Do NOT take your vehicle to this place. At least not if you care about it or its a high quality expensive car. They do NOT care about attention to detail, proper function, or quality. I paid nearly $4,000 to have my Audis door replaced. The door has the following problems after they fixed it: -The door cannot close properly -The hinge is faulty and does not swing open or closed properly -The door feels extremely cheap compared to the other 3 doors, they are not the same material -Due to the lack of quality the door does not seal properly and while cruising you can hear a strange grinding/whining noise coming from the door -The door handle itself does not work properly as the other door handles do, electronically -Lastly the door does not LOCK. YES. IT DOES NOT LOCK. Meaning for the last few weeks I have been thinking my car is secure when I lock it and leave it in a parking lot, at which point any person could have come and broken into my car from that one door and that one door only. When the car is locked, the other 3 doors work as normal, but you are able to open the Higgins fixed door no matter. I am flabbergasted at how poorly this job was done at the cost I paid. What a mistake. Stay away from this place. I never write bad reviews for any company, I dont think I ever have once before. But this is completely unacceptable. I wasnt even going to write a bad review and let it go up until the point I found out about the door not even being able to lock. I will be looking to getting it fixed properly. Thanks for taking the time to read, I hope I save you the headache. Note - the one positive thing I have to say about my experience is the people were very nice and helpful. I will edit my review if they make things right.

Hands down the best auto body service out there. Have had several of my cars fixed there after accidents, and it always comes out flawless. Paint always matches, and smooth, and use genuine parts for replacement, almost like its a brand new car again. Only complaint, the customer service skills could use some cleaning up. Service updates would be a nice courtesy to the customers. I have had a few occassions where i am left in the dark on the progress of my vehicle. I have had to call the shop several days after dropping my vehicle off, wondering whats being done to it, when its gonna be worked on and the time frame itll be done in. And what their target date would be. Theyve been wonderful answering the questions, and giving clear run downs. But would be nice if theyd call as soon as possible after theyve done their estimates. However, they did call on the target date, letting me know the vehicle will be ready for pick up at a certain time. That was nice. But when i arrived to the shop at the time given, the vehicle wasnt ready, due to them being a bit behind. Would have been nice to know before making the trip out. Over all their shop service is wonderful, and is the only place i trust for vehicle rapairs. They are the only shop i suggest to people when they need work done to their vehicles.

I walked into Higgins without an appointment and only had to wait about 10 minutes. A wonderful young woman evaluated what I needed to get my car fixed and looking brand new again. Higgins was recommended to me so my experience at that point was just fine so I decided to trust them. I love the fact that the rental car was waiting for me when I delivered my car. I do think the gentleman from Enterprise could have been a little bit more detailed on teaching me how to use the car since I had never driven that type of Jeep before. However thats not Higgins responsibility thats Enterprises responsibility. I dont live near by and was disappointed in myself that I forgot to take my garage door opener out of the car and I did exactly the same thing when I came to pick it up. I left it in the rental car. I just have a suggestion. Those wonderful young ladies at the front desk could remind customers to make sure everything is out of your car. I think just mentioning garage door opener would be helpful. My car looks wonderful, brand new and they gave it back to me clean and Im extremely happy. I would recommend Higgins Body and Paint to anyone. Thank you so much for the wonderful service and the expertise. I especially was impressed with the friendliness. Brenda Woods

Terrible Shop!! I went over all the damage with Mike, one of the two managers there at Higgins. When I went to pickup my truck only one of the 4 things that needed repaired was actually done. Mike said, "I talk to hundreds of people a week, and I cant remember everything." None of the additional work was done and they wanted me to pay for a rental to leave my car there additional days so they could finish what they forgot to do. They replaced the back bumper but then I found damage on my tailgate that was not there before I took it in to the shop. Mike accused me of lying about the damage to the tailgate saying he knows it was there before the accident. All in all, I would not recommend this shop to anyone. There are shops that do great work that have good customer service too. This shop did not do good work and has terrible service. Terrible!!

A-1 service in all aspects! The estimators Shauna and Bryce are awesome and know enough about what they do to give detailed explanations of work being performed on your vehicle. They are easily accessible and always respond to inquiries/requests in very reasonable time. From my standpoint, theyre the best body shop in the SLC area and the have the right people to interface w/ the public--except Misty at the front desk. Misty answers questions when asked but I perceive her to have a very cold and unwelcoming attitude for her current job. Megan on the other hand is awesome and gets things done very efficiently. There were a few things wrong with my vehicle upon pick up BUT the team took care of all the issues right there on the spot and didnt make up excuses to get out of it. I HIGHLY recommend this body shop to anyone needing their services.

Extremely rude employees! We came in after an auto accident and let them know we were planning to pay for everything ourselves and we were not going through insurance. They insisted on knowing who our insurance provider was. They then refused to help us because of who our provider was. We had known they didnt work with out insurance, which was why we were paying out of pocket for the repairs. When we let them know this, their attitude got even worse and were were treated even more poorly. The rep who looked at our car was also very rude, made rude comments about us and about the condition of the car in other aspects. We left, went right down the street and got MUCH better service. I do not recommended this company.

I got quotes from 3 different shops and Higgins was quite a bit cheaper so I went with them. Rather than replacing the damaged panel on the car (which is what all of the shops had recommended due to the level of damage) I asked Higgins to just repair the current panel to make the repair cheaper, even if it meant it wouldnt look quite as good (it was a huge 2 by 2 wide dent behind the passenger door). But when I picked up the car, I was totally amazed, it looked flawless! They even fixed a nearby ding that was there previously and I wasnt expecting that at all. The car had been washed and cleaned as well. I am super impressed.
