Its a typical Ken Garff experience, expensive, chaotic, unprofessional, and time consuming. First being quoted a windshield part for $950 that when I drove to Ken Garff Volvo to price check actually turned out to be $500 was disappointing. They schedule me a 10:30 appointment the following week which is a challenge for me since I work night shifts and sleep in the mornings, so with only 3-4 hours of sleep I go to take the car in running 15 minutes behind and I drop it off only to get a call 40 minutes later that the guy who was gonna change the windshield decided to leave because apparently he had more important things to do and 15 minutes late was a deal breaker. So glad they informed me ahead of time that being a few minutes late would mean that my windshield wouldnt get replaced today. Spend the whole rest of the day exhausted and sleep deprived for no legitimate reason. Its funny this occurred because they originally scheduled me at 10am but moved to 10:30 because they were worried about there not being enough time from the prior appointment. Well with Ken Garff I never expect much and today reconfirmed that expectations should remain low with them.

Got my car after collision to this shop on 06/19/2017 today is 08/09/2017 and car is still not finished. But thats not all. This shop employed retarded to work on cars. One day they called me that a car is ready for pickup and I came there was 1" gap between hood and bumper. Next time they called they had to do polishing because they had car with paint running like someone painted with brush. Ok they fixed that and Im taking car but hey, headlight that they replaced isnt working not even a blinker, hmm someone forgot that they need to plug it in in order to work and no one inspected that. Ok Im thinking thats it, but hey they broke my a/c because it did work and now its not. So i left car back to them and hoping that they will fix it. But worries me what else did they forgot and that my car wont fall apart after couple days. They even placed front license plate upside down. Oh yeah they said I have life time warranty, but how Im goin to claim warranty if I end up dead because some idiot forgot to tighten a bolt or a screws? I would not recommend this shop even to my worst enemy.

Most unprofessional front desk Ive ever dealt with. They tried making us pay for their mistake and tried making us feel like we were in the wrong. They committed check fraud by cashing an insurance check and buying parts to start repairs on a car they did NOT have permission to work on. What is the point of having your customers sign an authorization for repairs form if youre going to begin the process of repairs without permission? After that, they billed us for parts they ordered and couldnt use. We had to pay out of pocket because they cashed the insurance check without permission. Now, we have to wait weeks for the insurance to reissue a check to reimburse ourselves. For "customer service" sake they waived the restock fee for the part they ordered and didnt use, but they tried to act as if they were doing us a favor rather than admitting they made a mistake and tried to have us pay for it. Extremely unprofessional! And we were not the only customers in there being taken advantage of. Its a pity the Ken Garff name is on this body shop.

When the other drivers insurance agent suggested this approved auto body shop, I thought they will be be providing acceptable service, the opposite, this business works for the insurance company, not the cars owner. First they did not replace the exhaust pipe, but hammered back the smashed caused from the accident. Second, they returned the car with a broken engine mount and never noticed. When the insurance tried to make me pay for the engine mount part under the claim that an engine mount is like a tire, or a battery, a part you need to change after so many miles, this business backed them up on that claim, clearly showing they have not even read the manual of a Honda. Finally, their customer service is insurance agent oriented, they will explain and communicate with the agent, but not with the owner of the car. If you are an insurance company this is your business, if you are a Hondas owner, this is not the place for you.

Eight months ago, I walked in to get an estimate for damage to my car, they said they didnt have anyone that could help me, that I should have called and got an appointment. So, I set an appointment for one week later. Yes, they didnt have estimators available for one entire week. So then, I had some other damage happen to a different car and just called them, "Im sorry sir, the next available appointment is not until next week." I realize that shops can get busy at certain times, but when two separate times I try to get an estimate (that takes 10 minutes) and I have to wait a week, I feel like the owners should hire more estimators and grow their business instead of provide such horrible customer service. If it takes a week to get an estimate, I can only imagine how long it will take to get the car in, let alone how long it will take to get the car back.

What a disaster. They may "hear you" but they dont care. I was forced to use them as they were the closest approved repair shop. 35 days later they havent started on my truck, & getting anyone to answer the phone? Forget about it. Better off trying to raise the dead. Ol Ken is probably rolling in his grave. I swore Id never deal with the Garff clan again after I bought a vehicle from them in the past. Yet here we are....to be continued....update. Day 43. No progress.....Day 78. It been getting painted for 3 weeks. Were talking about a fender, door, and hood. Day 86 picked up the truck. Hoods mis aligned grill was loose and sticking out an inch. New bumper & grill scratched. Rear bumper scratched. Fender scratched. Truck was filthy. 3 tires were mounted backwards. STAY AWAY!! Very far away.

they messed up my appointment. never ordered my parts. dropped off my car received a call they had no idea what they were doing with the car. but offered to take it with out letting me know the guy never ordered parts. the guy that set up my appointment and was supposed to order parts no longer worked there. took almost a month to get my car back. they wont pay for the rental(since it took a month) so im stuck with a 300 bill and they say its not there fault????? they scratched my tint on my windows. an employee stole or lost my lanyard. this was a minor accident by the way. and they say it isnt there fault it took almost a month to fix my car!!!!! awful. terrible people and company.

If I could give negative stars I would give them negative. Anything over -5 stars is still too high. They replaced my bumper and windshield and did an excellent job on that, but they did not reconnect the wires correctly so now my Daytime Running Lights DO NOT WORK. They said that the lights arent supposed to be on unless its dark. THEY ARE NAMED DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS. Im definitely not a doctor, but that definitely sounds like they are supposed to run DURING THE DAY. If you want your stuff fixed this is a great place, just dont expect your electronics in your car to work correctly afterwards or else they will argue that its not supposed to work that way.
