Brought car in with 2 problems. Short version - poor communication, 3 days no car, cost $650, told "we forgot to overnight parts for repair", STILL HAVE same problems. Long version - After 6 hours of no communication I called to check on their diagnosis. They relayed the repair needed and gave an estimate on the 2 repairs. I call back in another 2 days to make sure I can pick up the car when they open the next morning and am told "One repair is done, BUT it seems we forgot to overnight the other parts for repair, Im sorry". Its been 3 days, I need my car back and can schedule the one repair later so I pick the car up when they open the next day. After I pick up the car and get about 3 miles way, the problem is still there! I go back and they diagnose a new problem. So either they misdiagnosed it or the service writer was too busy to relay correct information from the technician to me. As for the second problem (they literally had a big red flashing sign in the dash telling them what was wrong) they forgot to mail the parts off to be repaired. So no car for 3 days and problems not fixed and Im out $650. I would say their labor and part prices are 30% high.

Ive owned my 2006 SAAB 95 since new. Viking is by far the best shop that I have ever taken my SAAB to. I was sold after my first experience - I was seeking a second opinion on something that a GM dealer had diagnosed. The diagnosis called for a new computer module and parts and labor were going to be circa $2,000.00. Viking took it in and fixed the issue with the change of a tail-light bulb for something like $20.00. Next was my horn issue (a lingering issue since it was new). The car had been into GM for service and they had spent lots of money (under warranty) trying to fix it. The issue persisted (the horn only worked when it felt like it). It took a number of attempts to diagnose the issue, but Viking persisted and diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts and I have had no issues for the past 2 years. I cant say enough - theyre competent and honest and they really care about their customers.

On 10/7/15 I brought my 08 Saab Aero Convertible in for service bcuz the check engine light was on and the airbag malfunction light was on. Jonathan and his techs put the car on the machine immediately after I arrived in less than 1.5 hours they had repaired the problems and informed me of what was wrong. I have always trusted them with my Saab and my Volvo service repair and will continue to support them. Best Saab/Volvo techs in Houston metro area. Its worth the drive to have Viking repair your Saab or Volvo as I travel from The Woodlands to Spring Branch to have them repair my Saab. Excellent service, great prices, great atmosphere and trustworthy people. Thanks Viking!

I have been bringing my Volvo here for 3 years and always received excellent and fair treatment. Recently I replaced my Volvo with a Saab SUV which I purchased from Viking. About 4 weeks after I took possession I had an issue with a coolant leak, so I took it in. Turned out the culprit was the water pump and it needed to be replaced. I fully expected to have to pay for the repair, but Jonathan took 50% of the total cost. I felt this was EXTREMELY generous. This reinforces the honesty and professionalism of this company. I have recommended Viking in the past and obviously, will continue to recommend them in the future.

My 2003 saab needed an ECM, I had one used piece, and I towed the car and also gave the used ECM that I had no idea if works or not. They called the very next day and said they were able to program the used one and all set to go. The price was very good-programming and synthetic oil change. They also said my seat belt is not retracting and needs replaced--an important safety issue. They could have easily told me that the car needs a brand new ECM and sold one and I would not have known. My entire experience was impressive. Remarkable service.

We needed someone to quickly to reset airbag light on dash after a failed attempt at installing a navigation system. I called Viking automotive first thing on Saturday morning, because they were the only place open, and they said to bring it right in. Got it in. Got it fixed. Didnt try to gouge us on price. Very knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and priced right. Couldnt ask for a better place to bring our sons 2004 Volvo XC90!

Viking Automotive rates more than five stars for their customer service! Ive taken my Saab to them since the opening of their shop, and trust them to be honest about my car repair and maintenance. When my brakes pads were wearing out, they said I could wait until my next oil change was due and gave me the signs so that I would know if I needed to come in before then.
