If there were a place to put dishonest, unfair, advantage seekers, unknowledgeable about the state safety laws and rules, I would have chosen that over poor to fair!! If you are a senior citizen or the family of one, I would urge you to take your buisness elsewhere. This company took full advantage of my 87 year old , hard of hearing father.. They told him his tires wouldnt pass insepction because they were ten years old and proceeded to sell him the most expensive ones,ON CREDIT, they could find for his turck, they then said that his truck wouldnt pass due to a non lighted shell that was on it.. Once again they did not know the rules that this didnt apply. And tried to sell him almost 400 dollars in service to upgrade it with a light. After confronting their manager, who wouldnt do anything about it I contacted the state to get the actuall laws concerning all of these things and of course, the lady at the state concured that they didnt know the laws and asked If I would like to file a complaint and possibly have the opportunity to have their state Insp. and Im liscense revoked. I wouldnt want to put them out of income but we as a family are considering legal action. Please, PLEASE, be very careful when using this facility with your vulnerable senior citizens... This is not the first time, but the second time this has happened.. go to Steves Automotive only 4 miles away.. they know there stuff and the laws that govern safety and Im for the state of Utah

These guys are idiots. The reason why I make such an accusation? They put a set of tires on backwards (the rotation arrows on the sidewall were going in the opposite direction to the direction of travel). All 4 tires were put on backwards, and therefore, I got 1 year out of a 50,000 mile set of tires. This ended up costing me about $500 for about 10,000 miles of tire use. Luckily, I went to a tire place right down the street to get a flat tire patched. They put my car up on the lift and after about 5 minutes called me out to look at the fact that my tires were on backwards. The entire shop of guys was standing there looking at the tires (i.e. hey guys, this is how NOT to put on tires). The shop manager told me never to go back to this Firestone again, because 1. reversing the tread provides less traction and could have caused an accident, 2. this ruined a set of tires, 3. if youre going to spend your hard earned money, spend it with someone who does the job right. I plan to speak with the store manager at this Firestone in the next few days complete with pictures of bad tire wear, the fact that they were on backwards, and the fact that these guys installed the tires. Ill post an update to this review to let you know how they treat me when I bring up the fact that they ruined a set of tires and cost me a bunch of money in having to buy a new set of tires.

After coming from Costcos ridiculousness of b.s, coming here was an absolute relief!!! (Never buy tires from Costco!) Brian B. was SO KIND and understanding and even had me drive his car with the tires they sell, so that I felt better about making a purchase there. He even personally drove to another shop as soon as I decided on tires (that they didnt have), and got them right away! He was SO great in making me confident that what I purchased, I would like, and even if I didnt, I have 30 days to exchange them!!! -Unlike Costco (who I can go on & on about the conning they do there - and SL Costco "manager" tire guy - Know your job and your words because Firestone has a 30 day policy, so theres one place YOU NEED TO KNOW about!). They were even willing to match anyones price on the tires!!! Ive never felt like a tire place cared so much that what they sell is legit and that their customer is GENUINELY satisfied! Ill never go to any other tire place but Firestone! Thank you so much Brian! Youre very appreciated!!!!! "

I went to get a simple oil change and their mechanics tried their hardest to wreck my car completely. When they pulled out the oil plug they ripped out the threads. Honestly, I think they made an honest mistake and I dont think it was malicious. But instead of owning up to what they did, they blamed it on the person who did my last oil change. They wanted me to pay $500 to replace the oil pan and when I told them Im not paying for someone elses mistake the manager offered to give it to me for 50% like he was doing me a favor. I was very upset that they couldnt own up to making a mistake. Very unprofessional. And on top of that this all took 3 hours. I went on my lunch break thinking I would be in and out in 30 minutes (like they told me when I made the appointment) and then I missed 2 hours of work. If they cant do an oil change right, I wouldnt trust them with anything.

I originally went to firestone to on 33 south and 9th east to replace the front right control arm on my car they quoted me $460 for parts labor and an alignment they also told me I would need the cv joints replaced. A week later I drove it down to Las Vegas on the way down I stopped in Cedar city and one of the lugs on the front left wheel had popped off I took to good year and they said all of the the lugs on the front right wheel had been cross-threaded and that the stem of the lug that flew off but cracked I then took it back to firestone and they replaced the lugs and stem free of charge. Today I brought it to firestone on Highland drive they quoted me 600+ to get the cv joints replaced I then called another shop and the quoted in the neighborhood of $350. I will never go to firestone again.

I had VERY wonderful service from Brian, and then with Joe. After vowing never to return to Firestone following a horrid experience at the location on 3300 South and 900 East, I found myself forced to call Firestone in order to get emergency service for my tires. Brian helped me first by going out of his way to pick up my specific size tire from downtown on his day off! After that, I went in, and Joe, the manager, made sure that my car was in, and out in no time! He helped to pass the time by engaging in a very nice conversation with me, and before I knew it, my car was ready to go. Thanks Skyler, youre AWESOME! Joe even went as far as to give me the discount that the other location refused to! I will be returning my business to THIS Firestone, thanks to these three outstanding men on the job!

Danny took exceptional care of my truck. Better yet, he thoroughly won me over with his sincere honesty and professionalism. We had an excellent experience at this Firestone because Danny was upfront about what my real issue was... I didnt need a brake job, I needed the wheel weights replaced on my rims, that was the clicking sound... he didnt sell me something I didnt need, he was honest! That is totally refreshing given the experiences weve had in our search for auto repair and maintenance. A huge THANK YOU to your Holladay Firestone team - not one greasy fingerprint on my truck, so the specialists in your shop care too!!! We look forward to next time - because there will be a next time, and how happy we are to have found you guys!!
