My review initially had been conditional because the car, a used 2012, was still being brought up to Kia pre-certified quality. My review is no longer conditional. What follows is what was written before with a few changes and new ending. I just purchased a used car from Moritz Kia, one which fit my budget. My brother, who is more aggressive than I, did much of the initial leg work so it still helps to have someone strong; I am more timid in this sort of matter. It took a week to prepare my car, which is fine. The updating/cleaning, etc. of my car was very good, but still an A- because there was trash in the glove department, some specks of others colors of paints on different parts of the body, but these are minor points, not enough for me to drive back to the dealership. Still, I must say that I was very pleased with the friendliness, thoroughness, patience, and professionalism. I particularly single out Deme Chambers. I worked with him. He was great, and so many thanks you cards in the corner of his office also showed that others had had the same experience. He also arranged a loaner car for me until my car was in ready-condition and then had everything ready when my car, the 2012, had been prepared. I would gladly work with him again.. Moritz Kia also has a special and excellent lifetime power-train warranty although it would be much better if all the Kia dealerships had a master data base so that any Kia Dealership could see the terms of the warranty of any car from any such dealership without an additional phone call having to be made. Two final points: 1) If you find a car at Moritz Kia in your price range, try to work with Deme Chambers; he is excellent. 2) Because of the clean-up as I have looked more closely and the database issue, I can not give the whole experience an A+, but it is very close with something like a 98%. *Two weeks after my purchase, there was a small problem that was not covered under any warranty. How it occurred is unknown, but Deme Chambers again took care of everything. I so strongly recommend him. Moritz Kia, good in and of itself, has a jewel of an employ in him.

If I could afford it, Id gladly lease a billboard to sing the praises of Moritz/Kia in Hurst, Tx! I wanted to trade my two-seater Mercedes convertible for something that provided enough room for my 3 Cocker Spaniels. My husband did the on-line research, calling the dealers about a specific car and asking for details. We then visited the best prospects. The majority of those visits were like surreal trips to hell and back! We looked at "very clean" cars that had dents and scratches. We looked at one beautiful car, only to learn the dealer "forgot" to tell us it was a salvage. And much, much more. I was ready to give up, and just continue stuffing the Cockers into the Mercedes. Then, my husband found another car on the Internet. He called and spoke at length with Michael Hensley. We sent pictures of the Mercedes. Michael made a solid, acceptable offer over the phone. We drove to Hurst to the Moritz/Kia dealership. Michael was on the telephone, so we were greeted and taken inside by Waymon Patterson. The manager came by, introduced himself, sat down and talked Corvettes, which are my husbands passion. The car was brought around in just a few minutes, a 2007 Hyundai Tiburon. It was perfect, without the slightest blemish. Michael came out and we took a test drive. It handled beautifully and I wanted it. We sat down in Waymons cubicle and he said, "Youve already done the deal over the phone with Michael so theres really nothing else to do." They never deviated from the numbers discussed over the telephone. We were taken to another office for the paperwork, signing at the "orange dots," and it was done. We were there for maybe 1 1/2-hours but half of that time was spent in very pleasant conversation. These guys were courteous, professional, personable, friendly without pressure. It was a completely positive experience and Ive already recommended them to my neighbor. Oh............I love the car!

In a word, horrible! On Saturday a salesman effectively sold me a car and I was told he would hold the keys until I could return on Tuesday to conclude my purchase. I was so excited I returned Monday night to buy it and learned it had been sold by someone else! The salesperson and the used car sales manager failed to find anything else that would work for me that night. Bitterly disappointed, I contacted the GM, Mr. Ducote, the next day to tell him what had happened and ask him to try to make it right. He tripped all over himself apologizing and promised he would find something for me. He also said Kyle would be in touch with me shortly to discuss my needs once they figured out what else they had on the lot in my price range. Kyle never called. Several hours later, I called Mr. Ducote to ask why I hadnt heard from anyone and was told that Kyle had called and told me about 3 or 4 cars they wanted me to look at. Negative. No call ever came in to my phone. He asked me to hold for a minute while he talked to Kyle. During that hold, the line went dead. I waited and got no call, so I finally called him back and he said he would have Kyle call me. At this point I was at another dealership buying a car, but Moritzs lifetime warranty on used cars was so enticing I was willing to give them one more try. Again, no call from Kyle ever came.Mr. Ducote HAD my phone number and had called me, so it wasnt that they had a wrong number. No. Kyle just never got around to calling me and Mr. Ducote (Matt) never followed through to make sure he had. This is beyond pathetic performance all the way around for any dealership, much less one that holds *itself* in such high esteem! This is a disgrace and the kind of lousy behavior that has given all used car salesmen a bad name. I wouldnt recommend this dealership even to my worst enemy.

Best Experience at a car dealership! After a horrible experience earlier this week at a nearby competitor, I did a search for the top recommended dealerships in the area and Moritz Kia came up as #1. Of course I was skeptical, I thought maybe a bunch of employees wrote positive reviews to make themselves look good. This was definitely not the case, to save some time I submitted an online application the night before and Tyler called me the very next day to let me know they had received it and wanted me to come in for a look see. Not expecting much I went in and asked for Tyler, he introduced himself and welcomed me to Moritz, then introduced me to Bart (my car salesman). The rest was a cake walk. Bart spent about 2 hours with me, showing me 4 different cars, going over features, test driving, etc.. I was very indecisive, he was very helpful and very knowledgeable. Not once was he pushy, or rude, he was very courteous and respectful of my needs and what I was looking for. I decided on a Kia Soul (+). He then turned me over to Amir in the financing department, who was also very helpful in getting me the right financing. Once all the ts were crossed and all the is were dotted, it was go time. I appreciate all of the effort put forth to getting me into a new car that I wanted and liked. Good credit, bad credit, no credit, No Problem. These guys know their stuff and will work with you to get to a comfortable monthly payment you can afford and that will fit into your budget. I will recommend everyone I know looking for a new or used car to Moritz Kia. My experience there was awesome! Ask for Bart and hell take care of you. They really do care, and it makes a world of difference. Thank You Bart and everyone at Moritz Kia! I love my new Soul! -Oscar
