I used to take my car here and had some of the worst experiences. I spent over two grand trying to fix a specific problem since they were playing guesswork with what could be the issue. Part after part they replaced, yet I always left having the same issue. The final nail in the coffin was when I took my car in with working turn signals and windshield wipers and when I left, they werent working. I turned immediately around and spoke to the mechanic. "Hey, my turn signals arent working" and his magnificent response was "I didnt do it.". Didnt even entertain the idea that the problem in question was caused inadvertently during the process and then tried to get me to pay for another diagnostic. I believe the mechanic was named Steve and he may not even work there any more but this was by far the worst experience Ive had at a mechanic.

I have been to several places for car repairs over the years but Richins has exceeded my expectations. They are great about working me into their schedule whether I have an emergency or not and almost every time Ive had an issue they go above and beyond what is expected. Besides the excellent work they do, the one thing that gives me peace of mind, which is very hard to find nowadays, is that they are honest and I can trust them. Trust is important in any relationship and I will always go back because I know they put the customer first! Excellent customer service!

Called them on Tuesday to get a quote on timing chain replacement. Told me to come in Thursday morning at 7 so they can take a look. I got up early to be at their garage at 7, then was told that their mechanic wont be there at 7:30am, and theres also a diagnostic fee of $47.99. If they had told me about the diagnostic fee, I wouldnt have got up so super early to visit them. Also if you tell me to be there at 7am, better have someone ready to look at my car by 7am. Feels dishonest, and also feels all they care about is money.

I have been taking my all my cars ( both European and Domestic) to these guys for almost two years now. I have to tell you I never met more honest and good guys as Steve and Neil. They always bend over backwards to help us get things done for the best possible price and the quality of workmanship is second to none. I would recommend Richins to anyone and always tell people I know to go to them. I hate getting my car fixed- but they have made it the experience ten times better than the old place we used to go.

Fast, professional and thorough. My car was overheating and I couldnt figure out why. I called them in the afternoon, drove my car in and they had everything figured out and done before 6pm. When we picked up my car, we had some questions about the invoice, and they went out of their way to explain everything in detail. They even called the next day to follow up on the questions we had. Stellar service. Would highly recommend.

I needed an alternator and I was new to the area. I called the dealer and my old shop. Both said they couldnt get to it for a whole week. I saw Richins Car Service on Google and they would squeeze me in that same day. They were busy, but they were able to fix my car in less then 4 hours. They are friendly and they do good work. I am so happy with the experience! PS. They were much less then what the dealer quoted me.

After taking my car two two other shops that both had it for weeks and couldnt find the problem, I dropped it off here and the problem was fixed in a day and heres the best part...it only cost me $67. It seems like a lot of mechanics just plug it into the computer and if it doesnt tell them whats wrong, they dont know. This shop has real mechanics in it that can diagnose problems from the symptoms.

I have been going to them for 4 years and I have never had a bad experience. I always felt they were honest and didnt try to get me to buy any additional services or do anything that I didnt need or want. I am sure those who have left bad reviews have legitimate reasons to, but that is to be expected as no company, or individual is perfect and everyone has bad days. I wont use anyone else now.

Great service good pricing, honest and reliable. Will take my car there for any and all service. Top notch mechanics and ownership. They take pride in what they do and get the job done correct the first time, no guessing and no throwing parts at your car upping the price hoping it will fix the issue and never will they treat the symptoms they will solve the problem.!

I have been dealing with Richins Car Service for years and just love those guys. I am surprised at the other review of them. It looks to me to be some whiner who is not even one of their loyal clients. The whiner probably called for an estimate over the phone and was unhappy when he didnt hear what he wanted to hear. Richins has always been top notch in my book.

Richins was fantastic. We were heading back to California and had a water hose connector blow out right at the point of the mountain. We were towed into Richins and within 1.5 hrs we were on our way. The price was fair and the service was great. Would highly recommend Richins. We were down and out and he came through for us.

My wifes 04 Mazda/Ford Escape was having a chronic rough idle issue that the D Dahle Mazda had been unable to resolve after many visits. The vehicle was also having issues with slow starting. Richins correctly diagnosed both issues and resolved them on the first try. Very pleased, we will be returning.

Steve and Neil are the best. Ive been to Richins 3 times for 3 separate service needs (brakes, oil change service and PCV System replacement) on my 08 Volvo and they delivered great service each time at a great price and without delay. I wouldnt take my C30 anywhere else.

Ive been going to Richins for years. I feel very confident in their capabilities and integrity. Prices are reasonable and they do not recommend service unless absolutely necessary. Its usually very easy to get in and service time is minimal. Definitely recommend!

Richins car service is very unprofessional and rude. I needed some repairs done and they really dont seem to know what they are doing. Their customer service is horrible and they are not helpful at all. I would not bring my car there if I were you.

We have been using Richins since they opened!! Always fair pricing, dont do unnecessary work, show you old parts and are more than accommodating. Great place - great people!! No need to take your vehicle anywhere else, Richins does it all.

Excellent all around. I had the "death wobble" on my 97 wrangler, they fixed it up so well, its never driven better! It was all at a good price. I will most definitely be taking my vehicles to Richins for future repairs/maintenance!
