I have been using Mc Intyre Auto for over 2 years now. I am a single female and I have owned several older vehicles. When I moved to Houston I prayed to find an honest mechanic I could trust and I believe my prayers were answered. Dan has helped me keep my older vehicles in good running condition. He is very good at quoting an estimate before doing anywork (they also tell me what is absolutely necessay and what can wait when I need to budget for larger repairs). Prices are competitive. Unless parts need to be shipped in I have been able to get my vehicle back the same day. Excellent sevice. Very honest.

I have had 3 different vehicles worked on at this shop. Ive never had a bad experience. I went in one time with what I thought for sure was an air conditioner problem and I told them as much. I was bracing myself for a hefty bill. Imagine my surprise when they called and said it was nothing more than a faulty fan. They had it back up and running the same day and the cost was far less than I was expecting. They have earned a loyal customer over the past year and I feel confident recommending them to others.

Our experience with this car shop: 1. Got overcharged for the part (invoice price was twice as much as the part actually costs) 2. Had to bring the car back because the alarm system was not working after the service at that place. Also, the hood was not closing. Besides that, be aware that McIntyre Automotive has a constant flow of car mechanics, nobody stays there employed for long. This was not the first but definitely the last time we brought our cars to that place.

He kept my vehicle for one and a half years, it ran 1 day, kept it for another year and a half, left the radiator hose loose and it burned up. All that was wrong with it the whole time was the coils were bad, but he tore the engine apart twice. Dont even think about going here.

I have had this shop work on several of my vehicles over the years. They always do a good job at a reasonable price. I appreciate them letting me supply my own parts. If I were to move to a different part of town I would still bring my cars to this shop for mechanic work.
