Ive been shopping around for quotes on replacing our furnace since its 19 years old and on its last leg. I had a local company come out and take a look and was told that there was mold and rust and that it would be $6,800 to replace the furnace. I felt that was a little high since the median cost to replace a furnace was $3,300. So I submitted an online ticket with M.E.Flow to come out and give me an estimate. First of all, I specifically requested email confirmation because my work schedule is a little hectic. Not only was M.E. Flow the only company that responded to my request, but they made sure to email me instead of calling. No other company I contacted respected my request. I received an email from Tara Araya saying she was gladly help me get an appointment set up. I then received an email from Greg Horton, a Comfort Advisor, introducing himself and expressing his interest in setting up an estimate. I called Greg a few minutes after I received the email and I can honestly say that Greg couldnt have been more pleasant or respectful on the phone. Thats a big deal, especially for someone who was currently out on service calls. He said that his schedule was fairly booked up Saturday but he would be able to fit us in around midday. Greg called on Saturday around 1:30 and said he would be able to be at my home around 2. He showed up and greeted me and my wife with a nice handshake and a smile. We explained what we had been told recently regarding the rust and mold and he quickly was able to diagnose that the issue was in the A/C coils and not the furnace. Yes the furnace was old, but not the problem. If we had only replaced the furnace, we wouldnt have fixed the issue. Greg took a long look at all the components and asked if it was alright to sit down and talk about options. He wasnt pushing to sit down, but asked our permission. He went over all the options and gave us all the time we needed to talk things over. I dont want to go into too much more detail, but needless to say, after meeting with Greg, we signed up immediately and were ready to get our work done. This was easily the best customer service I have ever received. Greg couldnt have made things easier and he really made it the easiest decision possible. When you find a company that sends out people like Greg, you feel at ease entering into a contract with them. Needless to say, we decided to replace the furnace and A/C unit and were extremely pleased not only with the overall price, but especially with the 0% financing for 60 months making it quite affordable. Thank you Greg for making a difficult situation and difficult decision as easy as you did. Whenever you need any work done, call M.E. Flow. You may find cheaper products, but youll get cheaper service.

I am writing to give the highest recommendation of Sean and Travis of M. E. Flo. Sean and Travis recently installed a hot water heater. They were without exception one of the most professional, knowledgeable and personable craftsmen I have worked with. We live in a townhome in Bristow Virginia, and have had many workers come through the house to do many different types of projects over the past twelve years of our ownership. Sean and Travis were by far the nicest, most courteous, most responsible and most respectful to our family and our property of anyone we have worked with. The final outcome is also the most satisfying, both in terms of the excellent job done and the entirely positive interactions we had with Sean and Travis. I had neighbors stop by to comment on what a clean and professional job the plumbers did in my very small heater room. Sean and Travis are excellent communicators, both in terms of job status, progress and in terms of “hot plumbing science.” One of the reasons we chose M. E. Flo over other bids was that they wrote up the most thorough, complete and clear explanation of the work proposed. They kept in contact to let us know the status of the project at all times during the day. Sean and Travis are knowledgeable and very good at explaining various aspects of the installation and other procedures involved in the installation process. The project went exactly as Sean said it would, without delays and with 100% follow-through on everything that was promised. M. E. Flo was also very helpful with decision-making, and made well-informed and helpful suggestions on what product to purchase. To a person, M. E. Flo’s crew were careful to clean up perfectly at the end of the project. We have already recommended M. E. Flo to a number of friends who have plumbing jobs in their futures. It is with the greatest pleasure that I refer them to anyone to which they will provide them with the highest quality work. Sincerely, John P. Bristow, Virginia

I selected ME Flow because my condo complex uses them. I wont make that mistake again. I have had nothing but issues. They replumbed my water heater closet in December that same night the water heater pressure valve burst and flooded my downstairs neighbor causing a couple thousands of dollars worth of damage. I called ME flow, they came out and said I needed a pressure release valve - after having completely changed out all my pipes the day before for over $400. They then said the valve should have been installed initially but that now it would cost $375 to install it. I had to have it done, I had no water at this point and needed the system repaired. Well, a month later an now the pipe fitting for the expansion tank is leaking (remember - brand new pipes all the way around). Called them on friday afternoon and they said someone would be here between 10 and 2 on Saturday. At 7 a.m. my phone rang on saturday morning - it went to voice mail because I wasnt near it. They had a plumber ready to come to my house.... really; 7 a.m. on a saturday when your window of work was 10 to 2. So i missed that early bird plumber. Called the office by 9:30 and was told they would get there when they can. Its now 4pm, Ive called them three times - their office is closed, their on all guy wont respond and I still have a leak in my water heater unit. Talk about the worst customer service I have ever encountered and this would be it. I would not recommend them. First off, they should have quoted the valve when they replumbed the entire system, and, at that time it would probably have been a lot less because less labor would have been involved. Then, to call someone three hours early on a saturday and expect them to be around is just bad business. But the worst part is the not showing up at all - that is the icing on the cake. I would NOT recommend them for any work. There has to be other plumbers our there with better customer service practices than this company.

July 20, 2016 In June, I called M.E. Flow to schedule repairs for some electrical and plumbing issues at my home in Reston, VA. Last week, four M.E. Flow service technicians showed up early in the morning to get the work done. Within a very short time, Danny and Chris had completed all electrical repairs (including going to Home Depot to pick up a few necessary parts), and after a thorough inspection of the plumbing problems in the house, Grant said that he would need to special order a few items, and once they were in, M.E. Flow would contact me to schedule the repairs. In addition, David, another technician had completed a routine inspection of the AC unit outside, and confirmed that it was working fine. I have always been extremely pleased with the excellent customer service provided by M.E. Flow staff (Jennifer, Maggie, Ann, Darlin et al), and with the expertise, incredible know-how, and efficiency of all their service technicians. Needless to say, I will continue to depend on M.E. Flow to keep things “flowing” around here:), and I wholeheartedly recommend M.E. Flows outstanding services to anyone in need of home repairs.
