I was looking for a new repair shop that i could rely on for all my future repairs in my area. I saw the high rating for kars and decided to give them my business. I was looking for a shop to do a radiator flush on my Toyota tacoma so i went there to check out the shop and get a price for this . I was satisfied with the price they quoted. I was planing on doing this myself and had purchased two radiator hoses from Toyota to install when i did the flush. I asked them how much they would charge to install them when they did the flush. I was shocked when they said it would be 200 dollars just to install the two hoses not counting the flush . I used to do a lot of my own work so i know that to install the top hose would take less than 10 minutes but the bottom one is more work but not more than 20 to 25 minutes . I told them no and looked at some other shops that were rated at least a 4 star. I found two i felt comfortable with they were both withing 20 dollars for the flush and one would install the hoses if i did the flush for 49 dollars and the other for 69. IF you go to this place I would be sure to check around to get competitive prices. The shop was clean and the people there were friendly I was just shocked at the quote they gave me

They went above and beyond trying to trouble-shoot and find a battery for my Hybrid Camry that was more affordable then the one from the dealership. They have always been a reliable, honest, and trustworthy shop, and I was pleased with my car this time around too. Over the week leading up to 4th of July when I booked my car in they were much more packed then usual, and I could tell, since it took a bit longer to get my car back, plus I saw the amount of appointments & walk-ins they had in one day alone (wow! Such great service and they do so much in a day! ^_^); however, they have always been a great, reliable shop, and I will remain a loyal customer, plus part of the reason it took longer is because they were trying to find a more affordable option for me, which is wonderful :). I would also like to add, that they never add extra fees, and they are always honest--for example, they checked my brakes this time, and always inform me if I need them changed, and what work is priority that needs to be done on the car. I love the honesty, it shows great work ethic and its sometimes hard to find in car repair shops :).

I own a 2006 Miata and I recently had my coolant changed and the hot water overflow tank replaced by them and it was a good job. The other day it wouldnt start in a parking lot thinking a dead battery, got a jump and it did nothing. Thinking its the starter or relay I had it towed to Kens, upon arrival he called me to let me know it arrived from AAA and that he would get on it soon. I totally sold myself and I think Ken that it was a starter and was getting price quotes just so I was prepared, well once he got to it and dignosed it it ended up being a fuse...a simple cheap fuse that he totally could have made a starter issue and I wouldnt have known the difference. Thanks for being honest and a good guy! All my other cars will be getting Kens Kare from now on.

I have a 2006 Ford Escape that had a misfire that was hard to figure out. It only happened at highway speeds (45-65) and never seem to want to throw a code. It finally threw one on us as we were driving up the mountains and dropped by a Oreilys to get it read. A misfire in cylinder 5. The engine light turned off before getting back into town. Took it to 2 other mechanics without a diagnosis. Finally decided to give it another shot and took it to KARS. They were able to find a pinhole size crack in the coil to the spark plug. $40 in parts/labor and weve not had an issue since! Took it up the Grand Canyon and back with no problems! Thanks KARS for finally figuring it out. Well be sure to come back the next time we have any issues.

So far so good! The service is as good as the reviews. Got my brakes fixed on my Infiniti was quoted a price and was waiting for the typical auto shop call with increased price and nope they did what they said they were going to do for the price they said! Repair took a little longer than quoted time but to me that just means they really wanted to make sure they did an A plus job and like to check their work! Ive been going to the Infiniti dealership for all car service for my car but Ill be going here now for everything big and small!

Took my 82 Vette in with an overheating problem. They diagnosed and fixed it the same day and gave me a ride both directions so I wouldnt have to wait. The guys seem to be very knowledgeable, as well as being pleasant and considerate. Have to go back tomorrow so they can help me get the car to pass emissions. Ill let you know how it goes! Hey, Ken, I didnt get an offer of a discount for being a first time customer like one of your other reviewers. How about that discount? :)

I went to Kens Auto today (on Kelton). This is a great place! They took my car into the shop right away and had the problem fixed within a couple hours of my call. They were personable and very professional. Kept me informed the entire time about what was happening with the car. The technician even came out to describe the work they had done. Fast, professional, good work and very affordable. This is where I will be bringing my car from now on!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Ken ever since he opened several years ago. The work was always done exceptionally well. My experience is they always take the time to look and identify other potential problems and discuss options with you if you so desire. I am an old hot rodder and just dont feel like twisting the wrenches like I used to so these guys meet my expectations above and beyond what I would do for myself. I highly recommend.

KARS is the ONLY place I trust for vehicle repairs in Phoenix area! Ken and the crew did excellent work on my vehicle and fixed the issue that countless other shops in Phoenix could not figure out. Fantastic work and wonderful customer service. The gentlemen at KARS know what theyre doing and are insistent upon going the extra mile to make sure everything is repaired correctly. Dont take your vehicle any where else! These guys are a class act! They are honest, friendly and take a great deal of time to properly diagnose an issue instead of just replacing unnecessary parts and making you pa for them. Ken spent time on the phone with me helping me diagnose the issue not knowing if I was even going to bring my car to him. I did, and am very satisfied with the entire experience.
