Just look at the reviews! People obviously have a problem with this service, and the company is doing nothing about it. The consumers have no other option and this company is just completely taking advantage of them. My wife and I had our account deactivated because someone used our address to start a new account. When I called, I was told I cannot go back to the contract I had with Time Warner because Time Warner is now Spectrum. We were paying $30.57 a month due to a promotion and the customer service said they could not honor that price anymore because they no longer offer that package. When I asked how the stranger used our address, customer service replied "they showed proof". What proof could they have shown?! My wife and I still live here and will be for another 6 months! Spectrum said there was no way to go back to the price. The first rep we talked to had no answers for me and just continued to set me up with a new contract. The second rep still could not answer our questions. For any customers who were under a contract with Time Warner, beware that you dont also get your account deactivated. Unfortunately, this is our only option in the area so its not like this company cares about their customers anyway. I will say this, tech support was really good and took care of us. However, what a messed up thing to do and not help your customer out.

They blatantly lie, saying they provide for 60mb/s service, only to throttle it and claim its not available for your area. Complete bullshit. I made sure to check if it was specifically our address that had the service available, and they claimed that they did. As soon as we got it installed, it never exceeded 20mb/s. When I asked the installer about it and he said it would "take a while" and would speed up. Im realizing now that was an obvious lie. They come up with lie, after lie, after lie to convince you it was a mistake. EDIT: They recently upgraded the speed in my area, so it seems up to par at the moment which is good. Hopefully this wont have negative consequences like a change in monthly charges.

By far the worst internet provider paired with the worst customer service. Even dail up has more reliable internet. Called for a tech to come fix my internet isssue. Untrained kid comes to my home 10 mins late and tells me he cant do anything to help me. Cant look at any of my "non spectrum" router and modem because he is untrain to do so. Absolutely disgusting what they are getting away with. Im paying 70$ a month for a service that disconnects every 30mins.

Spectrum Cable is the worst!! I have been on the phone with them ALL day trying to get a technician out that I scheduled three days ago. Either their tecnicians are illiterate or they hire incompetent people to submit requests. Their supervisors are rude and have NO Customer service skills. I ordered new service. Installation fee was $50, which was cool. So my total price for service and installation was suppose to be $180, which was cool also. So once they arrived, the techs said my bill was $800. I called in and they said oh, you have special installation needed. So I advise everyone to stay away from these crooks (Spectrum). I sucked up my pride and went back to ATT.

Terrible! I had Charter and since Spectrum took over my bills go up almost every month then theres usually some random fees as well. I only use Internet which works pretty good but way to expensive and too sneaky with raising bills and extra fees. Find another company would be my advice!

Charter has the worst customer reps! They are useless & very unprofessional. They can never get a supervisor for you & dont offer ways to help you. They lack quality customer service skills & would not recommend anyone use this company.
