Took over a week for my repair. Heads were cracked, after repaired they said I needed a sensor. I picked up the truck and the timing was so off it was hard to keep it running. I asked the owner if the truck had been started and he said not by me and pointed at his mech. I was then told my wires were bad. Again I headed for home only to get a check engine light. Then it was the O2 sensor. My son headed to college only to call about half way and had lost all oil pressure. I took it back and they said it was the oil pump. I drove it to the nearest shop and was told I should get a whole new engine. They said they would not recommend doing the heads on a truck that had 137K. I had them get a salvaged engine and replaced it where we found the (bad) sensor resting on the motor mounts. The exhaust was held together by carridge bolts and washers for spacers. Spartans please stay away Google I tried to give the lowest rating but it just comes up 5 star. I do not wish to give any star

This auto care place first did my car inspection a couple of months ago. They did the inspection promptly; I did not have to wait. They did my oil change last week and did it promptly also. This morning I came in because the "low coolant light came on. The low coolant was low and they added the correct amount immediately. While I was waiting the few minutes to have the coolant added, I talked with another customer and we discussed how much we love this auto care facility. She told me she had had several estimates on a previous problem she had had with another car. Some of the other estimates were as much as $1100.00. Practical Auto Care said there was only something loose and there was no work required to resolve her car problem. We both discussed how honest and skilled this place is. Come here for an estimate before you have the work some place else.

This mechanic shop is awsome. It is the place I needed for years. I was always wooried about taking my Lexus to mechanic shops other than the dealership and the price was always very costly. Now, I have practical Auto Care who I trust and depend on every time I need repairs done on my Lexus. Jamal( Master Mechanic) always had a smile on his face which made me feel very welcome and appreciated. He always worked with my troubled financial situation and helpped me several times when I was down. I give this business five stars for their excellent customer service and ffordable prices. $14.99 oil change; where else you can find such a deal. Not only that but their labor hour rate is very legit and practical. Really, the name of the business reflects its attitude and philosiphy.

I am a native Texan living in the Memorial area of Houston, Texas and for eight years I have done business with Practical Auto Care located at 714 Tully St @ Memorial Drive. I refuse to have my car serviced at a dealership because I find the work at dealerships to be over priced and many times unnecessary. If you are looking for honesty, good prices and competent highly trained mechanics Practical Auto Care is the place to go. That is why many single women in my neighborhood choose Practical Auto Care for complete automobile maintenance needs. Customers are treated with respect and work is completed in a timely manner.

I went to this auto shop after seeing all the great reviews online. These reviews have proven to be true to the quality of service and attention they gave me. I brought my car in to have my oil changed and asked them to fix an electrical issue with my rear licence plate light and they did a great job in getting done what I needed to get done in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this place! I suggest to just go in and have them check out your car if you have any issues. You will have peace of mind knowing that a trustworthy technician is fixing your car.

These guys did an excellent job fixing the body work on my 2007 Lincoln MKZ. I was devastated when somebody backed into the car cracking the rear quarter panel. The repairs took longer then planned - mike told me he was not happy with the first fix and sent the car back to have them do it again. The car came out looking perfect - couldn`t tell anything had ever happened. Great customer service, highly recommended.

We recently went to NTB for an oil change and in the process they did their "inspection" which caused us not to be able to get the caliber off to do the front breaks. NTB refused to fix it and we had already purchased the breaks, we came here and they were more than willing to put on the breaks for us and for a reasonable price too.

Theyre thorough, and they always take the time to explain to me the technical details of whats screwing up my car.
