I use to love bringing my car to this place.... that is until the management changes and the price to fix your car Sky rocket. They broke my drive shaft fixing another problem and expect me to pay for it... I will never be back with my car here again! Sad thing is I have to pay a lawyer to get some of my money I was over charged back.. I WOULD NOT EkVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BRING THEY CAR HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LEGALLY ROBBED........ almost 1400 to change 2 rear control arms and a drive shaft they broke trying to fix it..... didnt even offer to help pay for the damage they caused.... Im spending this all over Houston and will have Houston bike life surround the business in protest..... This place now sucks. ..bring the old owner and management back..... after weeks now I was promised by the owner next time he would take care of me so I didnt leave with a bad taste in my mouth.... well I just called to speak to him about fixing my truck and was told bring it somewhere else that they did not wanna work on my truck no more...so now I really feel robbed...dont make promises you cant keep because of the review I made....now you can talk to my lawyer since you not man enough to talk to me in person...... your business sucks....see you in court

First time visit AND...... This place was terrible, they guy who "greeted" me with an angry "wassup" was an @$$hole from the start and Ive never had more trouble trying to get an inspection done..... After telling him thats what I was there for he walked out of the office, returned to say they needed my insurance and keys and when I showed him my insurance on my phone he said that wouldnt work and that they only take insurance if its faxed from the company(??????) when I told him thats what I had he said they would do but they would need to take my phone because they need info from my insurance I had pulled up(again what??? But sure, np if thats what it takes to get my car inspected) the guy walks out again without saying anything else....comes back a few minutes later to ask if I have my insurance and I said "yeah its on my phone and Ive already shown it to you" he said "that dont work, we cant do that" and very nicely greeted and began helping the person behind me So I left and went to the pep boys on gessner and westheimer where they had no problem with my insurance on my phone(didnt need any additional info from it) and did my inspection in less than 20 minutes The owner of this place needs to seriously evaluate the employees

If it was possible to have 7 star rating this place earned it easily. I have a older classic car which requires special attention David Murff who works there went above and beyond the call to get my car running perfect. He spent time I MEAN TIME to locate the exact parts to fix the problem. The car took over a week of hunting and team work to diagnose and fix my special car. This could have been a complicated near impossible way to fix , but the honesty, time, effort David and his team did can be put in mechanical hours. I over heard one day when I was checking up on an update and I heard the team at the shop has breakfast together. NOW that is a a team /family. I will use this location, these technicians even if its a 20 mile drive and that is no bull (**&&^%^ !!!!!!... If you want to get great work done with honesty and passion. Look no where else. I have posted great as well as bad reviews because its the consumer that needs to read and base a decision on to use a particular company. This is by far the best review...........I am willing to bet that many of us have had bad, expensive, over priced , mechanic shops....Put your fears to rest with David and This mechanic shop !!!

THEY LEFT MY RADIATOR CAP OFF!!!!!! I came here because the reviews were so high. Went in to get an estimate and after waiting an hour for pricing I had to leave. When I got home I noticed my car was acting funny. I popped the hood to find they didnt put my radiator cap back on!!! Thats not even a rookie mistake. Its just plain unprofessional! Im glad I noticed it Because its my only car. When I called them later they came out and brought fluids and another Cap. At this point I was desperate since I had spent my only day off dealing with them the day before,I decided to use them for the original work. I also assumed they would want timage it right. They said they would call that day; they didnt. When I went to get my estimate(they never gave me it the first day) the price was over$700 more! The manager Abel was rude and just down right nasty over the phone. The only answer I got was " I said sorry about your radiator cap. I could of just left you,your husband, and your baby stranded on the side of the road" Wow! Great customer service! Its places/people like that who ruin it for other honest mechanics. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

I have worked on cars myself as long as i can remember. I do not like to pay others for what I can do myself. It just so happened that i bought an old accord in working condition, shortly after the fuel pump broke and i did not have the time to fix it myself. I called McDaniels because they where close by, and i have to say it was a great decision. They came and picked my car up within an hour, fixed my fuel pump the very next day, and at a very good price! They did not try to up sell me, or tell me my brakes where shot, or any shady practices that you hear about in the automotive industry. They even had the courtesy to hold my vehicle for a whole week due to my work schedule. These are very respectable mechanics, and honest people, and i would drive as far as it took to have them service my vehicle if i ever needed it again. Really great job guys, and keep up the good work! -John S.

Theses reviews are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT when it comes to over pricing NO LIE!!! My husband came to this location getting a diagnosis done on his vehicle which cost him $130. They told him what the problem was and a total cost , which didnt sound far about right to me(as a woman). A total rip off,they are. What Machanic goes down on prices when you certain of the problem? Or even ask "what can you pay?" And then states "just give me cash!" So I done some research of my own. When they do these types of things its a sign of money hunger. They were charging him hundreds of dollars more for the part (called the dealership) and who knows for the labor. And last but not least had the nerve to constantly call his phone repeatedly to convince him to come in so they can do the job. Go to this place if you want to ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!! #Shady

I came in on August 8 to get my A/C checked and my door handle to get replaced. I didnt get my A/C repaired but I did prepay to get my door handle fixed. They called me in on the 10th letting me know the part was in. I left work early to get it done. When I get there, one of the mechanics that works there told me he thinks one of the guys ordered the wrong part. I call today (8/13/2016) to see if they have gotten the part, and "David" stated he had to go to the dealership and get the part.Today is August 18th and my car has gotten repaired. The guys were very apologetic and offered compensation for the inconvenience. For a mechanic shop to actually care about their customers I will be coming back. Thanks guys for the help and I understand sometimes there are hiccups on the road. Thanks!
