I took my new car in to take care of paint damage, a chipped windshield, scratched headlight, and a damaged sunroof, caused by a truck throwing debris. I suggested taking it to the body shop behind the dealership where I bought my car, but Nationwide Insurance raved about how great this place was so I went there instead. That turned out to be a big mistake. After the first time I got it back from them, I had to take it back because they forgot to put the head light sensor on the windshield. When I got it back the second time I found debris casually thrown into the car cabin and someone had changed the settings on my radio. Thats just unprofessional. I had to take it back a second time because I found what what looked like tool marks down to the metal in the paint around the sunroof. When I went back to pick it up the third time, the guy I was dealing with wouldnt even look me in the eye and didnt seem to want to even talk to me. I tried to be friendly but from his demeanor it was pretty clear he wasnt happy to see me and I was not welcome there any longer. When I got in the car I noticed there was this greasy slick substance all over the pedals and the driver side mat. I couldnt drive because my shoes would keep slipping off the pedals. I thought about going in and complaining and asking them to clean it off, but after the welcome I had just gotten all I wanted to do was leave. I wiped it down the best I could so it was safe enough to drive and left. I solved the problem with a decreasing soap once I got home. A week later I realized they gave me back the car with the pullout blind under the sunroof broken. I close the blind so rarely I didnt even notice it until then. Before they messed with it, the bar that connects to the fabric used to effortlessly slide forward and back, but now it doesnt stay even and gets caught on either side. The fabric of the blind where it fastens to the bar on the passenger side looks like it was taken apart and put back together sloppily, as the fabric is very loose and uneven like it was done in a rush. A simple quality check could have easily caught that. I took my car to the dealership where I originally bought it to find out what was wrong with that bar, and they said the clips are broken and its going to cost upwards of $1,000 to fix! I dont have that kind of money to fix the problem myself out of pocket. Ive also noticed that since Ive gotten it back, on a number of occasions Ive heard a lot of little cracking and popping noises coming from the roof when I drive a long. Shortly after I got my car back, I opened the sunroof then closed it before parking it, and heard a loud crack like a gunshot about 30 seconds later. I nearly jumped out of my skin! I thought the glass cracked, but it looked fine. This happens after every time I close the sunroof. I read about this and its caused by not setting the window in right. Something is definitely wrong with this car because of the work they did plus the clips they broke, and Im afraid to take it back to these guys. This was all done through my insurance who kept sending me back to them, and every time Ive gone back, one problem has just swapped for another. I have no idea what to do. What should have been a quick simple process has been an unending stressful ordeal. Dealing with Enterprise car rental was awful too. I just want this to be over with.

We were fortune not having to deal with body shops before, and we didnt know what to expect. The insurance company (travelers) referred us there. Overall experience 3 stars, but only factored into the service from the insurance company. Travelers: 5 stars. Leighann, DA, John etc were all pleasant to deal with, something I didnt expect at all. Repair quality: 2 stars. The paint color matched fairly decent, after all, white is different to match. The alignments etc were somewhat off, I had to go back and ask them to refit the stuff - still a bit off, but not my main concern. My biggest complain was the final finish: they apparently were capable of doing a better job, but failed to put 100% of their effort. Lots of little heads sticking out, and some dust/black spot. There were still many of them, even after I sent it back and request them refinish it. At one area, they didnt seem to bother to sand the area before applying the clear coat, and left with a very dull area. I am just too busy to visit them again. On the bright side: its co-sited with several insurance agencies, so everything is taken care of automatically. The workspace is super clean. Folks are nice, they call you every other day to keep you updated, but I wish I had more chance to talk to the technicians directly. Also if you rent from budget, you can actually pick up/drop off there.

Had repair work done on rear panel and fender. Issues we encountered from the moment they said, "your car is ready." 1. On the initial inspection I pointed out buffer trails/holograms all over the repainted surface. Was told, "cant see them from this angle." They also tried to wipe them off with cleaner and hide with a glaze, RIDICULOUS. Eventually took it back to buff out the swirls. 2. Upon further inspection, the rear door that was disassembled did not shut properly and was rattling due to a loose bolt. Taken back again and we had to come back to pickup. Day 3, car was taken back for next 2 issues. 3. Noticed scratches on a plastic trim piece that houses the window control, from when they were disassembling the door. They fixed by repainting it, poorly. Looked better with the scratches. 4. Car ignition barely turning over, dying battery. No issues before car was sent in. Initially was told it was probably due to cold weather. They took car back only to tell me that the battery wouldnt hold a charge (which was OBVIOUS from when I called them about the issue) and couldnt do anything about it. For a business that uses "Precision" in their name and built around aesthetics, it seemed like amateur hour from the start with this place.

I dont usually write reviews but the experience I had with this place is meant to be known. I usually go to west broad collision center behind the Audi dealership since Ive gotten in various car accidents and I already know how they work. Allstate recommended I used precision body works because they were quicker.....lies. Not only did it take them a month and a half to fix my car but they gave it to me a week after they said they would. They dont work over the weekend so I waited till Monday to get it back. Then everyday that I called they would say something that delayed the process. The sensor had messed up for my headlight so they took it to the BMW dealership to see whats wrong. Then when they supposedly had it ready to be washed and finished, they call me telling me that theyre missing a part. And this happened out of nowhere! They told me my car would be ready after they figured out the headlight sensor situation and then they started telling me it wasnt ready. I called everyday and it was something different every time I called. Then when I did call the guy got mad at me because I complained about them to my insurance company. Everything about this place was absurd to me. Never again!
