I gave 1 star because there was not an option of giving a lower rating. About 4-5 years ago I had their service. I wanted to disconnect service because I was moving. They said they could not disconnect service until I returned the equipment, which I did (Waxahachie, Texas office), and paid my final bill at that time. Now, I find they have turned the account over to collections for non payment? It is now a derogatory mark on my credit because they dont keep good records. Plus, they want me to pay again? Of course I dont have the receipt because Ive moved several times since :( I called them and they have no record of me ever having an account. Interesting. They will not provide me with documentation stating they show no account info for me.

Worst television experience I have ever had in a cable/television provider. Reboots constantly, unable to select channels without it scrolling past the channels, and drops audio. Finding anything on their interface is next to impossible, and when you add that all up with charges they never disclosed when I signed-up and internet service that is also spotty, I would say they deserve zero stars - but selecting that is not an option. Definitely not a surprise that they are now Time Warner - one of the most universally despised companies in the country. Oh, and customer service on their toll-free number is not only slow, but rude. Skip this company.

The price of internet with HD digital cable channels are very good for what you are getting. And their customer service cant be beat. They are the best company and most polite people Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Once a month I personally go into the office to pay my bill because the lady that works in there is the biggest delight Ive been around in decades. I love her enthusiastic behavior and her precious smile. I will continue to go into the office to pay my bill until she retires. This company is the best.

Cant go lower than one star or i would. The people you have to deal with are complete assholes. Every time you have to call in you get talked down to. They dont care what you have to say. Hidden charges on every bill. This place has such a lack communication with all their employees. Its a different story every time you call.. i cant beleive this is the only internet provider here... oh and the best part it doesnt matter how much of a loyal customer you are charter does not care.
