The only time I have been to Valley Automotive Repair (other than today) was to purchase a battery for a GMC Sierra that I no longer own. The purchase and experience was quick and pleasant. Less than a week ago I purchased a vehicle that I failed to bring to a mechanic to have inspected. Big fail on my part. I noticed the gas gauge in my 01 Chevrolet Silverado would drop, and never read an accurate level of gas. Something I found to be very common in this make and model. Driving around town the dreadful orange computer box lit up with "Service 4WD." Didnt want this to be happening, as I bought a 4X4 specifically for my outdoor activities. I had already had in mind that I would take my truck into this shop as I have read and heard wonderful reviews, but not this soon. Upon arriving at Valley Automotive Repair today, I was almost immediately welcomed by Bryan and asked what he could do for me. I explained my three main concerns with the truck, he took some quick notes and I was quite surprised in the small amount of time that passed before we were in my truck, driving it to see what was going on. I expected the worst, but not THE worst. Come to find out I have some major repair bills on what I thought was a steal of a deal for the truck. Bryan really did give me some wonderful advice on how to go about this with the dealership, wrote up an estimate to present them with, all in a very respectful, professional, comforting manner. I knew instantly that this was a shop I would and always will bring my vehicles to be serviced at. Although at this point it looks like the dealership will be covering all costs of the repairs, I had an unforgettable experience here. In all reality I would love to have the repairs done here. I have no doubt in my mind that this is an honest straight forward place. Thanks Bryan, and gal at the counter! (Im sorry I didnt get your name, but you sold me my battery a few years back, I do remember that!) Ill be back soon to thank you for your kind help. Experiences like these go a long way and will stick a lifetime.

Broke down with cylinder misfire code and was towed to Valley Automotive because of good reviews on line. Worst automotive experience in my 30 years of vehicle ownership. I give them one star for friendly customer service. My car sat at their shop for ten days as they kept giving excuses for not getting around to fixing my car. The claimed I had a bad clutch and spark plugs and wires. Took them 10 days to replace them. Drove out of their shop and broke down with the same engine misfire code. Towed my car to the dealership. They fixed my car that day, (PCM failure). The dealership folks saw the bill from Valley Automotive and said I was grossly overcharged for parts and labor. $3100 for a clutch and plugs. They also said that any diagnostic testing by a mildly skilled technician would have found my real problem. If I even needed a clutch, its doubtful that on a six year old vehicle with 65000 miles, my clutch, plugs and PCM all failed at the exact same time. The wires Valley put in for my plugs were such cheap junk that the dealership replaced them. Im sure some posters love Valley because of their friendly customer service. Just remember that the folks in Las Vegas are super friendly too, as they take all your money with rigged games.

Im new to the area and was looking for a local spot to have my Audi S4 serviced, as well as have a noise that had been bugging me diagnosed. The noise was diagnosed accurately, and fixed quickly along with the oil change that the car was brought in for. All at a fraction of taking the car into the stealership. Finding a reliable shop to work on your vehicles can be really hard, but I was lucky enough to find these guys. Scheduling my appointment was easy, the work was done quickly and they called me throughout every stage of the process. They even gave me a ride home, how do you beat that! I will absolutely be back to have Bryan and his team work on my cars in the future.

Our experience with Valley has been excellent. Being new to the Maple Valley area, we didnt know which auto shop we could trust. But from word of mouth and reading a few online reviews, we knew this was the place. And we were right. Every one of the staff members we worked with were amazing. Thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable. I never felt pressured to get work done that wasnt necessary, but was informed of work that could, and possibly should be done in the future. I liked being aware of the workings of my car, without feeling car illiterate. :) They really do great work, and are extremely friendly. Go to Valley with your repair needs, you wont be disappointed.

The folks at Valley Automotive are extremely helpful and courteous, but most of all, they listen to the customer and sincerely try to help the customer to make the right decision. We have been customers of Valley Automotive for the last several years and Brian and his crew have done an excellent job for us. They were even able to repair an air conditioner for $35 which we were told elsewhere would cost us $450 and it is still working fine after 2 years! We have also recommended friends to Valley Automotive and they have been very pleased with the service they have received there and the information that was provided to them about their vehicles.

Great service and very friendly. If youve longed for the days of a truly trustworthy local mechanic, Valley Automotive is the place. They can work on all the new cars and dont mind taking care of the old ones either. Like a trusted Dr. Bryan and his crew are now the only ones allowed to touch all of my vehicles. --- Update: Jan 27th --- an oddity with Hondas created an issue with one of the parts installed. Brian and the gang at Valley Automotive bent over backwards to resolve to issue with minimal cost to me and the least amount of impact to my schedule. It there were 6 stars above, theyd get them all!!!

I have been going to Valley Automotive for nearly ten years. Their service, honesty and integrity is second to none. I have taken my cars to local oil change places or tires store and they try to upsell me and give me a laundry list of what needs to be done on the vehicle. I bring that list to Bryan and he lets me know what is really urgent and what could be done later. Plus, last I checked, Valley Automotive Repair and Electric charges less than any other mechanic in the area. Reduce the stress in your life (at least when it comes to your vehicles) and make Valley your #1 place to take your vehicles to.

Took them more than 24 hours to diagnose and create an estimate for repair work to replace bearings. I called around once I got their estimate and prices were nearly 1/3 of what these guys quoted. They also wanted 5 days to do the work. I took my car elsewhere, work was finished in 24 hours and cost 1/3 of the price. I cant help but think these guys are crooks. For what its worth, after they saw this review, they sent me a written apology of how my account was handled with a refund of the cost of the diagnosis.
