Special thanks to Michael for his patience and understanding! I was misled by another shop on repairs that I was told I needed, on a car I had bought a few months ago at LBRs partnered dealership, Definitive Motors. Armed with absolutely the wrong facts, I even wrote a negative review of Definitive (which I have since replaced with a proper review, echoing my 100 percent happiness in their dealership -- I certainly recommend them if youre in the market for a high end used car) which was noticed immediately by their ownership, and thats how I wound up at LBR Automotive, getting a second opinion for repairs I was told I needed on my BMW 135i. Michael and the crew at LBR were fantastic. Beautiful shop, a loaner car (thanks also to Definitive for helping arrange that), excellent communication on what was happening, and Michael took me under the car to directly show me every single thing I had been told by that other shop that was "leaking" or needing repair, and, to my chagrin, even as a non-mechanic I could clearly see I had been misled, completely, in thinking I needed to spend thousands on repair costs. I, in fact, needed nothing to be done! Michael explained everything, part by part, and the money LBR has saved me is huge. This is where I will bring my car, from now on, for anything that actually is needed. I was impressed by everyone I met there, and they even cleaned my car for when I picked it up! You will see their policies and procedures posted clearly, and every aspect of LBRs shop echoes professionalism and excellence. When they say 100 percent customer satisfaction, its clear that they mean it, and, even while in the waiting area, I can say that every single customer coming or going was obviously thoroughly pleased with their experience at LBR. For the consumer, car buying and car repairs can be very daunting, but Id feel completely at ease in taking my car to LBR for any kind of work or diagnostic assessment. Face to face communication, clear explanations, and integrity that shines through at every step. If youre in search of a shop that will take the worry out of car servicing or repair, I highly recommend you stop by LBR -- heaven knows I hope I wont need work done, but if or when I do, I feel Ive found a shop I can trust, which makes the process a whole lot easier. Thanks Michael, and thanks LBR!!!

I have been a long time customer of LBR automotive repair shop. It is not easy to find a good auto repair shop with honest ownership, great service and good/straight-up advise that has customer’s best interest at heart. Time and time again, LBR has helped me with repairs on Japanese, German and American car models and every time quality and value has been outstanding. I know a lot of people look for the cheapest repair place, but in most cases you really get what you pay for and in the long term a trusted auto shop with good mechanics and honest management will provide you with a much better value for your dollar. I am a very satisfied customer of many years and the recent help that I have received from the LBR team in making some difficult choices while repairing a very expensive automatic transmission have demonstrated once again why LBR is a great auto repair shop.

LBR sells itself in part as a friendly and fair place where people go after being ripped off by predatory dealers. And you feel none of the promise from the minute you walk in: the same aggressive sales tactics and none of the flexibly in options youd expect from a well reviewed local shop. Its one thing if someone shows up in a Land Rover and gets billed $400 for a minor job. But its a completely different thing when its a cheap older car and I just wanted to find out what my options are and possibly be a bit creative about potential fixes. Right off the bat they told me that right there they needed to do $2000 worth of work and after politely declining it still ended up being $400 for something I cant even quantify and felt like a rip off. Well, lesson learned. Ask questions in advance and be extra skeptical about services and fixes they recommend.

I recently bought a wrx from a friend. It was having a bit of performance issues. As an aircraft mechanic, im faily skilled in the automotive field. Only once before had i taken any car to a mechanic. I just research online, buy new parts, install them, and hope it runs better. After that failed, i started adjusting things. I just made it worse. I broke down and gave these guys a shot. I was expecting a few days worth of work and an arm and a leg. Not only did they fix the issue within hours, they only charged me about half of what they should have. The mechanic explained what the issue was (i would never have figured it out on my own) and thrown in some extra parts for when i tune it. They are truly masters of their craft. Thanks guys!

LBR Auto Repair is convenient, comprehensive, and caring. They truly listen to the customer and provide the work needed to get the job done right the first time. My car had a squeal noise that I couldnt locate. The mechanic ran a check by machine and the trouble was located and fixed. Free rides are provided to the mall while you wait if it is going to be a while for the car to cool down or other cars preceded you. The customer is treated with respect and consideration. Costs are reasonable and fair. My car had even been washed. I met several other customers who have been coming to LBR for years and who are also happy and satisfied with the work done.

Highly recommend! I took my 2004 Mercedes in to get an air filter and serpentine belt replacement. I mentioned that the dealer recommended I get it changed after my last checkup. Harry was awesome, and said they would take a look at it before replacing, and he threw in a free inspection! They ended up not replacing the serpentine belt and while they did recommend other services, the prices were much much less than what the dealership quoted. They have a digital inspection report so you can see pics or get more detailed info. Very fair and honest. Thanks Harry (and the mechanics)!

Had my husbands car towed to them after a conversation on the phone. Sounded like they could diagnose and fix. After 1.5 days, finally called them to find that they wanted $3,000 to pull a few wires to diagnose, "thought" the original problem was .....Since the car was not worth that much I went back to get it. They wanted almost $200 just to LOOK at it and give me a bad diagnosis. My husband pulled the wires (total cost =under $10) and the part name they gave us as the original problem and they quoted $150 for?--$14.95!! and easily accessible! DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!

Great service at a reasonable price. I had LBR replace my engine on my 2005 dodge grand caravan. 1 week and it was running like new. The dip stick broke during an oil change at grease monkey, and even though they didnt break it they fixed it at no cost. I only had to pay for the part. Amazing customer service, and if you shop around you will see that they are very competitively priced I would recommend them to anyone who wants to find a long term "partner" for their car care needs.
