HomeTowne Auto Repair and Tire sets a new high bar for service. From the person answer the phone, to the mechanic performing service to the service representative going over your current repairs and future recommended services are above and beyond professional, courteous and very oriented. I was offered a shuttle to wherever I needed to go, but had already arranged a ride home, when I dropped off my vehicle. However I will keep that in mind for future service. The service writing discussed in detail the services recommended to keep my car in good running order, prioritizing the most important and explaining how I could break them out over future routine maintenance visits to make it easier to budget. I appreciated that! I never felt pressured into services and parts I dont necessarily need, I never felt "talked down to" as women often feel when dealing with a male dominated service industry. My current and relatively new parts & services on my vehicle were acknowledged and potential upcoming auto issues were explained frankly and in detail when I had questions. I also received a small treat bag when picking up my vehicle which was a small, unexpected and an appreciate extra touch. While I dont enjoy bringing my car in for service, HomeTowne Auto makes it quite a bit more bearable!

This shop is always exciting to go to. You know how when its time to take your car to the shop, you really dread it. You think they will charge you for every little thing. Not with these guys, they mean business. I ve been taking my van there for a while now. I just recently picked up my work van (which is a piece of crap) but i swear everytime I get back in it it rides really good. I dont know if its a physcological thing, but it rides much different. They are really honest and caring. Just overall good peoples. I appreciate the time I spend there, they are very knowledgeable about their craft. I had my break pads replaced and and rotors. Reasonable price and quick turn around. I will never take my car anywhere else. I can get the job done cheaper all the time. But trust it is worth the money I spent with them all the time. I am the one to leave a good review- so this says a lot. I have 2013 lex. the only reason I dont take that car there is because I am a loyal person to whomever i trust first. I take that car to the dealership. In addition the extra perks you get when you take your car to a high end dealership- immediate loaners at no cost, massage chairs, car wash etc. Overall I am impress and will DRAG everybody there.

I was the guy who always and only took my vehicles to the dealership for service. After growing frustrated with the service I was getting at my dealership, the long waits and discourteous service I stopped into HomeTowne on my way home from a failed oil change attempt. They took care of me on the spot no hassle no drama. I took my van to them several times before I decided to start taking my wifes BMW there. Ive been using them exclusively now for 2 years and cant imagine taking my vehicles anywhere else. Now that my daughters on the road, they service her car too. Their no-pressure approach and communication is beyond reproach. They monitor my vehicles wearable parts and provide updates with every oil changes so there are no surprises when my tire tread or break pads get low. Any time I talk with someone about auto maintenance and repair, I refer them to these guys and they all share my satisfaction with the service and professionalism I from the guys at HomeTowne.

Ive been going to HomeTowne for the past year to handle many of my basic auto needs from oil changes to shocks and struts. I recently brought my car in because I had an emergency light go off indicating that my battery coolant wasnt functioning properly. Without charging me anything for the diagnostic test, they found that the part I needed was under recall, so they redirected me to a dealership to have the work done. They even went above and beyond. On the day of my recall appointment at the dealership, I had some important meetings that I couldnt miss. After speaking with their sales team, they agreed to lend me one of their loaner cars for the day, at no cost, because I was a frequent client. Talk about great customer service. I want to commend their great team for making any car maintenance simple, even when they arent always seeing a direct return. This company definitely values long term relationships with their clients and I will be going back for years.

Update: The manager from this business did contact me and left me a message offering me a ~$95 refund citing that there may have just been a misunderstanding. He stated that taxes were not included in the original quote. I appreciated the offer, but turned it down as when your representative stated, and then acknowledged back to the price as out the door I dont think there should have been a price discrepancy when my wife brought the car in. I did increase from 1 to 2 stars as they made an attempt. Price quoted was much different than when installed. Id called and spoke to Alex who gave me a price for my wifes Subaru. I asked him twice if that was the price shed pay when she brought the car in. He said yes both times. Yet, when she arrives the price turns out to be nearly $150 higher. Unfortunately i hadnt tell her what to expect as Id used these guys before and thought them trustworthy. I hope that $150 was worth it to them because we wont be back.

Weve been customers of HomeTowne for a number of years. Without exception they are courteous and very thorough. The staff is happy to give estimates for tires and service that are honored without question. I urge you to take advantage of HomeTownes free tire check and inflation. A member of the staff will check your tires for wear and return your car fully inflated. There is no pressure - other than tire inflation - involved. They wont try to upsell you or guilt you into buying something you hadnt intended to buy. Plus if you dont have time to wait there is a free shuttle. I cant recommend HomeTowne highly enough.

This shop is the biggest joke! They saw a female walk in the door and thought I had less knowledge on cars and that they could take advantage of it. I dropped my car off to be inspected after just having a lot of work done on it. They called and told me that my parking break wasnt holding enough to pass it. When I asked how much it would be to fix it they told me that it was 116 to diagnose the problem. After finding what was wrong they told me it would be a 930 dollar minimum to fix it! The parts would only cost 200 in total. I found another person to do the work for much cheaper that was shocked at their estimate.

The guys at Hometowne Auto are true professionals who really know cars and tires. They dont push repairs or tires you dont need as in other shops and are always willing to work with you in a courteous manner. Rich in particular was able to detail different tire options with me without any pressure to buy. Eddie and Joe up front have excellent customer service skills as well. Yes, they may be a bit higher than other repair shops but hey, you get what you pay for. They fully back their work and products and you always leave there with peace of mind. Clean and nice waiting area. Highly recommended shop.
