I dont typically like to make a fuss or give reviews but Im going to share a recent experience I had with the Redmond FireStone. The only reason Im sharing this is because it could have put me in a very bad position had I not taken precaution. Last year around May I had discovered a nail in my tire. I took it first to Woodinville FireStone. Well, they "patched" the tire but the very next day the tire was flat again. I then decided to take it the Redmond location. They ended up charging me two new tires. Oh, well, still upsetting but whatever I just chalked it up to a lapse in judgement. Fast forward to this weekend. Saturday rolls around and I realize there is a nail in my tire (gah again!?) well I take it in at 3pm as it was suggested by FS. I call and explain there is a nail and clearly ask to make sure they check all tires just in case. Left the car with them until 6pm and never even got a phone call. Once I pick up the car Im told that they patched the car up and all is well. That Sunday I was scheduled to drive down south quite aways and I woke up to see that my tire was flat.....what was worse....the nail was still in the tire. So, the car went back to the shop, they REPLACED the tire and still insisted they looked at all the tires.....and yet....the nail was still there!!! After 3 times they still did not remove the nail that was in my tire. Im very grateful that nothing actually happened to me but Id like to put faith and trust in who is taking care of my car. The car that transports me daily and carries my family to and from. I take my car in like clockwork to get oil changes, will happily buy new tires when needed, and do the upkeep it takes to have my car be as safe as possible. To make things worse when I emailed the company directly they gave the information to the store managers at both locations. The Woodinville manager called me and basically hadnt read what I wrote. Never even took the time to look at my account or what he was looking at in general. AND after I explained what happened his response was "So I dont understand the tire didnt hold up?" Like Im sorry are you kidding me?! I was completely disgusted with the customer service yet again. Honestly I will never use Firestone again. And hopefully this review will make you look twice at the work you get done on your car.

If youre having Air Conditioning service here, you may want to ask them to check for leaks after filling the system with freon. I assumed that was done but apparently not. Had AC service done on a Subaru Outback and the first day driving it in hot weather a few days afterwards, turned on the AC, and no go, warm air. I called Firestone and asked if they checked for freon leaks after servicing AC and they said no, but they add a chemical that makes detection easy if it does leak afterward. Well thats great and I guess convenient for them, but not a lot of help when the customer is on the freeway on a hot day in a suit coat and needs AC. I really needed to get the AC working on this car for the wife so I took it to another shop in Woodinville. (I didnt return it to Firestone because after being informed they dont check for leaks after filling with freon, it didnt leave me confident in their work processes and as noted, I really needed to make sure this AC got working). At the other shop, yes, theres a leaking valve and it needed an A/C Valve Kit. The tech who did this work indicated this should have been a basic leak to detect after filling with freon. I also phoned another shop and asked if they checked for leaks after servicing AC, and yes was the answer. So, I call and speak with the Firestone Service Manager a few days after and explained things. He said the same thing, no, we do not check for leaks after filling with freon but add a chemical to detect leaks afterward, etc. I have another car that needs AC work so I asked if they could give me a deal on this service and at least recover some of the money spent on the lost freon in the Outback (about $100), especially considering the amount of other work Ive had done here. Nope, all they would do is diagnose it for free, which it seems most shops will do anyway for something like AC service. In fairness, I have had a good amount of other service done at this Firestone and its been good. I do prefer doing business with a smaller company though, as it seems these types of things usually do not happen with those companies.

If I could give less stars I would! Went into this place with what I thought was a squeaky right front break but after inspection guess I needed 2 back breaks. Was told sound travels. Moment I left the sound was still there. Called them they said thats what new breaks do. Give them a little bit then theyll stop. Well they didnt. Went back in, had them replaced again. They said sometimes the car (a Honda) doesnt do well those particular pads. Then once again after I left the noise was still there. Called again they said once again give them a little while. Then again the noise didnt go away. Had to go back for a third time. This time they tell me its not the new rear break pads they put on. It is something with my front rotor. Which at that point sent me over the top because that is what being me in to begin with. And they told me "sound travels" & its not coming from the front". So now it a little over a month later (from what the this store said today) and I went to get new tires put (from a different place) and they ask my for my wheel locks. Did not even know I had wheel locks. Called this location in woodiville and asked them if they remembered where they put my lock because they would have found it before since they replaced my break pads several times and they had no idea. So now I am screwed with wheel locks. Have to buy new ones now and after all this still have a squeak coming from somewhere. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone!!

The Firestone dealer in Woodinville Wa provides exceptional products, service and follow up. I have purchased multiple sets of Bridgestone tires for my vehicles and never felt let down. Recently I had a flat tire (screw in tread), put on the spare and arrived at Firestone for a repair at 5PM. I did not have an appointment, they were busy and promised to try to fix it before they closed at 7PM. My wife came and picked me up and by the time we got home and had dinner they called and it was ready. I asked if I could pick it up the next day so they put my car inside for the night. When we picked up my car the next day they had not only repaired the flat but put it back on the car and remounted the spare on the back and replaced the cover. I expected to have to put the spare on the rear rack and cover it myself. In my opinion this just shows Firestone will go the extra mile for customers. I like supporting local business and am lifelong Firestone customer.
