Services: Clutch replacement, Tune up Problems: Feel like Ive been scammed as the Master cylinder and slave cylinder both failed after less than a year. Decided to fix it myself and Im praying the clutch disc/pressure plate lasts..... Tune up: Spark plugs were due for a change now after 60k, and I find out that 3 of the plugs were incredibly hard to remove (threads look really dirty with no signs of anti-seize) but they eventually came out after spraying PB blaster. The 4th spark plug was seized to the head. It looks like they cross threaded the plug, or the lack of anti-seize allowed the plug to seize to the head. In either scenario, I now have to drill and heli-coil the plug hole. If things dont work out, Im going to have to take the engine apart just for this stupid spark plug. NOT a recommended store. Their prices are nothing out of the ordinary, so why not take your car to a respectable shop. Stay Away

I took my moms truck there because the a/c wasnt working. They recharged the system and said if there was a leak, the new freon would indicate where it was leaking. 4 stars instead of 5 because Im sure theres a way to test if its leaking without having to pay for the recharging first. Incidentally, after 2 months, does NOT work again (which I was told would happen if there was a leak). Ill take it back and have them repair it in the spring. Friendly, courteous, and, yes, I will go back. Im having a REALLY hard time believing the negative reviews concerning the recommendation of synthetic oil vs conventional oil. I really wish people would do research on their car, the manufacturers recommendations, and finding out whats best in the long run for the health of the engine before posting a negative review.

Marks in Issaquah treated me VERY rudely, Im guessing because I had a Groupon. Its 3:30pm on a Thursday and he tells me he doesnt have a tech available for an oil change that Ill have to call and make an appointment. I tell him the groupon doesnt state an appointment required, just to print it out and present upon arrival. I told him it took me 30 minutes to drive there. His response? Thats not my problem. I paused for a second thinking why is this guy being rude to me? "Its not my problem you dont have a tech for an oil change at 3:30 on a Thursday." He pushed the groupon back at me and said "get a refund Im not dealing with YOUR attitude!" WHAT!? I plan to talk to the management but he probably is the management or hates his job.

For seven years Marks serviced my 1992 BMW 325i. In this entire time the only thing I had replaced were my brakes, my mass air flow sensor, and a general tune up with spark plugs. Otherwise? Only engine oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and air filters. My car got up to 194,000 miles, and was still running great. The technicians insisted I would have no problems with long road trips, but honestly I just wanted a new car anyways. I then sold it at a great price and purchased a new one. I could not have been happier with Marks. Everything was straight forward, and I was given excellent service over the past seven years. Highly recommend.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! THE SERIVICE WAS HORRIBLE THEY MESSED UP MY SIMPLE OIL CHANGE AND OVER FILLED IT WHERE I HAD TO GO AND GET IT FIXED BY SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY WERE BEYOND RUDE TO ME AND TALKED DOWN!!! YOU WOULD THINK WHEN IM A PAYING CUSTOMER YOU COULD BE POLITE! I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE WRITTEN A REVIEW BUT PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW WHAT A TERRIBLE PLACE THIS IS. Came in with a Groupon (most likely the problem) and was refused service and lied to. The receptionist tried to upsell me to a synthetic oil change for $30 extra, refusing to do a conventional oil change, saying the manufacturer requires synthetic oil for my vehicle. (This is NOT true) I dug my owners manual out of my car, which very clearly neither recommends nor requires synthetic oil. Despite the evidence to the contrary, the guy continued to refuse service, insisting that synthetic oil was required. I ended up leaving and wasting 30 minutes of my time.

Do not be lured to this place, by their "cheap oil change" promotion on groupon. The shop owner is a cheater and liar. Although my car needs only conventional oil, he did a systhetic oil change instead without my explicit consent, and then charged me 40 dollar extra for the service. He also lied to me, telling me that my car requires full synthetic oil change, although the manufacturer customer support clearly states it is not the case. This is NOT honest business, and I will never come again.

I go to Marks because they do good work and its quick. Even so, Im always looking to save to a few dollars so I shop around when I need work on my Corolla. In four years Ive yet to come across a shop that has beat them substantially in price. Theyre generally as good or better than their competitors and I know Im getting quality work.

Outstanding service - even using a Groupon. I wanted my Nissan Xterra checked out before a long cross-country drive with my pets; I got scheduled right away and the car ran great. Very courteous in person and on the phone. I recommend the staff at Marks Japanese European Auto Bellevue location.
