Never again. This place is your typical back-alley, body shop. I expected the bare minimum and was disappointed. I went in to get my bumper replaced and when I came back to pick up my car straight-away I noticed something was wrong but I drove it off their lot. One week later, part of the bumper started to detach from the car. I took it back to them and was met with a lot of attitude and they wanted me to pay for them to fix the problem. I told them I wouldnt pay because I did nothing wrong so finally they agreed. After they fixed it for the second time I had run into the same problem, the bumper had started to come off of the car again. I have since went to a professional body shop and got it taken care of. Their work came with a lifetime guarantee and gave me peace of mind. The problem ended up being that these guys didnt properly align the bumper. The prices they charge at Arlington Auto Body Shop were actually about the same price as the fancy certified Body Shops. Instead of paying twice (once when they fix it and again when the repair goes bad) just start off at a professional shop.

I had my front left suspension replaced after a minor accident that bent it. There was a misunderstanding and I thought I was getting a new part when in actuality I got an old part. Three weeks later my car starting making sounds when I turned or went over bumps. Next thing I know I hear a loud thump and I pull over only to find that MY WHEEL WAS FALLING OFF MY CAR. It turns out they put in a screw that was TOO SMALL FOR IT. They fixed it but when trying to talk to them about the misunderstanding over the new or used part because I had spoken to two different people regarding the work, they becane uncooperative and very rude about the whole thing. I asked one man to not raise his voice and I do not appreciate him talking to me like that at me and his reponse was "I am not raising my voice and I can talk to you however I want!" I wont EVER use them again and I wouldnt recommend them if you value your safety! They do not back their work or their word. I am going back to Honda from now on where they make things right!

I’m writing on behalf of our family to praise the staff and the work of Arlington Auto Body. My husband has been an extremely satisfied customer for over 14 years. In fact, in addition to our cars, Ty and his team continue to provide excellent service to my husband’s children’s cars and even his ex-wife’s cars! Arlington Auto Body has addressed numerous mechanical repairs on our three cars. All work has been done very well by a very pleasant and professional staff. Body work has been a staple of our visits for both small dings and bigger jobs – all work done flawlessly. One area that Arlington Auto Body excels in is color. Their color matches have been spot on and we’ve never had an issue or complaint. We regularly recommend Arlington Auto Body to friends and business colleagues and they all have reported very positive results. It has been a pleasure to work with Ty and his family and his current mechanic Joe has done wonders with a classic Mercedes that could not be repaired at the Mercedes dealer.

I took my car to have them check the a/c and do a simple oil change. They basically said that my a/c was gone, and would have to have it conductor replaced in order for it to work...that would cost 1400dollars. I decided against it, and the bill was still 264 dollars,,,they said they had to use 3ls of anti freeze, and all thisbull crap. I unwillingly paid it, and the next day my check engine light came on...keep in mind the car was running fine and had no light on until the day after service. I brought it back and there was a different guy there, very rude, and curt. He didnt want to help and said what they had done had nothing to do wit the light. In the end, he checked the vitals of the car, and wanted to charge 65.00 for a 1 min. computer plug and check into the engine. Of course i didnt pay, but these people WILL RIP YOU OFF. their english is not very good, except for 2 workers...DO NOT GO HERE.

I never give anyone an excellent rating.. But these folks are just honest, a quality that Ive never found on a mechanic in the 30+ years Ive been driving. The general manager Tai is really great. He seemed to like telling you what was wrong with the car and how it was fixed, unlike every other place where they just say a lot of mechanical buzz words that you cant understand and the bill! Its a small busy shop where work is done. If you are used to pretty car dealer ships, this place is different, its a REAL mechanic and auto body shop that wont charge you over inflated prices!! The the map address is incorrect for this place. GPS 4000-A 5th road, that will take you to the correct place. They are behind the Ballston Shopping Mall. Yes, the map is way off!

I came across Arlington Auto Body by accident when the head gasket on my 2005 Yukon broke and needed to be replaced while I was thousands of miles away from home. I called a few local places and I received the best quote and customer service from Arlington. The manager was really nice, explained everything to me and didnt try to sell me on a bunch of other repairs. Even with a very busy shop, they managed to get my truck fixed in a timely manner and had me back on the road in no time. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a good, honest mechanic.

Arlington Auto Body has been doing the body work on all of my familys cars since 2008 and have also done work on my brothers car. They did a major job on one of my Subarus when It was hit by a truck in the front end. The rest of the work has been mostly bumper covers and creases in doors that constantly occur in the parking lots around here. We have always been very satisfied with their work. Their prices are very competitive. All the work has been done promptly and has been done to a very high standard. I definitely recommend this shop.

I cant say enough positive things about Ty Nguyens Arlington Auto Shop. I lucked into it about eight years when I was again hit while parking on DC streets. Ty offers personal, reliable service with free estimates. Work is reasonably priced, done on time and is guaranteed. I have recommended his shop to several of my friends and they were equally pleased. My car is ten years old and looks new as Ty uses excellent products and does paint matching that restores my car to its original look. Try this shop once and you will be back.

Amazing! When I first moved to the area I needed some work done to pass the safety test, they did it quickly and were 70% cheaper than other shops. My sister decided to give them a try and she has now made them her mechanic for life. They test drove her car with her, didnt charge for the assessment, and the repairs were same day and cost effective. Needless to say we will be using them in the future! Just wish they had a bigger lot as it can get crowded.
