A&M are rip off artists! Do not take your business here, go elsewhere, read what happened to me: I call about three shops to ask what they would charge to replace a flasher-relay (for those of you who dont know what that is, a flasher relay, is a fuse that allows your blinkers/turn signals to flash, its a relay, a little black box fuse. Pops in and pops out) Its a simple thing, and I knew how to do it, but I was traveling and wanted to let a shop do it cause my tools were packed away. This shops rep, Jason quote me $90 done job on the phone! I saw great, Ill do it (cause I know the part is about $25 to $50 depending on where its purchased) Im happy to pass on the business. Big mistake I come to find out. When I get there I sign off on the $90 quote. I wait for about three hours. then he tells me that it will now cost $288 plus tax! What????? he uses extra words to make me think that Im going to need more parts than I originally ask for. I look it up on my phone (because Im not about to be hoodwinked! And Im a self taught mechanic) and lo and behold there is no extra part needed. So I question him, and our discussion gets heated, because Im not the average clueless customer. He basically tells me "tough luck" and so I say "really? Okay... " no discussion, no humility. I call him on his BS, and he says "oh you need more service and more time, which costs more, because you have an alarm and there is more wiring hiding the fuse!" Moreover, I personally already looked under my dash board at the fuse panel. Its like 4 or 5 bolts to get in there, and the fuse-relay part is easy to access. I was just looking for a simple mechanic who would be honest, and do the job while I waited in peace on a chair! Do mechanics like this have to be so crooked? making a horrible name for every shop!!?? Long story short, I got the hell out of there! I just walked right out, after waiting for over 6 hours for nothing! The job literally took 15 minutes to finish. So if you can appreciate advice from a review by someone who knows mechanics, THIS SHOP IS BOGUS! Dont be fooled. Jason should be fired. I will not accept some apology from the owner, so dont try and call me. I was straight lied to multiple times, and they told to "deal with it" basically. I feel sorry for all the elderly people in there. Im positive that they try to take advantage of everyone! Because if I, someone who knows what Im dealing with, cant constructively argue a point, and reveal their lies... then how can anyone! This business should go under. Note: its connected to a towing business, so you can expect the same degree of insensitivity... they take your stuff and say tough luck! Beware! !!!!!!! Worst customer service Ive ever had anywhere!

I own and luv my 07 SAAB 9-3 aero and was concerned when I was told constantly about the parts shortage from the dealership and other local shops here in Tacoma due to GM screwing SAAB. Bad company! My fuel pump needed replacing and after waiting and waiting on parts to no avail, I googled and found this shop. I was told that they had the part I needed in stock and can get other SAAB parts. I drove up to the shop the following week and was welcomed by the staff with a smile packaged with knowledge of my vehicle make, model and year. My wife followed me up and we dropped off the car and spent the night in Bellevue with no worries about our car after meeting the staff in person. They kept me informed throughout the service rendered and we picked up the SAAB the next morning. All smiles after startup with no check engine light! It was well worth the commute from Tacoma along with a great evening in Bellevue with the wife. We will definitely use this facility as our SAAB headquarters for all services/repairs and as long as they are around I will continue buying this wonderful, out of the norm vehicle brand that I love so much. I often wonder why other SAAB mechanics cant get SAAB parts. Thanks A&M. I dont care about the fresh homemade, "frozen" cookies and marbled floors that the dealerships offer with ridiculous prices to pay for such comforts. I just want the friendly smiles, parts, knowledgeable staff and may car adding up miles from being on the highway with a wide grin on my face from that turbo! Thank you guys at A&M!

Okay now that Im finally back home, I thought to review about this company that helped me a lot with my car trouble on my way to Eastside. I know I can see many negative reviews here, but Im sure they belong prior to the change in management. Well, at least my friend staying in Eastside said the same, when I told her about my car breakdown experience on my way to her home. Now lets come to the problem and solution... Im really lazy when it comes to taking my car for the service, and the fact that I seldom use it makes it a good excuse for me. As a result, when I was heading to my friends place last evening, my cars accelerator just went off. Although, I was able to push the accelerator, the car wouldnt pick the speed. Fortunately, the A$M center was just 2 miles away, so i dragged my car in the same speed to their center to let them have it a look. First of all, the staff was very welcoming. Second, they somehow knew I have no idea about spare parts and all. So the person in-charge of my car explained me everything in a very calm and patient manner. Third, when I told them that I have to be somewhere urgently, the owner of the center asked one of his staff to fix up my car on urgent basis, and they didnt even charge extra for that. Now this was really accommodating and sweet. I just waited 20 minutes and my car was up and running in no time. Glad ! its a highly recommended place. if you live nearby the service center, you must try them out!

I will save you reading my review and just tell you to go somewhere else. If you want to read my review I will explain why. A&M is a company that will work on your vehicle and probably do a decent job. They will fix the problem because they replace and work on every single piece of your car. They arent smart enough to actually find the problem and just replace/fix it. My husband and I took his 72 Chevy truck there knowing we were probably going to need a new starter since his only worked when it was cold out but for the time being it still worked when you let it cool off. A&M not only charged us over 200 dollars to look over his truck but they fried his starter trying to find this issues and wanted to charge us another 800 dollars to fix the problem. We got the truck towed home and my husband decided hed try to fix the problem himself. He put a new starter in it himself and his second baby (his faithful truck) has been running smoothly ever since. Like I said, A&M auto will get the job done. They will just charge you are arm and a leg for it and will probably break something in the process. If you are willing to spend the money Id say go for it. Otherwise try to do it yourself or definitely TAKE YOUR VEHICLE SOMEWHERE ELSE!
