Overall, Ive never had any issues with this particular location. The folks have always been friendly and have provided good service. One thing I will caution, not just with this mechanic but any mechanic is to not take their word or estimate at face value. Let me be very clear, they didnt lie to me. That being said, I took my car in for a diagnostic inspection because the service engine light came on. They informed me that I needed a new catalytic converter. They quoted me with parts and labor approximately $950 (the majority of that being the parts). I thought that was extremely high priced so I went and priced out a catalytic converter from advanced auto. The exact part that Midas was going to charge me approximately $800 for was actually about $350. So I bought the parts and then on a whim called them and asked if they would install it if I bought the parts. They said yes. The parts and labor cost me about $550. So just a word to the wise, buy your own parts and find a mechanic who will install it and only charge labor. It will save you a lot of money that way.

On May 21, 2014 we were staying in our travel trailer at the local campground. My tailpipe was broken from the muffler. The staff at this Midas were extremely friendly and helpful. We went into this Midas on Wednesday. They could not get us in immediately but scheduled us on Friday, May 23. To hold us until our appointment they temporarily secured the tail pipe to assure that it did not fall off until we could permanently fix the problem. Since our pickup was the only transportation that we had, the manager drove us back to the campground after we dropped off our vehicle for repairs. As promised, at the end of the day we had a new exhaust system and the truck was delivered to us at the campground. The new exhaust system was the highest quality and was at a fair price. I give this Midas the highest marks for a job well done!

Ive been using this Midas location exclusively for the last decade at least. Theyve replaced every minor and major part on both of my Subarus over the years. Everything from oil changes and light bulbs, to transmissions, exhaust systems, and just recently an entire motor swap. Ive never once had a bad experience with either customer service or craftsmanship. Ever fix theyve made has stuck. Every time Ive called, theyve answered. Every question Ive asked, they either know the answer offhand or they do the gritty in depth research to find the right answers. Ive never felt more comfortable with a service shop before in life. I recommend William, Milo and team to anyone and everyone. Theyre open, HONEST, and highly methodical in their approach. If I could give them ten stars on this review, Id give them eleven.

My son took his Hyundai Elantra in to get an inspection. They failed it because of a trans mount and the emergency brake. He was quoted a price of 358 dollars. When he went to bring it in the next day, they changed their minds...now the price is 885 dollars, oh and the warehouse sent the wrong part. Now hes going today and theyve already let him know the part price was wrong and the part is 100 dollars more. My son is going to college and needs this inspection done by tomorrow. If he didnt need this to pass inspection I would take it somewhere else. As it is, they will NEVER get another of our cars through their shady, price-gouging doors. Three days and three different quotes? Give me a break. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from these people.

I took my car here after first attempting to get work done at the Shell station off 28 and Sudley (dont ever go there). This place was about 30-40% cheaper than Shell, was far friendlier, and seemed to be more honest (as an example, at Shell they told me my tires were so bald I shouldnt be driving on them and they needed to be replaced immediately. At Midas they told me my tires were getting worn and I should think about replacing them soon.) I cant say theyre necessarily the best place around to go because Ive only been to perhaps 5 or 6 auto care places in the area, but theyre definitely not the worst

Today I went to Midas at Manassas VA to have my car oil change and tire rotation. Before I went I did mark all the tires with numbers from 1 to 4. I was told because its saturday it will take around 2 hours to complete oil change and tire rotation. I went back after 2 hours to check the job is complete. The guy told me oil change and tire rotation is done. After I went to take my car and to my shocking suprise MIDAS DID NOT DO THE TIRE ROTATION. MIDAS lied to the customer about their job. I decided NOT to GO to MIDAS ever because MIDAS is NOT a honest place to have your cars maintenance.

Thus so far my experience has been horrible. Dont patronize this establishment. There is a critical failure to monitor there junior mechanics; which leads to poor workmanship and ultimately more money out of the consumers pocket. My wife delivered my car to receive a tune up, the very next day my vehicle started having engine related issues. The manager tried to lead us to believe that this was a coincidence and we should spend another 400 dollars to repair this new issue. Save your money, go to a more reputable shop with better oversight of its technical staff, youll save in the end.

I took my car to do this mechanic to replace the brake pads then they told me that I have to replace calipers, hoses etc I paid thousand dollars but they did it improperly I got back them they dont want to take responsibility I took to the dealer they told me its been a installation problem. I took a car to then again to complain they dont want to take responsibility now I have to pay another thousand dollars just because those guys they dont know what they doing please dont take your car over there because they dont know anything

Milo is awesome, its honestly too bad hes leaving. From the moment you walk in, the staff is very friendly and kind. They care about the REAL issues going on with your vehicle and not just getting your money like these other mechanics around the area. Milo worked with me when it came to price and even let me bring my own part in and only charged me for the labor to bring the cost down as much as possible. Great job Manassas Midas, Thank you!

We went to twice and were given horrible service both times. The first time they gave us a "new" tire that continued to leak and had to be filled every week. They refused to give us a new tire or say it was their fault. The last time we were in there, they let my car idle for well over an hour which caused it to overheat and to burn through a huge amount of oil and crack the seal on the radiator.

Came here to get a new tire. First they told me they could fix the one I had for $20, then about 30minutes later said they couldnt I needed to pay $117 for a new tire. No apology or anything staff was rude and very slow functioning. Will rather keep the donut and go somewhere else than give them my money after how they treated me.
