I had this company come out for a service call on my central air unit. This has been the worst possible experience ever. Not only were they an hour and a half later than the two hour window, without calling to tell me (I had to call them to figure out what was going on), but then they proceeded to charge me an additional 79.99 for an "investigation" fee on top of the 49.99 service call charge. None of this was told to me over the phone. Since that was Friday afternoon, I had to wait until Monday morning to talk to anyone at the company about this. A man named Dave Thompson called and proceeded to tell me that they do not need to disclose the extra 80 dollars over the phone as something that could potentially be needed to be paid. I feel like this is a horrible way to do business. If you want customers to not think that you are cheating them in anyway, you should probably tell them of the likely possibly of the call actually being 130 dollars instead of the 50 dollars you told them. That way, they know exactly what they are getting into and are happy if it turns out to be "something simple that doesnt require tools to diagnose" and they only have to pay 50 dollars. Instead of the alternative, which is way more likely to occur, of the customer deciding to just be out $50 without knowing whats wrong with the system after waiting an additional hour and a half, when I couldve been working, and not having the additional $80 to pay. Dave Thompson doesnt agree and chose to continuously interrupt me and tell me that they cant "spend an hour" on the phone with every customer. Seems to me like it would take about 10 additional seconds to mention the investigation charge is a possibly, while enhancing customer service tremendously and preventing the multitude of bad reviews I am now seeing online about their service, but that could just be my crazy business-minded self.

This is in regards to M.A. Williams HVAC Service: I was disappointed with the level of service I received. My HVAC was not cooling so I thought I would try to have it serviced (get the Freon levels checked, condenser coils cleaned etc...) Tech came out and perform the service and said everything look good. A day later the unit stop cooling again, so M.A. Williams sent a Tech out in which all he did was added Freon. Did I mention if you need to add Freon you should probably look for a leak, right? Well the tech did not do that so a day later I had the same issue where the HVAC was not cooling. The HVAC unit had the issue a third time during 90 degree temperatures and on a weekend. They advertise a 24 hour service which is false advertising because essentially it is a calling service. When I called the M. A. Williams 24 hour service they indicated I would have to wait until Monday because they do not have HVAC techs that work on the weekends. At this point I am out $400 dollars and no closer to knowing why my HVAC unit was broken. The following Monday I called a different vendor who knew what they were doing and correctly diagnosed my issue which was a bad T-valve on the Air Handler (making it appear that I had Freon leak) and a bad reverse valve on the outside unit which would cost me $2500 dollars to fix. I decided if I was going to spend that kind of money I would just buy a new unit. For 3 days I tried to get the Service manager to call me from M.A. Williams just so he would know his techs need more training on diagnostics. He has yet to return to my call. I would not recommend this company to service your HVAC. If I could give 0 stars I would. By the way I normally do not write reviews, but service was so bad I felt compelled to let others know.

Terrible service! I had this company come out to fix my garbage disposal. Appointment was between 12-2p, the guy showed up at 2:45p; late without any notice. He came out told me it would cost $144 to fix or replace it for $400. Naturally we said fix it, he then said "Well youre gonna be mad about this". He proceeded to un-tightened a bolt under the sink and it was fixed. He charged me $144 for a job that took less than 10 seconds!! I called to talk to the manager about overcharging me for such a small amount of work. I had to call back 3 times in order to have a manager talk to me. After I did talk to someone he told me that I dont own a business and have no idea the charges that goes into jobs. Im not looking to steal money from anyone or get a cheap rate. All I am looking for is a fair price for work and $144 for literally 10 seconds of work was outrageous. I recommend that you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wish I could give them 0 stars!

Horrible! Had the general manager Dave come out to give us an estimate on replacing our HVAC. Was told they could do the job and I would have the estimate by the morning. I received nothing (that was Friday) called on Monday for estimate. Dave told me he would send it when he got back to his truck. Monday evening I had not heard back, so I emailed Dave to make sure he sent the quote to the correct email address. Im going on three weeks now with no response. I find it sad that people have no regard for customers, we are the ones that give you business!

Called MA Williams this morning for a leaking toilet. Technician came out earlier than the scheduled time on the same day. Checked and double checked his work and was friendly and even knew what a Schipperke (my dog) was. Diagnostic fee only $29.95 and the whole job was less than $200. I know I would have paid three times that much if I had used any of the corporate companies out there. Absolutely wonderful experience. They will be my go to plumbers from here on out!

I had problems with my heat and they installed a new system and replaced all the duct work in the house and now Im nice and warm. The guys were so nice and more than helpful they showed me how to use the new thermostat and the cleaned up pretty good when they left I will definitely use them again!

I am a landlord and I needed a plumber to replace a hot water heater and a broken toilet. MA Williams was able to take care of both projects promptly and efficiently. I would recommend them to anyone who asked for a referral.
