Such a great experience that I wrote them a thank you letter! Here it is: Dear Riverton Firestone employees, I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful experience at your shop yesterday! Everyone I spoke with was very kind, friendly, and patient. Howard was the technician who worked on my vehicle, and when I was invited out to the shop to look at the vehicle with him, he was great to explain everything to me carefully in a way that I could understand. He even ran through everything with me again so that I could make sure I knew what was going on. When I explained to him that I would not be able to pay for all of the repairs that day, he explained to me which of the repairs would be highest priority to fix right away. He was patient and never condescending. I have never felt so well-informed about what work was going to be done on my car, and better yet, what work I could choose to be done on my car. It was very empowering and made me feel at ease. I never felt any pressure from any of the employees to do something I was not comfortable with, a circumstance that I rarely find myself in when at an auto shop. Out of six or seven things that needed to be worked on, I chose to have only three repaired that day; I expected that when I told this to the technician that he/she would encourage me or pressure me to do more. To my surprise, there was no pressure at all, and I was so grateful!

I have only been to this Firestone two times and I will never go back. I went in on 5/20/14 to get my car aligned and to have my tires changed from winter to summer tires. So, I had an appt to take my car in at 10AM. Well, that was a mistake. They were completely blown away by the fact that I wanted to change out my tires. They couldnt comprehend that I didnt want to drive around on my all season tires, I wanted my summer tires on. We dropped the car off at 10AM and my husband told them he needed the car back NO LATER THAN 3PM since I had to go to work...... So, we went to pick the car up a little after 4PM and the car was in the air, tires off. We went in there and said we told them no later than 3 and they say theyre an hour out... So, we told them we needed the car NOW. They hurried and put the tires back on and called it a day. We go to pay and they said they didnt have time for the alignment. Excuse me, but the car had been there for seven hours, thats plenty of time. So we said whatever, we would not be returning and we would just go to another Firestone. So we left. After I pulled out and drove a few blocks, I realized they didnt put my old tires, the ones that blew their mind so badly, back in my car.. So I had to go back. This Firestone is just an absolute joke. I will NEVER return here and I hope they see this and know how horrible of service they have.

The worst rip-off place ever!! Dont take your car here unless you want to throw away some money or get your car in worse shape than before you took it there. I have a Lifetime warranty for the life of my car on rotating/balancing my tires which I paid handsomely. I took my car here to get emissions & safety inspected for renewal of my license plates. Thought they could also rotate and balance my tire. I was so wrong in taking it here. Not only did I pay for not passing my safety because they wanted over $800 in service but wouldnt rotate my tires or balance it unless I spent the $800 saying I needed a new tie rod. Took it to another place (not Firestone) and they passed it and even said I didnt need a new tie rod. Couple days later my steering wheel started to shake. After about a month of this I decided it needed to be looked at. I went to Big O Tires (excellent service BTW) and they balanced my wheels and resurfaced the rotors and no more shaking. Im positive if I took it to Firestone, they would still want to replace the tie rod and replace the rotors and charge me way too much. Dont take you car to this place!!!

They just lost another costumer. Went to see them and they were told two things that needs to be done. They even have to require us to prepay because they have to order parts from manufacturer. So prepay both parts and labor. They called us that car was ready and all fixed. When we asked if all the job was done they said yes. When we mentioned the things that should have fixed, one they werent sure and they had to check just to tell us they didnt do it. They promised us that they will order the part and it should be at their shop noon that day. 1 PM no call from them so we call, they told us that they are expecting the delivery soon. Day came and gone no calls from them. That was Friday. Now Monday, day almost over and no call from them yet. We are so tired of them not fulfilling what the promise and paid to do. We figured they got our money already so they dont need to take care of us costumer anymore. Got the part needed at checker and paid $6.99 for it and the clerk at checker auto part was so nice to install it for no charge. Please dont go to Firestone if you want to be treated fair and nice.

Thiefs!! Thats what I would call them. I brought my car in to have it looked at, I had an idea of what was causing my problem. I have a regular mechanic that I love and trust, but it was an urgent matter, it was 5PM on Friday and I was on the other side of town. #1 Having a $75 diagnostic fee, which is not waived if you have them do the work is ridiculous. #2 They must think that because I am a woman I dont know anything about cars. My Daddy didnt raise no fool! #3 They told me I needed all these repairs (that BTW are not necessary) and even suggested that I might have "Major Internal problems" with my vehicle and at big dollars signs ($650+). The guy that I dealt with was just to "Used Car Salesman" for me. He were trying to rip me off! I had my "REAL" mechanic take a look at it today, and there is 1 problem that needs to be fixed at about $300 out the door. That is a lot less than what this guy tried to steal from me!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AND WILL BE SURE TO SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH ALL OF MY FRIENDS!

Do not go to this company all they do is make up stuff that is wrong with your vehicle. I bought two lifetime alignments less then a year ago and decided to take them in for an alignment on seperate occasions. Both times they told me it could not be done cause the tie rods were bad on one vehicle and on my truck he just said something in the wheel bearing is going out. So unless you want to spend a thousand dollars and piss your money down the drain everytime you walk it to this so called establishment go somewhere else. trust me you will not enjoy your experience. It takes them three hours to do emissions and tell you that they wont align your vehicle. I cant believe they are still in business. I have had terrible experience with these scam artists. When a company has 14 bad reviews and three good ones u know there doing something wrong. If i was managment i would definetly look to change my company image.
