This company is the spawn of satan. Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with and not just this location. I purchased my service from this location (the fastest internet package) and even asked the desk lady if I was getting the correct router for this speed of internet (300mbps in my area). She assured me it was correct. After setting up my router I was receiving a steady average of around 4 mbps, yes 4, turns out I was sold the wrong router. I had to call TWCs awful customer service line where nobody seemed to speak understandable English. I was sent a replacement router that was supposed to be correct; and while it was different, it was defective when broadcasting wi-fi (half the speed of the wired internet connection). After calling yet again I was told a technician was being sent out to replace the faulty router. A technician was sent 3 days later and he was excellent (because he didnt work for TWC and was contracted to them instead he told me). I was finally happy until I got my bill and discovered I had been charged $29.99 for the technician to replace the faulty router sent to me by TWC! Yet again another call to customer service where I eventually had the $29.99 charge removed. And lets not even get started on the 4+ hours of being on hold, transferred between departments, and told the wrong things with their "customer service" department. This company is only in business because there are little to no competitors in many areas where they operate. Pathetic.

The absolute WORST customer service i have ever come across. No one seems to know what they are doing or what anyone else in the company is doing. I was originally quoted about $160 for my bill which includes tax (i made sure to ask specifically and was given an exact total). But they forgot my 2nd DVR in the work order and the installation took over an hour because the idiot girl who took the order, set it up all wrong. I paid the guy $163 anyways and he confirmed for me the amount 3 times. 6 hours later my movie channels were still not working ( he told me to give it a few hours to set the signals). I called and they said that it wasnt set up to receive the movie signals. So i wasted more time on the phone. I then get a letter less than a week and a 1/2 later telling me i owe $203. I called and asked why since i just paid 160. They told me that my balance was at zero and to not worry about it and just toss the letter. but they told me my balance is actually 180 a month. Again that first girl told me something wrong about the packages i selected. whatever so i agreed to that because really theres not a whole lot i can do about it. TODAY i get a call telling me that I am past due $223 on my account and to pay it immediately. And every time ive called in, there is some automated system telling me a different amount to pay. Needless to say im going to have to take care of this in person.

I have been with many different services including TCW in the past, but in the last 2 years they have bombed out. They are Terrible! yes that bad. Internet is totally unstable. constantly goes up and down. (they need to replace the main nodes and cable lines that are over 20 yrs old on the entire area) speeds are terrible. they have it setup where if you hit a speed site it shows good speed, but if you run some independent tests you will find after a couple of minutes they start throttling your speed rates down to 1/10th of what your supposed to have if your lucky. Here is the killer. I decided to cancel. The lade I was trying to cancel with refused to cancel and refused to close the account. I have called 3 times and 3 times spoken to different managers and reps. all say yes my account should have been closed and I should not be responsible for another month of service. they now sent my account to their internal collections and are still trying to force an extra month of service out of me. I will be contacting the BBB on the main corporate to ensure the right place gets tagged. and the Texas utilities commission over fraud they are doing. still have not resoled my issue. I highly recommend you stay away from then unless you like torturing yourself similar to putting your finger into a meat grinder. Yea, its that bad....

They promise a $300 gift card, but they don’t tell you “the catch”, until you get your surprisingly high first bill. I was a previous TWC customer then we moved and the only provider in the area was TWC and another satellite company. So I had no choice then to come back to TWC, and even though I had this company and wasnt happy before but yet decided to give them a 2nd chance....I still didn’t qualify for the gift card, so I was pretty upset. The real catch is that you have to take time away from your busy schedule to send them a copy of your previous cable/internet provider, on top of that you have to be consistent and on good standing with them for 3 consecutive month, which fine but why can’t they explain that when you first get the service, or on their propaganda (seems pretty false advertising to me). Second, this company charges $3.95 for the Internet Modem and additional $4.96 for Home Wi-Fi, $10 for High Definition DVR AND $13.00 for the DVR Service…so you end up paying $22 more plus taxes a little too much then what was initially explained...I have decided to never comeback to TWC and next time I move I will definitely make sure I have a variety of cable/internet providers.

I hope the one-star viewers will read this. TWC deserves 3-stars and didnt want to give them a 1-star grade to have more viewers. One viewer seemed to feel the lower ratings had more value. I listened to a smooth-talking salesman from Verizon who assured me that I didnt need any set top boxes to receive VZ TV. That is true for some TVs and for three of the five in our house. Two would have to be replaced to work with Verizon. One with a Verizon set top box was excellent. .Another TV with a small set-top box received most channels we wanted. The fifth in the kitchen had only basic channels. We didnt want black wires leading up to the flat-screen but that would require more work to paint and install a cover over the wiring. Not to mention the rental cost of five boxes. Three days later we had service restored to TWC and are happy. One exception; I cant switch CC off, even after trying for 2+ hours. Will go to TWC store with remote to get some help. I disagree that Verizon is less expensive than TWC. It depends on what you want, how many TVs you have, and how long you have had the service.

Pure garbage internet service provider. I pay for 100 meg service. Do I EVER receive 100 meg connection? NOPE! I wish I could upload a photo. On numerous occasions, I have clocked my speeds to be lower than 1 meg. HOW CAN THIS EVEN BE POSSIBLE WHEN YOU PAY FOR 100 MEG SERVICE!?!?!? I live in a small apartment with no more than 2-3 devices connected, ever. Usually only 1 running at any given time. This is not a once every now and again happening. This is a daily occurrence. When you call customer service, they tell you to power down, power up--Im a mf millennial--you dont think I tried that already? When it doesnt solve the problem, they tell you theres a known network issue. Garbage company. Complete garbage. I am honestly willing onto break my apartment lease to move to a residence that has a consistent internet connection. I used to have Uverse 12 meg and I NEVER had a problem. How can I possibly be paying for more than 8x the bandwidth but it be mostly unusable. HIGHLY UNSATISFIED!
