Been here a few times. At first, I felt like I was getting a fair shake on service. Not on the high end of the scale, but not bargain basement either. They did the work relatively quickly. When it came to tires, though, I had a different experience. I wanted to trade in my factory tires on my almost new car since they werent rated well at all for snow (glad I did for the snow storm we had last year) but they wanted $70 more per tire than most other places. Plus, they wanted to give me only $10 per brand new tire I traded in. I finally haggled them up to $45 per tire, but the overall bill was still near $800. Finally, after bringing up a few local prices online they dropped the price $250!! Some might say great deal, I say to myself "so what, you were soaking me for $250 more than you needed to?" Once they dropped the price back down to reasonable, they decided I was no longer a priority. What should have taken 45 minutes tops, took 2 hours. They just lost their credibility. Dont try and soak me for money you dont have to. It just makes me trust you less. Most of their quoting goes off the top of their head. They dont analyze or anything, just spit out a number and hope youll take it. Its just not a good way to foster trust. Feel free to use them, but press them to justify their quotes with data and compare to other shops.

Ive been here at least four times, I believe. The manager (I think his name is Jeff) is ridiculously awesome. Real knowledgeable, helpful, always smiling, works fast, never cheats you over. One experience they did a standard oil change, fluid top-off, tire rotation, general check stuff, and even fixed up some other things (side-view mirror, coolant leak). I didnt think I was there that long but when all was said and done and I had to pay it was just comped...I was really confused but he just said, "we took too long, so we didnt charge you this time." Amazing. The time just now I came back from a vehicle licensing place with new plates in the passenger seat with my new registration. Came in to get the window fixed (circuits are jacked up I guess). Jeff said it might be about 2 hours, but I have a lunch to go to soon so I couldnt leave it just then. He decided to take a quick look at it and I chatted to the helpful and nice staff for a few minutes. He comes back, old license plate in hand (he put my plates on) and had temporarily fixed the window. I thanked them profusely and told them Ill be back soon for a permanent window fix and anything else I could find that needed some work. Also, Jeff will always remember your name. Seriously, nothing in this entire state beats this place.

I brought a Land Rover to Jeff at Elliott to get it checked out before I made a purchase decision on the vehicle. I felt comfortable buying it after their thorough diagnostic-- they were very knowledgeable about the specific vehicle and took time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed. When I asked them to fix a fog light when I came to pick I up, they pulled it right back in the garage and fixed it at no extra charge. The other thing I like about these guys is that they pulled up the cost for a bunch of different repairs on their computer to demonstrate how much various problems cost for my specific vehicle. I like this transparent pricing method because I always feel like Im getting ripped off by mechanics. As long as they continue to be transparent, trustworthy, and friendly, they won me over as a customer!

My friends mom introduced me to Jeff and recently I bought a ricer tuner. Every time he has worked on it (And thats often how I drive it/want to drive it) he has at most charged me for parts and sometimes way under. The last example was a small but generous gift. I had him raise my car, fix my exhaust, replace two bulbs, replace the oil (Mind you I asked for regular oil, not synthetic which is $80 instead of $20). He did all this work in under two hours and charged me 25 for everything!! I hadnt noticed when I first drove my car but a little later I recognized he put in synthetic instead of regular. He saved me 65 dollars just on the oil change not including two hours of mechanical work. Sorry others werent as satisfied. If youve had problems just give another chance.

Hi there ! I would like to compliment and thank your staff at the NE 85th store in Kirkland, Wa, on Wednesday May 4, I had a damaged tire on my 2015 all-wheel drive Subaru Legacy. This is key because being my first all-wheel drive car, I learned how critical it is for ALL tires to be all-wheel , or that can mess up the transmission. I would have been content to buy a new tire, if your store had one. But, your staff offered first to try and repair it. They did quite a bit of analyzing of the damage (piece of glass impaled evidently) and they decided to give the repair a try. It has helded up very well ever since !!!! And the people there are professionals. I would recommend your store to anybody. And when I am in need of tires, I will be coming in to the Goodyear store on 85th in Kirkland !!

Im an impoverished college student with a real piece of crap for a car. Everything on it is broken. When the wheel bearing on my right wheel went out, it made the car extremely dangerous to drive and wore down the rear brakes before I got it repaired. Im new to the area, so I didnt know anyplace to get it repaired locally. I took it to Elliott on a friends suggestion. The lady at the counter was FANTASTIC! Best customer service Ive ever had by far. They estimated the repair total for the car at a considerable amount, but was able to whittle it down to a bare minimum, and made the car drivable again for a few months until I can afford to replace it. These people really go out of their way to help you, I was truly taken back by how great they are and would recommend them to anyone.

Ive been bringing my cars to Elliott Tire for years now and I have never been disappointed. The staff at Elliott have always been super friendly and helpful, they have always been open and clear about the options available for repairs, and theyve never tried to upsell me. Whenever they found something that would become an issue later they let me know what to keep an eye on and never tried to push me to get a repair I didnt need. When I had the unfortunate experience of buying a lemon and was struggling to afford the neverending stream of repairs, they were understanding and mindful of my situation and did what they could to help me manage it. Overall they have definitely earned my trust and I highly recommend them.

From my experience the store manager (Jeff) is really a nice guy and has always been great to work with. I always felt that he communicated all the options well and fairly and never oversold me. I had an older truck and often told them what do I need to do to keep it running well and to my surprise most often their answer was "it looks great". I also have liked working with John. Unfortunately, lately I dont see much of these two and the employees at the front desk have been a little pushy and seem less trustworthy. For the first time in a few years Im venturing out to try out another shop.
