - on the inside was a big chunk out of the wall of the tire. I cant prove they didnt replace the tire and turn it in - but I would know if I ran over something to the point that a large chunk was out of the wall of the tire.... I did not. Do yourself and go somewhere else if you want a timely quality repair to your car. I will add - I have no axe to grind with Stuarts. While the customer service was not acceptable in terms of accountability and being proactive, Donovan was always very pleasant and nice - never rude. I got the sense that they are completely overwhelmed. The body work itself was great - it was like it never happened but due to all of the above - I will never take my car there again.

I was rear ended 3 years ago, minor though expensive to repair. I noticed a spot of paint that came off the bumper about a year ago and wasnt too alarmed because it could have been a rock or something. Then I noticed other paint peeling from the bumper where it had been repaired. Upon closer inspection since I was thinking of trading or selling, it was pointed out to me that the bumper didnt fit right on the left and the left tail light actually doesnt match the right tail light. (The tail light is different on the side so its hard to pinpoint unless you are looking for it) I took it back to Stuarts. They are blaming it on Farmers Insurance because they wouldnt pay for a new bumper and of course Farmers is blaming them. I asked them last week to get it worked out since obviously I was never made whole and they seemed to both be at fault. I had at first taken the car back to Stuarts over a month ago and they said that the car shouldnt have left the shop that way and they arranged, I thought, a rental car and I had an appointment and everything but when I went to drop it off, Doug came out and the fingerpointing began. Thumbs down for Farmers Insurance and Stuarts. Very bad experience, service and quality of work. Still no resolution and a bad paint job, poorly fitted bumper, and mismatched tail light.

A large minor scrape to my drivers side of my 2006 Acura RSX happened September of last year. This car was my BABY. So after much reviewing and reading online and getting an estimate from Stuarts I took her there. They had her for SIX WEEKS. When I finally did get my car back the work was NOT up to par. The paint is soft and chips easy, even now. I had to take it back in FOUR times to have the door adjusted and RE-Adjusted, it wouldnt open at all, the door wasnt flush with the quarter panel, the latch wouldnt release. It was a mess, the door finally opens correctly and doesnt pop like it did when i took it in the THIRD time. My door now has a large gap between the door and the quarter panel which isnt spaced properly the length of the door. Jessica. Dont even get me started on her, poor customer service. (I believe she is gone now from what I understand). Stuarts never reimbursed me for a rental I had to have so they could hold on to my car and fix it the fourth and final time I took it in. Dont bother with this body shop, dont let the expensive cars out front and in the "show room" fool you, their work is SUB PAR. Look else where in the metroplex to have your car worked.

Had side intake scoops on 2006 Exige color matched to the rest of the car. Price was the same as what other shops closer to me estimated. However the difference was that the rep at Stuarts did not have a panic attack upon seeing my car. The big name shops were scared about color code availability and matching. The rep from Stuart just looked at it, gave me the price and said it would be no problem. Color and texture match was perfect. There was a couple small oversprays on the black mesh part of the intakes, but I can fix that myself so wasnt worried about it. They said it would take 3-4 days and on 4th day it was ready. My battery can only last 3 days if not charged, by the 4th day it wont start the car. When I picked up the car it was parked out front and I had to have it jumped to start. So I was glad they got it to it so promptly, but my only gripe was that it was left out front in the open. This is pretty normal for many body shops, but as this shop caters to "exotic" cars I feel that many of those owners would be more emotionally attached to their cars then those that go to big name body shops. I was satisfied and would use Stuarts Paint and Body again.

If I was smarter I would have read their reviews before I came here. These guys are straight up liars. If you have heard stories about the bad shops out there, well you aint seen nothin until you have really seen just how bad these guys are. But you can expect garbage parts from these guys. How would you feel if you were told that your car took 3 weeks longer than expected and then you go there and they give you a bill for 3 weeks of storage. Yep that is pretty shady if you asked me. Avoid this place. These guys are theives. After I had picked up the car i noticed my wiper blades were not working. I went in to have them fix it and they wanted another $300 after tehy looked at it they said the motor was going out They tried to charge me $80 just to look at the thing. So much for the warranty! Anyways i told them no way and then I took it to another place, the other guy said the bolt just needed to be tightened. They did it free. Then it was done. These guys trump up garbage jobs. Please do yourself a favor and dont come here.
