I have been pleased with the service I have received at this particular Great Clips over the past two years, so I have made it my go to place when my hair needs a trim every six weeks or so. Within the last three trims, I have experienced a bad encounter with one particular stylist named Alexis. Nothing against her personally, as she is very pleasant and has taken the time to try to get to know me and keep conversation while styling my hair. That being said, unless you are in the market for a faux hawk or a 90s Nick Lachey "short with the front spiked up" look (not sure the proper name of the style), you may also have a bad experience. After the first attempt to style what I tried to articulate as a short top, side swept, cropped sides style as you would find Ryan Gosling wearing (which I produced two pictures of Ryan Gosling from Crazy Stupid Love with said hairstyle), I left the salon in somewhat of a shock. When I finally returned home to Draper on a Saturday afternoon after business hours, I confronted my fears in front of my mirror to realize what I can best describe as a hack job. I had blotches of hair missing in random spots on the side/back of my head, and an uneven "taper" (if thats what you would like to call it) from a 1 guard to a 3-4 inch top that I was not able to adequately part and style as I desired. I seriously considered buzzing my head and allowing 3-4 months of re-growth before going to another salon to get a proper styling. My wife was able to calm me down and do what she could to fix the cut, which I allowed 6 weeks of growth and returned to the same salon to get a new cut, which turned out excellent thanks to another stylist. Today I returned to this particular Great Clips and was again met with Alexis. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and entrusted her to style my hair once more, again producing pictures and explaining as best I could what to do and not to do. This cut was a little better than her last, meaning I dont feel the need to buzz it, but I still had to return home and fix a couple of blotchy spots and receive some reassuring words from my wife that she still finds me attractive. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Needless to say, the next time I return for a trim I will have to make sure to request that Alexis does not style my hair, however rude that may seem. Long story short, if you are taking your 11 year old to get an easy to style and maintain faux hawk/Nick Lachey cut, you will be fine. However, if you have plans for a more "sophisticated" style that requires some skill, dont be afraid to explain yourself and provide examples before the clippers/scissors are unsheathed. I realize you get what you pay for, but I like to assume that these good women are well qualified and capable of producing styles that take a little longer than 5 minutes of their time to create with little to no error.

The only option to rate here is quality, which Great Clips is fine with. They are pretty overpriced though, $13 for a guys cut plus tip. But my haircut has always been great, they keep track of it each time so they can remember and I dont have to. They also include little notes of things they can do better for next time. They are quality, good, fast haircuts and are very friendly to deal with. I would recommend them over the cheaper places in town actually.

So happy with my hair! Im guilty of going on pinterest and finding hair cuts to do and then going to a salon the next day to have them fix it. There were as no judgement with Tara and she did a phenomenal job. She was great about asking the details I wanted. My favorite part? She was exhausted. She had a long day. We talked about it but that didnt affect her job. I applaud you girlfriend!

This is the first haircutting place Ive ever returned to on purpose rather than just picking whatever is closest. They make notes about your last haircut and keep them on file so you dont have to try to remember what you said or requested last time! That way all you have to tell are things you liked/disliked about the look, and they can adjust as needed

Ive been using Great Clips to cut my hair for several years now and they do a good job. Ive noticed their prices slowly creeping up and $14 is getting a little expensive for a 10-minute haircut. I wish they would do their haircut sale for longer than a couple of weeks. I missed it this year.

The people here are very friendly and always full of good advice for a new hair cut. This one is farther away from campus than the Brighams Landing great clips so its a lot less busy.

This place is good if you need a quick touch up or haircut. If you are looking for stylists that take their time to make sure its done right, better go somewhere else.

Over priced for men at $13 to shave my head plus tip. Also the whole time it felt like the machine was dull and kept tugging on my hair, also cut my ear.
