Sunday night was attempting to access the elevator and the button wouldn’t work. A half hour a Elevator repair man walked onsite. It turns out that a person was trapped in the elevator and they had called for help. This delay left us and the moving trucks and movers and other customers trapped in the gated lot. We called numerous “after hours” and “emergency numbers” listed for the company. I myself left 2 voice messages and called 4 different numbers on the buildings signage. The reason I give a negative review is not because of the broken elevator (these things happen) but rather there was no response or call back, in fact to this day I have yet to here anything back after leaving detailed messages of my name and phone number. We called 911 to have the Fire Department to perhaps let out the waiting vehicles but the dispatcher said we had to leave the vehicle in the lot till morning as no one life was in danger. It turns out another customer after fumbling around with the gate mechanism in the dark was able to ‘trick’ the gate to open. Success!

I have had a few experiences with storage facilities around downtown SLC and let me tell you there exists only one for me at this point in time--and that one is Towne Storage behind The Gateway. Mark, site manager, runs a tight ship and does everything within reason for his customers. Clean, good security, awesome employees, good rates for the location...what else can be said. If you need storage conveniently located anywhere in the greater Downtown SLC area, look no further--seriously. I have used Towne Storage over the span of many years and I believe they continue improving rather than maintaining a stasis at the baseline of their competitors.

After three-too-many residential moves and three different storage companies in Salt Lake City, I will never use another company. Towne Storage has the best, cleanest facilities, the most reliable and secure access/exit system, and the most customer-friendly staff of them all. Mark is a fabulous site manager. With every detail, every issue, every question I have had Mark is on top of making sure his customers are taken care of. Their prices are reasonable and competitive - even though their facility is hands-down the nicest facility of any other in the area. Dont waste your time with any other storage company - use Towne Storage.

Thank you so much Mark you was great.Very helpful and caring .Jeremy and Mark have great customer service always greeted me,they have a clean facility,great location close to freeway ,entry,and exit was no problem parking was great large entry gate so that bigger vehicles have no issues coming and going from storage.I would definitely use Town Storage again if ever i need another unit.Great pricing,was given a promotion for the first month they actually told me about the deal i didnt even need to ask them.I definitely recommend Town storage for you storage needs two thumbs up guys great work!

Staff is great Mark and Jeremy are the bosses but upper management isnt too good... Was experiencing liver failure and still am and asked if any way they could help maybe waive late fees since I was in hospital... Nope wont do it Burke (the owner) doesnt allow us anymore... So I called him never got a respinse... The staff at the places you visit are awesome I cannot disagree but to sell my unit when Im dying kinda messed up

Best storage in town! Conveniently located downtown, provides the most secure and comfortable experience with temperature controlled indoor facilities. Customer service was second to none! Jeremy walked me and my wife through our best options and saved us money by finding us the best unit for our needs and getting us a u-haul on site at a cheaper price than what we were able to find elsewhere. Would recommend to anyone.

Ive stored with these guys a couple of times. Theyre friendly, professional and courteous. Any issues Ive had were resolved right away and I feel theyve really earned a five star review. I see on other reviews that some people are worried about homeless people in the area causing damage but Ive never even been asked for change and when I have stuff in there I access it quite often. The facility is very secure!

Mark the manager is a wizard at customer service! I have used storage at many places but only Towne makes me say WOW! It is a clean and safe facility. As the worlds most negative guy I have nothing negative to say about Towne Storage. Everyone who is anyone rents at Towne Storage. If your city does not have a Towne storage, move. In other words, no Towne Storage, no stars. Mark has made it a 5 star facility.

I came to Towne Storage to look for a good quality place to store my stuff while I go home for the summer. The emploee gave great customer service and answered all my questions. She was kind and got to know me as an individual. I also liked that the storage units are very secure and makes me feel good about leaving my stuff. Overall was perfect!
