I rented a unit here for a short time over the course of moving, I regret every penny. My unit was broken into and robbed twice, had numerous other issues with the management in spite of paying in advance the whole time. I lost thousands of dollars in appliances, all my winter gear, priceless family antiques and so much more. My renters insurance is unlikely to cover all of it. I discovered the first robbery myself, I pulled up to see the door open and light on. They didnt even call to tell me it had happened - the door had been open for days when I showed up. I was told they were investigating to find out who it was, I waited weeks for an update that never came. The property manager, Mr Smith, later acknowledged to me that there was no security footage to evaluate because they only have cameras at the front and rear of the facility. He is not stable, interacting with him was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He is terrifying. After the second break-in (which I discovered last week, again no alert) I removed what was left of my things and gave notice of vacating. Do not risk using this place for storage. I know its cheaper than anywhere around but its not worth the consequences.

Our storage unit was broken into in Sep-2016 and many things were stolen. There was no notification, and our door was left ajar for at least an entire day, perhaps longer (date of break in is unknown) when we came to pick up some things. Called to report and manager nonchalantly told us to call police and otherwise offered no information or assistance. We filed everything, bought a new stronger lock, and left the remaining items. It was broken into again several weeks later, in Oct-2016. Again there was no notice, again the door was left ajar for an undetermined period of time. After investigation through police, it came to light that there is only a camera at the entrance and at the very rear of the facility, thus leaving the manager / police no way of determining who broke in, when, what units were affected, and what was taken out. No longer a customer here of course, and the deal on the unit was apparently too good to be true.

Anyone considering putting items in storage should know to use shielded locks. I didnt know and my unit was broken into, items were stolen and broken. Food from sturdy storage buckets was spilled and mice infested my furniture because of it. They climbed on the boxes and broke them open.The surveillance was not helpful in finding the criminal who broke in and had enough time to ramsack my unit. Lesson, put valuables in the back of the unit, dont let the outside of the box reflect it contains valuable content and use shielded locks. Sandy mini storage promised a keypad lock on the door into the storage area, which still is still not installed, and that keypad would have provided more security, maybe prevented the break in. I was unable to contact anyone connected with Sandy mini storage an emergency. The roof of my unit leaked water onto my stuff.

Mike and Hally are the managers of this store n lock they are great people very helpful and friendly .I have known Mike now for 5 years we have become good friends. So if you want a good safe place to store your stuff call Mike and he Wil be more than happy to hook you up. Thats store n lock just east of I -15 8900 south.

From Kathleen .. .. Terry is Awesome. Terry always has a smile on his face, kind conversation and a bowl of chocolate. Good guy. However the male that lives there, drives a gold colored vehicle, is very rude, disrespectful and shows no sign of being a people person. Not a good guy.

I shopped around quite a bit for a good storage unit. Im more than pleased with what I found at Sandy Mini Storage. Affordable prices, GREAT service, and my unit is incredibly clean. Ive told several friends, who have units nearby, to think about switching. Im highly pleased.

This is by far the best storing experience Ive ever had. The front desk people are amazing. The units are HUGE! ...and very safe with someone in site everyday. They also do snow removal for easy access during the winter. Highly suggested.

They are never there. The website says they are open from 8-8 but sometimes even at 10:30 in the morning you cant get ahold of them! Every afternoon they leave early. Then you end up with late fees because you cant pay on time.
