In short: terrible service, slow repairing time, multiple cars got theft incident and broken into DURING the repair process in their parking garage, without even a "sorry" said. Had a collision on February and after my insurance inspection I took my car to this place - hoping it was certified by Mercedes so the repair must be OK. However it took one entire month to fix the car, and the advisor showed very passive attitude on communicating the progress after I sent emails and messages for multiple times. And what is worse: they apparently kept no attention to customer properties at all. There had been a massive theft incident in their parking lot where many vehicles waiting repair got broken into. Some customers had lost valuable belongs in their cars, and my glove box lock was damaged when the suspect(s) was trying to open it. Until late next day I was notified by them and theyve got no idea on how they kept my key and why the suspect(s) can get into the cars so easily without breaking the doors. Lots of my personal belongings were gone, but their attitude is like "youve signed an agreement that theres no valuable stuff left and were not liable for those loss". They did not feel sorry at all. And when I asked if theres at least some policy report I can check and claim to my insurance, they began to push and fuzzy the fact on whos responsible! Theres no cameras on the parking lot for cars waiting repair, and the advisor refused to comment on their mechanism on how the keys should be retrieved and stored, and who should check if the cars are locked. The parking lot is like a junk yard wide open to everyone who wanna practice their car raid skills. Until the last day of my rental coverage I even started to beg them I really need the car. And I have to rush there before the end of the day on 5:50pm to return my rental. The car rental counter hosted by Enterprise is the only good service part in that building.

I had an accident in November 2012, the week before Thanksgiving. Fairly minor damage, but the bumper would need to be replaced. I could have sent the car to a number of shops, but I chose Park Place because they have the Lexus dealership and I felt like I would get superior service. Knowing the insurance "game" that all body shops play, I tried to be proactive and provide them prompt information while keeping tabs on the adjuster in order to avoid delays. First problem, it took them almost three days to call and acknowledge that they even had my car. When they did call, they talked about waiting for the insurance company to provide an estimate...the one I placed on the dash of the car! Two days later, the insurance adjuster called to let me know they asked for more money and that he approved it. About 5 days later, Park Place called and said they were waiting on approval for the additional funds. I informed them that I spoke to the adjust twice, and he had even sent the check out five days ago. Basically, this type of delayed communication, missed dates, and ineptitude continued for almost six weeks. I have had some experience with other body shops, and this was the worst by far. Your cost will be the same anywhere you go if its an insurance claim, so may as well go to a shop that has a good reputation. I made a bad decision and should have done my research. Avoid Park Place Bodywerks if at all possible.

Let me tell you, if you want a good job done you cannot expect to get your car back in one week. My first visit here was for my wifes Lexus IS250 that got a minor hit on the rear bumper. Nothing major, it just needed paint work mostly and some repair inside the bumper. Took them about 3 weeks but got the car looking brand new. Even got courtesy touch up and buffing done around the car. The Estimator/Advisor that helped us was Doug. 2 months later, I took my BMW X5M for a minor scratch on the front bumper. Luckily got Doug again. I wanted him to give me an estimate to fix, but he took a nice close look at it and told me it didnt really need much fixing. He took it to back into the shop and brought it back out with 90% of the scratches fixed. Basically he wiped off the paint that was on there from the pillar it got scratched on. I asked him how much it costs and he said nothing! Mind you, I took it to Classic BMW plano to get a quote and they told me it would cost me around $1200 minimum. Doug could have gave me an estimate and try to get some money out of me but instead he was straight up and honest with me and he fixed 90% of it for FREE! All I need now is some touch up paint. Thank you Doug! I appreciate your honesty.

I think they are trying harder now, but still some areas needing attention. Selected them after getting rear-ended in my 2015 Land Rover, only because Park Place owns the Land Rover dealership across the freeway and Land Rover has no body shop. I had read the negative reviews beforehand, so I was a little bit uncertain. Rear end damage was only to the bumper cover, underlying bumper panel, rear sensors, rear wheel mouldings and one scuffed wheel -- no body panel (metal) work/paint. They had the car for 17 calendar days, which seemed slow to me and to one of my insurance adjusters who commented to me. It was like "Monday - sending to paint", "Friday - In Paint, "Wednesday - Being Painted". I guess the worst part was delivery. Rear cargo mat was filthy and contained some small debris and then I noticed a small door ding on my passenger door that WAS NOT there before (I had taken photos before drop off). A body shop that doesnt protect from parking lot damage? They offered paintless repair on the ding, but I decided to live with it and move on. My rep was great - thanks Raul! And finally, yes, they did a fantastic job on the bumper repair and wheel scuff.

My Lexus was involved in a hit and run. I took it to my GEICO agent for charges to be assessed and they quoted $1500. They quoted with after market parts. I wanted to ensure my car would be repaired back to its original state. I decided to take my chances and find a collision center that was certified in Lexus. I found Park Place and made an appointment. I explained that I was paying my rental out of pocket and all of the above. They told me to bring it in and they would process as quick as possible. Doug was my contact and he was great. He kept me updated and answered any pending questions when I asked. The damage ended up being almost 3x as much as the original assessment. Doug and his team got GEICO to pay it all (minus my deductible). I was concerned after reading the reviews about the time it would take to fix especially with me not having rental coverage. I am happy to report that they fixed everything in 2 1/2 weeks. And really it only took them 7 days. The other 5 business days were waiting on my insurance to come out to reinspect. Thank you for fixing my car so it looks brand new again! And for being speedy with the best customer service Doug!
