We selected FH Furr via Costco, to install a new HVAC system in our home last February as our existing system began failing. Given this was new business thru Costco, the responsiveness of the sales and install team was incredible. They came out almost immediately 48 hours after the initial call and on Day 1, assessed our system and recommended a full replacement. On Day 2 (next evening) a sales person arrived with the pricing and financing paperwork, etc. Though the cost appeared quite high (e.g. $16K+ for a 2400 sq ft home system - Heat, Cool, Air cleaner, humidifier, full duct cleaning, - rebates, total cost was around $12,700), we purchased. Furr offered 0% financing and could install in 2 days. Given the coldest week of the year was expected in 3 days, e.g. temps dropping below 0, we had to get the job done. Installation went great! The 2 man team worked all day and into the evening and got the entire system installed in one day, took out the old system and were very polite, left no mess, and very professional (5 stars). On a follow up call, we even decided to purchase the Premium Service Plan to keep everything in tip top condition, so now we were $13K in the hole. Part of the Premium Service contract includes a free full house electrical and plumbing inspection to determine if there are any issues. Given we just bought our 45 year old home 18 months previously, and the house had some broken outlets, we attempted to schedule an electrical inspection. 3 times I called to schedule this free inspection and 3 times, at the last minute, FH Furr cancelled due to emergency service or electrician called in sick.....on the third attempt I just gave up and apparently so did Furr. 6 months later, in the middle of the summer, I find that there is water leaking all over the floor and into the intake plenum, resulting in some moldy/mildew growing on my filter and floor. I call FH Furr for service to come out as a premium service call to check it out and to validate why an external thermometer was not installed. Furr said they could not help for 2.5 weeks as they were so backed up. OK, it was summer and I understand AC outages take precedence, so I turned off water to my system (humidifier) and waited.....On the day of the service, I took a day off of work and waited as the service person was to come at 1:00. At 3:30, Furr calls and tells me the technician was delayed by the previous call and was not going to come that day. Arggg...so I requested in my frustrated customers voice, that they come out on a Saturday first thing and they agreed. The service was scheduled for two weeks later.... Today I get up and am waiting for their 8:00 arrival and get a call at 7:34 stating that the technician called in sick and they cannot arrive today and I have to reschedule. They ask me to call back,,,I wait on hold for 35 minutes and then hang up..... Summary....On the Sale,,,,,Excellent responsiveness, install, and timeliness (5 stars)... On ANY Service call (6 attempts for 2 incidents) NOTHING! (1 star at best) FH Furr SUCKS at service. I have spent a total of 4-5 hours on making calls, waiting, waiting, etc, and not once has a service technician been to my home... Do not waste any time or money buying premium services as FH Furr charges you a premium for nothing. I will be calling Costco to relay my review.....and will be demand a fund on my Premium Service contract. I am sure Houk or other HVAC service provider can deliver....

Updated Review: After about a week from FH Furrs fix, our kitchen faucet was functioning at lower pressure. I gave FH Furr a call and made an appointment and took some time off from work. They sent Eric B back to fix the issue. Apparently some glue from the PVC pipe fix became loose and got caught-up in the faucet. Eric was again super professional and fixed the glue issue with the faucet. After about another week, after the 2nd repair, we experienced the same problem where there was low pressure from the faucet, but this time, there was also a slow drip after turning off the faucet. Since my wife was pregnant and I again would need to take some time off from work, I decided to wait for awhile before calling FH Furr in for the 3rd time. Waited a few months for things to slow down after having a baby and then called FH Furr, for the 3rd time, and this time they sent someone other than Eric. This guy believed that the faucet (or faucet cartridge) was old and malfunctioning. He had a hard time correlating that the faucet worked perfectly before the glue incident but didnt completely neglect the possibility that glue could be the cause of the cartridges problems. They offered a discounted rate but it would still cost several hundred dollars to repair the faucet (and we already paid several hundred for the initial repair!!!!). I just find it a strange coincidence that the faucet cartridge went bad about a week after having glue problems discovered during the 2nd repair. From my point of view, if the job was done right, then we wouldnt have a faucet issue. And since the faucets cartridge went bad about a week after the 2nd repair, wouldnt it make sense that there is a connection and a reason why were calling for the 3rd time on the same faucet! Unfortunately, with all of our problems that arose with this faucet after its connecting PVC pipe repair, and the inability of FH Furr fix this without costing another several hundred dollars, I cant recommend or trust them for any of your plumbing, HVAC, or electrical issues. I plan to file with the BBB. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Had a leak in a PVC pipe in an area that was too tight for me to get into myself so I decided to hire someone to take care of it. FH Furr was extremely responsive when calling them about the issue. Someone took my call without going to voicemail and then having to wait for hours to hear back as I saw with a few other plumbers I was checking into. They sent Eric B. He did excellent work as well as took the time out to provide me with tips! Very professional! I would hire them in the future for any future plumbing or HVAC needs!

when the crew arrived,everything was fine and the installation was beeing made with much proffesionalism and with care.. the outside unit was beeing installed and when it came to the furnace i noticed it had a dent and i wanted it to be changed,beeing that it had a dent.. when the crew called their superior to let him know about the issue,the superior from fh furr fired the crew in between the installation.. i immediately opposed on the crew beeing fired ,because i wanted them to finish what they had started and right away i called from my phone to speak with their superior.. when i got in touch with him,he right away gave me an attitude and was very insulting with his choice of words and told me i did not have any right on having that crew finish the job..he got very loud and nasty.. i told him one more time that if that crew did not finish the job,i did not want the installation(beeing that they had already started) and he said that he would rather take all his equipment back.. i said ok,to take it back but to put my equipment back,he right away said no that he was not going to put my equipment back that he was going to take his equipment,i told him i have family and children that how is he going to leave me with no ac,and his exact words were "ITS NOT MY PROBLEM".. then i basically did a stand off and told another supervisor that had came in those moments,that i was not going to let them take the equipment unless they would agree to put mines back beeing that they were the ones that uninstall them.. the supervisor that came said he had orders to take it back and i told him that if that i did not want them touching anything in my property........ i as a home owner and a hard working citizen could say that this has been the worst experience ive ever had with any type of company and i do not wish what i went thru to anyone else... i want to say that "david" the supervisor that came(not the one on the phone) was very helpful and really did his best to calm the situation move forward,even though i noticed he was kind of afraid of his superior (the one that i spoke to on the phone) and with that i noticed what type of a person i was dealing with on the phone that his own crew are scared of his verbal skills..
