Safe Harbor offers low prices and decently nice management, but I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Some of the units dont seem to be well insulated from the elements and let in water and dirt easily. Their other clients are generally people you wouldnt feel safe living next to, and sure enough someone broke into my unit and management never bothered to tell me, although for awhile they were sending me emails that I was being evicted for not paying even though I had automatic payments set up. I dont remember who it was I dealt with, but one day when I went by to get something out of my unit, the lock was gone and my boxes torn into. At first the onsite manager shrugged it off as if it werent his problem, but eventually he came around and was helpful as much as he could be. I ended up staying on for a little while longer (nothing seemed to be stolen), but it wasnt comforting when an undercover cop came into the office to talk about some meth head conducting an operation out of their unit. Again, management has generally been decent and it did sound as though they would be making improvements, but if youre looking to store your personals while you go abroad or something, remember that low cost comes with high risks. If you like water spots, bugs, rodents, and dirt, or if you really love the idea of crackheads hanging out on site all the time and sorting through your stuff, this is the place for you.

I had an excellent experience with the staff at Safe Harbor and setting up and selecting a storage unit. It is a very good facility that is safe and clean. It has a number of different sizes that I havent seen in other units and that worked well for me. The prices are competitive and the units are easily accessible. The times for accessing the unit are very good. There are 2 reasons why I didnt give it a full 5 stars. 1. There is little parking when you first arrive and need to go into the office and since you are coming off a very busy street it can be difficult to get in to the gate. When I pull up to the electronic box to enter my code, my vehicle is sticking out onto State Street which can be a problem. 2. There is a back entrance that would be so much safer and convenient, but it is blocked an unavailable. You have to go in the front which is on State Street. They offer several options for paying for the unit and even gave me a 2 month special which was great. I recommend them to anyone looking for storage in this area.

I have rented from a few diferent storage units. This specific storage unit has the best prices (I have been able to find), excellent customer service, reasonable gate hours of access, flexible with late fees and are always having deals. Ive heard a person or two claim about rodents, but as any storage unit you should use shelfs and totes (I do). I have never personally seen a rodent and all my stuff has stayed untouched. If you use common knowledge of keeping food out of your unit, you will not have a problem. They are switching to better locks and they is plenty of security cameras. Theres a elevator and karts to transport your storage needs. Its a smoke free facility so no need to worry that your unit will drink because of other people. They have units as small as 5×5 to as big as car ports (& everything in between). The only improvement I could see would be a bathroom.

I’ve had a storage unit with Safe Harbor storage for 10+ years. Mostly for seasonal decorations, snow shovels, and stuff we didn’t need part time out of the year. I choose them because they are by far one of the least expensive places and they were close to where I lived. Storage is storage and no one thinks about it unless something happens. After a decade of smooth sailing something did happen and I can reassure you that Safe Harbor is the place to be because of its’ management team. People always make the difference and Ryan and his staff called me at home, met with me on site after hours, and gave me personal cell numbers to go above and beyond what I expected. I recommend using Safe Harbor Storage with no reservations and thank them for their superior service and personal touch.

I have had NO PROBLEMS with Safe Harbor. I chose this site for their GREAT RATES. I will absolutely return if/when I need a storage unit in the future because the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWESOME. When I rented my unit, last month, the woman at the desk was KIND, HONEST and EFFICIENT. Everything was CLEAN and ACCESSIBLE. I also really like the hours they have. Another review listed a lot of terrible issues but I havent had any problems at all: no bugs, no rodents, & no rain getting in my unit. Also, the other tenants Ive seen have not looked weird, creepy, or drug-addicted. I would definitely recommend Safe Harbor.

This was a great place to rent from a while ago, until they highered the prices on us. Now we are paying what some people pay for a garage size unit and we have one of the smaller units. Plus the late fees are out of control. The drive way is a pain to get into because you have to enter it from state street. It would be nice if you could enter it from the quieter street on the other side. With the economy being the way it is, Im looking into getting everything so I dont have to deal with the prices and crazy late fees.

Safe Harbor is a GREAT place if you want to feel your belongings are safe! Ryan, the manager, is awesome and works with you so you feel as if Safe Harbor is actually a perfect name for this business! I wouldnt want to store my belongings anywhere else, I feel as if theyre protected and I can rest easy. I definitely recommend them to ANYONE looking to fulfill their storage needs!

Since the first time I called them about inquiring about a storage unit, they were extremely helpful. When I showed up they greeted me and answered my every question. The prices are great, the units are tall which is a bonus, and so far I am really pleased with the quality of the units and the compassion the employees show to customers. The staff was vary helpful and friendly. The only down side to this business is that the location can be hard to get into as they are on a busy area of State Street and you have to be going north in order to reach the entrance, if you are driving a large moving truck you need to make sure you approach from the correct direction because making a u-turn can be impossible.

Lisa and Tami were awesome! They were so helpful in finding the right size space for my needs. It was a chilly night, but they took some time to show me a few different units and got me all set up in no time. I was surprised how clean the units are and how well the doors work. I highly recommend these safe harbor!!
