I dropped off 5 of my husbands shirts on Feb.18, 2013 to have them cleaned and pressed. I went to pick them up and they told me that they showed that my shirts were picked up on Feb.11, 2013. I told them that that was the last time I brought them. After looking for them they told me that she had put them under the wrong name. Then (I have a coupon from the HEB receipt) when she rung them up, she said it would be $18 and some change. I told her that last week it was $10 or so and she said that the coupon wasnt rung up right so she said she "fixed" it and that my new total was $16.14. I told her that I drop off either 4 or 5 shirts each time and it has never been that much. That it is normally around $12 for 5 shirts. I told her to go ahead and charge my card and I would go home and check my bank account and call her back to let her know what I was charged last time. When I called her back she told me that "she forgot to tell me that they had a counter meeting last week and started charging an upcharge for extra large shirts". I told her that I wasnt charged the "upcharge" last week and she said that now they do. I told her that I wanted my card credited back the $5.99 that she admittedly said that they owed me. She told me "that is not happening!". I told her that I wanted to talk to her manager and she told me that Debbie was not in and she wouldnt see her until tomorrow (which was Saturday) but that she would tell her the situation. I asked her if she would call me and let me know what the resolution was and she said yes. When I asked if she had my number, she began to repeat the wrong number. I gave her the correct number and she said I would hear from someone on Saturday. Needless to say, I didnt hear anything so I called and was rudely told that "the $5.99 credit on my card wasnt happening". I could have a store credit of $5.99. I told them I didnt want a store credit because I had no intentions of ever coming back and that I wanted to talk to Debbie. She told me that Debbie was almost always at the Kitty Hawk store, but that they would have her call me. My husband called the Kitty Hawk store on Saturday afternoon and Debbie wasnt there. So today, 2/26/2013 I called the Kitty Hawk store and was told that Debbie is mostly at the 3009 store because Kitty Hawk was just a drop off and pick up location. So not only have they charged the wrong price and refuse to do anything about it, they have continuously lied about where Debbie is. I have sent an email via their website with no response, so I am left with no other choice than to leave a review to warn others of their shady practices.

The management at Toudanines is apalling. Never in my life have I been subjected to such a complete lack of customer service by management. I went to pick up my suit that was needed for the next morning and was informed that it was not ready and that if I needed it that day that I would have to go to the main store 10 miles away on FM 3009. When I got there they asked if I could pick it up the next day and I explained that I needed it right away and if it was not ready that I would just take it home and put it in the dryer. They told me that they would get it done if I could wait 20 minutes which was fine. When they brought out my suit I inquired about a discount since I had to drive so far to pick it up with todays gas prices. When the employee went to ask the manager, the manager came and very aggressively stated that there would be no discount. I said that I did not think that I should have to pay full price when I had been so inconvenienced. The manager became beligerant and shouted that I should not be so rude. At this time a customer that had come in at the same time told the manager that I had not been rude at all. This really upset the manager and she threw my clothes at me and told me never mind that I should just leave and there would be no charge. About a month later when I went to the store in my neighborhood to give them another try I was informed that a note had been placed on my account stating that I was to be refused service because I had refused to pay for my last order. I was told by the employee that the manager at the main location had placed the note there. I have since found another drycleaner who has provided me with excellent service and is very friendly, AND they are just over half the price of Toudanines. If anyone is interested they are Snow White cleaners on FM 78.

So this company is getting a 1 because there are no negative/minus rating category. I carried my wife brand new expensive top on Wed. to iron (it was for a wedding on Sun.). Came back Thurs. but was told that they had too many orders so return tomorrow. Returned on Fri. then was told the same thing initially. I said but it was just to iron. They said they didn’t tag it correct and it was sent to dry clean. On further inquiry I was told that it was dry cleaned with another person clothes that had chocolate. They said come back Monday because they still trying to get out the chocolate. I said I need the top for Sunday but they either didn’t care or couldn’t do it. Returned the Monday nothing, then Tuesday I got the top. I asked for a refund because I neither asked for dry cleaning or for the bad service. I was told I cannot get a refund because I paid already but I can get a $25 gift card for next time. SERIOUSLY, this is my wife’s first experience with them you really believe she/we want a NEXT TIME! NO REFUND, why? Once the vault closes it cannot be reopened? Note: they didn’t have full disclosure the first day as to the status of the top, even though they knew chocolate was on her clothes. Their intension was to clean it and say nothing. Only when constantly probe I got a song and dance about the miss labeling, the chocolate and the fired employee who caused the issue. If you look closely at the top you can see the discoloration at the areas where the chocolate was cleaned.

First time using Toudanines cleaners on the week of Jan 21st 2013 we dropped off 3 coats and we were charged $15.93. Picked them up a couple days later with no issues. The next week on Jan 30, 2013 we dropped off 5 coats and I asked casually "its about $5 dollars per coat right?" She replies yes. So to my surprise when we are picking them up a couple days later we are being charged over $42, over $8 a coat. When we tell her thats not what we were charged last time she says that their prices went up for the new year and we explained that we were just here last week. She basically could not do anything about it besides give us a military discount. I will not be going to another Toudanines Cleaners. I also posted on their corporate facebook page and have not heard not one response except the very next day they deleted my comment from their page. WOW! On top of ALL this the shoulders on the coats were not pressed properly!! Now BBB.
