THEY LIE. AND OVERCHARGE. I brought the truck to them 3 weeks ago for change a bad turn signal / head lamp controller, and asked them to change the oil. They called with a list of suggested maintenance, which would include flushing the transmission, and would come to $1,200. I approved the work, took the truck home, and parked it. The next day it was driven, (to and from the dump, and then 35 miles down the highway with essentially no load, the transmission failed and left me on the side of the road. I had it towed back to Dynamic Diesel for them to inspect what happened. After nearly a full day, the answer was: It must be a shaft broken off inside it. But well credit you back the cost of the transmission flush we did against our price for a replacement transmission, so youll be out the door for $4,900 more. I called another diesel mechanic nearby and described the situation, asking for his price. He explained that, based no my account of what theyre saying, #1- That engine just simply doesnt have the HP to EVER break a shaft, and that likely the issue was fixable. Most likely, its a clogged valve body, due to them flushing all of the crap back out of the filter and up into the transmission, since they didnt do what they should have and dropped the pan and replaced the filter. "You should NEVER flush without replacing the filter." But, thats only about a $500 fix. Or, it could even be cheaper, if its a slipped clutch pack... about $200. However, worst case scenario, a new factory rebuilt transmission with a 3 yr, 100,000mi warranty good at any Ford Dealership could be installed for $3,300. 2/3 of Dynamic Diesels price; $1,600 less then their discounted price. When I went back to Dynamic Diesel to ask their response to the better price, Cory said: Of course were not as cheap as a transmission shop. [The $3,300 quote was from Dan at Pacific Diesel Service in Monroe, WA; not a transmission shop. And Dynamic Diesel and surprisingly failed to tell me when quoting a $5,000 transmission that Id be paying over a $1,500 premium for having them do the work instead of taking elsewhere.] It gets (almost) worse though. I told them I was going to have it towed elsewhere. They said "Weve already unloaded all of the stuff in back and its in the shop." (I have a 4-wheeler in the bed of the truck). I said, then re-load it. Funny thing is, though... I got there 5 minutes later, to see that nothing in the bed had ever been moved. The cable, the strap, everything was exactly as I had tied them. There were not track on the pavement. They were simply lying. And to add further insult: they parked a large motor home on either side of the truck, and tried to foil the tow truck driver from being able to move my truck, saying they couldnt move the motorhomes... which hadnt been there 24 hours earlier. And somehow theyd both claimed to have moved the truck and inspected it, but now couldnt move the truck. Depending upon whats actually found inside the transmission, Im considering litigation, not so much because of the money, but because of the fraud. Id thought all these years that their higher rates were for higher service... What an idiot I was to not recognize them for the dishonest organization they are. And I think back to the over $10k Ive paid them over the years, and wonder... which things even needed to be done, regardless of the fairness of their rates...?

I took my truck in to have the alignment checked as I had uneven wear on the tires. Like some of the other reviewers I know that they did nothing to the truck but charged me for putting it up on the alignment rack. I questioned the charge as it was a warm day and the doors of the shop office were open and I waited for the mechanic to check it. I couldnt see the truck but I never heard the unmistakable sound of my diesel or any diesel truck being moved. They said the truck couldnt be aligned because the ball joints were shot which was true. I paid the $65 bill for supposedly putting it up on the rack because the manager insisted that they had put it on the rack. He stuck with the lie. They of course wanted to do more "work" on the truck. I realized then that they were not to be trusted. I wonder how many people theyve ripped off over the years every time I drive by their shop in Snohomish.

Very disappointed in service, over priced and work is slow. I was told that the work would be completed 4 less than 4 hours, got my truck there early in the morning before they even opened and waited. Noon rolled around and they were closed for an hour for lunch then back at 1, they had not even started yet. I was late to work by 5 hours, later that night i am driving a my 40k truck home and the truck dies on me on the side of the road. Come to find out that neither of the battery cables where tightened causing current to be pull off only one of the batteries causing it to explode sending battery acid all over the the engine bay. I work 2nd shift and this all happened at 1am in the morning. Thank you oh so much for the work you did not it i will not be sending anyone there or ever say anything good about this place.

I took my boat trailer here because the trailer was going through tires. They took the pin out on one of the axles on one side to diagnose the issue. The whole issue was a bearing issue. They claimed that i needed to bend the axle to realign the wheels (even though they couldnt do this service until they serviced the bearings....because the bearings were so sloppy). With a little thought I figured out they had no idea whether my trailer needed realigned without servicing the bearings. I had my wife pick up the trailer because their story want adding up. Then we figured out the bigger problem when they didnt replace the pin that holds the wheel on. The wheel fell off due to this hair brained mistake (and could have killed someone). I would not use someone this careless and never will again.

They made my truck run good, but watch out if you have extras done. They called me while fixing it to recommend flushing brake and power steering fluids, transmission fluid, and differential fluids. I paid them a bunch of money and went on my merry way. Months later l came to realize the brake fluid was dirty(hadnt been changed). I had been charged for a serpentine belt which had obviously not been changed. Not sure what if anything they did change.....truck runs great, but just watch them!!
