The people at this Midas location are either DISHONEST or INCOMPETENT! The following is my experience with Midas on Factoria Boulevard: On 6/9/16, I towed my Honda Civic to this Midas after it failed to start. The next day I was told that it was the starter causing the problem. So I paid Midas $385.35 to have the starter replaced and at the meantime they performed a diagnostic inspection on my car. I picked up my car on Friday, 6/10/16, and drove 5.5 miles to home. I parked my car in the garage without driving it for the entire weekend. Guess what?! Monday morning 6/13/16, my car did not respond at all as I put the key in. I called Midas and talked to Don there, he promised that if it was Midas mistake, they will reimburse me the tow fee ($140) plus parts & labor cost to get my car running again. Then the next day, Don informed me the alternator was bad and a replacement was needed. He denied any responsibility for NOT noticing the alternator was bad when they put in the new starter. Really? Shouldnt the surrounding components around the battery be tested after a new starter is put in? So I ended up paying $394.48 to have the alternator replaced. To the business owner at Bellevue Midas, if you are reading this, the invoice numbers related to my story above are 0243535 and 0243593. If you are honest and care about your business, you should look into the competence of your auto technicians as well as refund half of what I paid plus the tow fee! However, if you choose to run a dishonest business, I highly recommend the readers of this review to bring the car somewhere else!!! It will save you time, energy & money!!!!!!! FOLLOW-UP REVIEW 8/8/16 This is my follow-up review regarding Factoria Midas. Couple days after I posted my first Google review, I was contacted by the Midas’ representative, Lynne. She was very understanding and helpful to remediate my negative experience with Midas in Bellevue. After providing them proof of invoice, Midas sent me a check to reimburse the tow charge incurred on the 2nd trip to Midas. In addition, Lynne was able to work with the Factoria location and gave me a fair amount of store credit. Given the proactive steps Midas took to undo my bad experience at the Factoria location, I would bring my car to Midas in the future for services.

I drove up to Midas on a whim about my headlights not working and they looked at it right in the lot and tightened the connection and it didnt cost me a thing. Very cool not to have been charged for them to just look at it. Though I had to go back a week later for a real inspection and it was corrosion from the car being old and it only cost me 10.00. I had called a "dealership" for my subaru and they said it would take all day and god knows how much for them to even look at. At Midas in Factoria it was only an hour or so wait. Thanks for the quick and straight forward repair. Being a girl Im always wary of letting people look at my car cause Im afraid theyll over charge me. But I will for sure go back to Midas in the future cause I think they are trust worthy.

They replaced my front brakes in Feb of this year. While the price was reasonable, the work that was performed was not done well. I had to take it back in 2 months later to have them check the brakes again because they were making noise. They told me the pads were dusty and just needed to be cleaned so they cleaned them while I was there. Now were in Oct. and Im still hearing the same noise. I called Shell to see if they could check them and when I told them Midas did the original work, theyre response was "they use cheap parts". DO NOT USE MIDAS FACTORIA!!! Price doesnt compare to safety.

Our check engine light came one day so we scheduled an appointment. They hooked it up to their machine and an hour later said the car was dead and they didnt know why. 2.5 hours later my girl friend was crying in the waiting room facing thousands of dollars of repairs.?.?. They took advantage of her. The car has never had problems, it drove fine into the shop and we had to push it out and get it towed to another shop. It was the worst exprience ever! They are not honest and they will take advantage of you.

I had a great experience at this location. I took my Jeep in for brake work and told them I thought I needed everything replaced, they were honest in telling me I only needed new rear brake pads. They were friendly and called me prompty to discuss the progression of work during the day and when my car was ready. They also adjusted one of my headlight bulbs free of charge. Theyll also give you a discount if youre a T-Mobile employee.

When I looked at the other reviews, I was pretty surprised to see so many bad ones. I went in to get my tire patched and the two employees working there were very nice. The mechanic fixed the tire right away and mounted it back onto the car for me. When I went to pay for it, they told me not to worry about it. They did everything for free. Although it was just a patch-up, I dont know too many places that would do that.

Came in with a brake screeching and pedal vibration. I thought my brakes were done for. Spoke with Travis. He was very informative on the phone and brought me in for a FREE break inspection. Turns out my rotors in the front needed resurfacing. No extra gimmicks and no extra up sale on stuff I didnt need. Just straight forward expert help. I sincerely recommend this Midas. Ask for Travis.

Fixed a flat on my BMW i3 tire. It holds air now. However, they failed to tighten my lug nuts on my wheel and it nearly fell off my car while driving home. Only hand tight lugs, 2 lost on the road. Charged me $31 for the honor of being nearly killed. They seemed really sorry when I called them.

I called to inquired the availability of any matching tires for my Mercedes. The staff who answered the phone was rude and not helpful. He did not show any willingness to help at all. Why would I go there to have services done when people there are not ready to help? Do not recommend this place!

Dan is always super thorough and concise. They wont overcharge, and you can absolutely trust their recommendations. Heck, Ive even gone in to have work done, and they said it wasnt necessary and didnt want to charge me! Ive been a customer here for years, and dont plan on that ever changing.

I went in for grinding brakes, probably due to a rock stuck in the brakes. They looked the car over carefully and even test drove to find problems. After a close check, they sent me back on the road without charging me a dime! They have earned my trust.

They quickly (and for free) checked out my tire that had been slowly leaking over and over again. All the staff were courteous and thorough with all my options and patched the car up fast and cheap!
