11/11/16 towed my 88 Camaro IROCZ/28 into Bellevue Auto Service & Electric Inc. for diagnostics for a issue that caused the fuel pump fuse to blow instantaneously upon installation. The circuit had an excess power supply even while the ignition was completely off and key removed. BAS & E Inc. requires a minimum payment of $300 for diagnostic time even if the problem is identified in under 3 hrs @ $98/hr. If fail to identify in $300 range they stop and inform the customer of progress/plan then acquire ok to resume diagnostics. At this point they informed me that my battery was dead and would not hold a charge (brand new battery few months old but dead) They hooked it up to a jumperbox, hand traced wires and found dried, cracked and melted plastic from the wire harness protector tubing that had been pinched between the intake manifold and firewall and was resting on a hot tube that came off the exhaust manifold. They advised removal and re-installation of intake manifold to gain access to the section of harness. Told me they took initiative to replace my radiator cap with a generic aftermarket lever cap. (Needed to be done) They informed me that the fuel pump fuse facilitated several systems with two power wires to ECU. I informed them that my budget was near the $2500 dollar range. I wanted an oil change and once the car was running for them to diagnose another issue of the engine backfiring in the intake at 2500-3000RPM causing an innability to rev any higher. They called back when they hit around the $1800 range two and a half weeks later informing me that the car was running and did indeed fail to rev beyond 3000rpm and no oil change yet. They had "a couple ideas of what was causing rev anomoly but nothing certain" They said they ordered and replaced section of wireharness and moved away from heat (Looks like the wrapped the hell out of it with electrical tape and called it a day) They said the fuse no longer popped but the switch to the fuel pump was stuck to on and replaced switch. They said they did not have to remove intake manifold afterall but still charged for a complete intake plenum, runner & valve cover gasket set. They replaced various vacuum lines and failed to reconnect a couple and routed a couple to wrong places. Used expensive corvette engine parts because camaro parts were unavailable even though I had used spares of exact parts at home. They noted cluster has glitch when headlamps are on. Prioritized diagnosing glitch over rev issue on account of wasteful diagnostic time spent on RPM anomaly hunting vacuum lines. Limited budget to $3000 asked to stay under. I called them one week later 11/29 I believe asking for progress, dash torn out of car, back lights in instrument cluster were for different model or different part numbers. Cluster tested fine, claimed to replace headlamp switch and switch housing but looks old and stock. Re-wired grounds leaving cut old wires, crimps and bolt loops still attached to ground locations. Plastic trim pieces cracked from re-installation. Fasteners missing. Trim, vents, dash, speaker, radio, heater control and steering column alignment bad. Max fan speed, radio, cruise control, variable wiper speed, windshield fluid, horn and rear defrost no longer work. Claimed cluster glitch was fixed. Picked up the car $3,368 12/2/16 at closing time. Drove car 5 minutes cluster glitch came back exactly the same. Called immediately to inform and asked to bring back when I had time. Found time to take car back for warranty on labor that they advertise in house 24,000 miles best in business. Called in 3/17 to get $750 (just cluster labor) back for disappointing work and damages to plastics or complete work thats been paid for. Under new ownership since. Same name minus the Inc. But still online and website. My bank statement does not say Inc. from payment in Dec. Same staff, website, warranty on website and location. Owner had employee tell me that he will only honor warranty on parts and do a courtesy 2 hour investigation or find me a specialist and I pay out of pocket. Disappointed

All right, guys told me that their mechanic has over 25 years of experience, especially in electrical part, so I as an electrical engineer assumed that he knows his work,I had an issue with a lexus hybrid, code said coolant pump circuit high,so I came from other shop that replaced the pump and checked everything but code was still on,and he said that only thing that could be is wires or wire connections, and he is not working with electrical part,so I came here and explained everything how it was and I want them to check the wires that are coming from pump, they said ok, and said that its not going to be more than 300 $ to estimate the problem, they said they will call me about everything they do.They never did!! I came couple times to check and first time I came they started checking the pump and all the car: tire pressure ,oil ,the belt and all the BS that I just came from shop and all that was new, except the thing they need to check, the wires. I said that I replaced the pump ,checked fuses ,made an oil change, I mean everything, just take care of that code ,you dont need to check anything except wires. So after about 5 day I started to get mad, nobody is still calling me, I came again and guess what, they used all the 300 $ just to turn off the freaking code and driving around the car for couple times, and when I came they said that we turned off the code and its not coming on and you can take the car, so you can take it and we hope that code is not gonna come on. I wanted to make sure,so I asked again this stupid man from the counter, so, I can take it right? He said yes,car works good, the code is not coming on,so we hope it was just an error or something. So I said, so you didnt find the problem, you basically turned off the light right? He said yes! Then I wanted to make sure again,so if Im gonna leave the car here you can not do anything more right? He said yes,we can not do anything, the code is not coming on!!So they charged me 300$ and after 40 miles of driving code came back, I came with the car again and wanted my money back, cause they said its fixed !!! They said NO, and said they will check the car for one more hour for free, after that I need to pay more. After their one hour check they couldnt find anything and I asked for all the money back, he only gave me back 100$ and kept my car for almost 2 weeks!!! So now to let you know, the problem was fixed in couple days by a good professional ,and the problem was the wires you all stupid algae, you have no idea how to fix anything!! You need to close and never rob people again!! You dont know what customer service is, cause I have priorities as a customer, if I dont like your service and you pretended that you fixed the car but actually I came back with the car with the same problem ,You have to return me all the money that you took from me for doing nothing on my car!! I want all my money back!!

Pay attention to the 1 star reviews of this place and listen to them. There is no way this place should have as high of a score as it does. I was having overheating issues in my Jeep. I blew 3 radiators in 6 months, and I couldnt figure out what was causing it. So my next logical step would be to take it to professionals, right? Wrong. I decided to take my car here based on their reviews, and I couldnt have been more mistaken. The young man behind the counter was completely clueless to anything automotive, which surprised me a little, given that he works at a car repair shop. They kept my car for about 6 hours, doing testing to find the issue, and called me back to come pick it up. They said they couldnt find anything wrong. They said they checked the water pump (which was fine) and replaced the thermostat (which I had JUST replaced, and I told them that) and then charged me 450 dollars.....Confident that they had thoroughly checked everything, I began to drive my vehicle again. A week later, the radiator blows again. I call them up, let them know they charged me 450 dollars to basically replace a 10 dollar part (which also takes about 5 minutes to replace) and they tell me to bring it in again. Apparently they dont understand that you cant just drive a car somewhere when it has a blown radiator. I was very surprised they didnt offer to come get it, or help in any way, given that they charged me almost 500 dollars for nothing, and assured me everything was fine. I did not take the car back to them, and ended up fixing the issue myself for less than 100 dollars. Fast forward a year or so later, and guess what?! My water pump started leaking today!!! No doubt because these buffoons incorrectly sealed my water pump when they put it back on after checking it. Thanks for nothing BAE!!
