After reading the 4 prior reviews, I wasnt sure whether I wanted to bring my car in to them or not. I opted to go with Brake Check first (just across the freeway from Just Brakes). Unfortunately, I had to wait almost 10 minutes to even get to speak with someone at Brake Check, then when I did speak to them they told me I would be waiting at least an hour and a half. No thanks! I went over to Just Brakes and was greeted by (forgot his name) a Rep. I told him what I needed and asked what they charged. He told me $99.95 and I said "per axle?" and he said "nope, thats for all of it." So then I asked about a Brake Flush and he said that was $39 (something I cant remember). I asked about the warranty for their work, he told me its 12K miles or 12 months, whichever is first; except the shoes - warranty is for life. I said "ok, how long will it take to do the work?" He told me "we can get you in right now." Great!! After speaking with the guys for a little, the main tech came in and said that this was the part where I was going to start not liking him. I knew what was coming! (My car is over 100K miles and Ive never had anything serviced except the oil/oil filter). He explained the brake parts to me, and how the parts work as a system. Then showed me the specific pieces on my car that needed work. I smiled and nodded, knowing this was going to cost a fortune (previously was quoted by Nissan dealership so I knew what to expect, approximately). Got the pricing back from the guys and it was still less than what Nissan wanted to charge just for the brakes (239.99 per axle)! I asked about the warranty for rebuilt calipers, and again was told 12K/12 months. Not bad. Plus they threw in the air filter replacement and labor because I said I could get that done by my dad for free! Oh - also, this happened at 12:45 PM and I said I could only have the calipers rebuilt if they could have me out of there by 2:20 PM at latest so I could pick up my kids. They pulled all their guys off other work so they could tackle my car and get me out ahead of time! Excellent customer service, I highly recommend! I also recommend having an idea of what youre going to need when you go to any car service/repair shop. Especially if you are a female (and I am).

We went here simply because our lives are very busy right now and I do not have time to change brakes. I walked in and told them we are not keeping the car for more than a year and just want the basic $89.95 front brake job. Joshua the manager said OK. 2 hours later I receive a call from him almost in a panic telling me how horrible my brakes were. I was told the rotors were beyond any hope and had to be replaced, the calipers and pistons were corroded and shot, and the brake pads were completely gone. He said the minimum he could touch if for was $400.00. I came and got the car knowing this was all lies. All these parts were replaced less than 2 years ago and there was no way it was that bad. I stopped and bought some pads at Advanced Auto for $25.00 and 2 hours later we had new brakes. My findings were, there was no corrosion, the calipers and pistons were all perfect, the rotors had virtually no wear and to top it off, the brake pads still had at least a month if not more on them. These people need to be put out of business, Do not go here!!!!!!!!!

I would like to give no stars! These guys are crooks! I called they said 129.00 to replace my brakes. When I got there they said 179.00, because it was April 2, and 129.00 was last months special. I felt a sting but went ahead and let them do my brakes. I got a call later and said I was absent brake hardware and my front routers were bad,so now the price was 811.00! I told them I will come get my car. He asked me if I wanted the bottom line...another sting! I was silent. He asked are you there? I asked what is the bottom line? He said 379.00. I said why would I pay that if the routers are bad? He said in a derogatory way...so you can stop! I said I was able to stop before. Then he asked to speak to my husband! I went picked up my car, took it to the dealership. I got a call from them, maam there is nothing wrong with your routers or brakes. You have 50 percent left on your brakes. I was charged 60 dollars because I was missing some springs in the front brakes that was it. So that is my experience with just brakes. I was totally blown away!

The $99 brake job is a scam to get you in the door, when I drilled them on why my 09 Scion didnt qualify he mumbled through a non-discernible answer that had something to do with the age. If an 09 economy car doesnt qualify what the hell does? Then he proceeded to estimate the replacement at 280 bucks, and I told him to take it down and leave it outside cause Im going somewhere else. I already had an estimate from my local mechanic at $240 so they offered to price match and I took it just to save time. 3 weeks later I notice intense shaking as I brake from highway speeds. The car has gone 60,000 miles with no history of this and 200 miles after they touch my car it starts experiencing the first problems directly related to braking. Some idiot over tightened the lug nuts and warped my rotor, which is amazing to me because the place is called "JUST BRAKES" and they cant even do the most basic brake repair correctly. I normally never write negative reviews but this was so bad I made an exception.

Great guys! If you need anything they will not stop until they figure out and fix the problem! These guys treat you as if your family very negotiable! They truly want you to be safe if not they wouldnt be so adamant on wanting to make sure you and your loved ones are taken care of! Ive had a couple $1,000 worth of work done there. No issues to date. Them again its completely up to you! Id suggest you be respectful and friendly as well. Theyre not gonna take your ****. If they make a mistake they will fix it free of charge so dont go in thinking your a bad*** and going to bully your way around because theyre gonna kick your *** right back out the door you came in. Or, make a new one just to put their point across! Which you should be respectful anyway. Everyone has accidents or, mistakes occasionally. Thinking your going to be. Aggressive is not the answer! So, use your that 10 Pou d melon on your head. Thats what its for!

Horrible services! I have never written a negative review in my life but Mike (manager) earned it...... I stopped in to pick up my wife who was having her alignment adjusted so she would not have to wait. While in the store I asked for a quote on what new brakes and rotors would be. They took my car back for close to a hour without telling me what was going on. After having to ask multiple times for my vehicle back it was finally returned to me. When I asked what they found the manager (Mike) said that he did not have time to look at the car....... I was dumb founded with this and told him how this was unacceptable. Instead of just apologizing and moving on mike decided to argue the difference between 50 min and a hour. He proceeded to yell and tell me never to come back to his store..... What a joke. NEVER go to this place!!!
